8/20/2021Fish tacos and enchilada were pretty good, for airport food.
The queso was meh - super thick. The salsa had a very unique flavor that we couldn't put our finger on.
The beans were awful and the rice was bland. - J B.Colorado Springs, CO2501523
6/19/20211 check-inSeems really busy but if you're going to seat people, at least give them a menu to look at.
Four times servers walked past us and didn't acknowledge us.
One server took a patrons menu who'd just ordered, and put it in the table next to us as people sat down. He did then look at us to ask if we'd been helped. Ah no. Considering your working this section, you'd think you'd know!
The food was mediocre at best. Matched the service.
Don't bother. - 32321841
5/17/2021Just got in and had a 3 hour layover. This was just what we were looking for, we thought. My expectations were low since it's an airport restaurant. Unfortunately, we still wound up being super disappointed.
Everything was so bland. The water used to cook the rice wasn't even salted. The shell of the enchiladas were so crumbly and stale that they disintegrated. The refried beans were the consistency of baby food, bland and were served with a cooled crust... looked just like chocolate pudding. Half of the chips were burnt and none were salted.
The service was slow, and there only seemed to be one server for the entire restaurant. The place was not clean. I didn't want to put my bag anywhere other than my lap.
Stay away. Grab a bag of peanut M&Ms instead. - 180193785
4/14/2021If you decide that eating tacos in an airport is a good idea, I think it's wise to first calibrate your expectations. For an airport establishment, a 2 star review (which equals "Meh...I've had better") isn't really a slam... it's even kinda good if you consider the facts. At the end of the day, you're gonna pay a whole lot (in this case $60 before tip for nachos, tacos, and two beers), for food that is likely well below average compared to what you could get almost anywhere else for less than half the price.
Located between the entrances to the C and D concourses, Tequileria is a long time CLT establishment that I haven't visited in years. With a two hour layover ahead of me, nachos and beer sounded particularly good.
We waited in line for 10-12 minutes before being seated, which wasn't bad considering the reduced capacity of the restaurant for social distancing as well as it being peak dinner hours.
How to order wasn't immediately clear. There's a QR code on the table with instructions to order from your phone. We were in the middle of that when a waiter appeared with menus. No worries.
We ordered barbacoa nachos and chicken tacos, and two beers. I didn't taste the tacos, but the nachos were kinda sad. What looks like a rather majestic dish in the photo was actually a small amount of bland, unseasoned barbacoa sitting on top of an absolute mountain of half warm, half cold, all soggy tortilla chips. When the nachos arrived, the ingredients had already started to morph into a sludge-like mush that had a taste and consistency like what I would imagine a tube of nacho flavored space food to taste like. I.e., fills you up while you're taking a break from farming your fledging crops on Mars, and it reminds you of the nachos in your previous Earth-bound life just enough to make you sad.
But hey! The story isn't all bad. The Dos Equiis beers (they were out of Modelo) were delicious. And just for awareness, the tiny cups of add-ons (I.e., guacamole) are $4/ea. I recommend avoiding since the $4 of mush guacamole doesn't add much to your mush nachos. Service was ok. We did have to wait a little over 10 minutes for our check because every waiter in the restaurant disappeared at once. Fortunately, we had time but that could be pretty irritating if you need to get to your gate.
Unless you are really jonesing for some airport tacos and nachos, I would save yourself $40-50 and consider some of the other options nearby, to include Chick-fil-A. Or better yet, if you have a lot of time to kill, $50 will get you a day pass to the Admiral's Club. - Amol K.Viviez, France22519
8/18/2021So I always go into any airport with low expectations when it comes to food. Surprisingly Delicious. They were out of bread which obviously isn't great when you order the avocado toast but they did it on a crispy tortilla and I actually thought it worked out well. It was like a giant sopa on steroids. I added bacon on top. Not that I needed it but it was a want. The avocado tortilla was topped with fresh salsa - green peppers - two lightly fried eggs - and the icing was these yummy little pickled red onions. That made the dish in my opinion. I sat here for at least 2plus hours and worked away. Service was attentive. Quick on the coffee refills and overall it was good and I would go again if I'm stuck at CLT. One tiny nit outside of not having toast was for the coffee refills I would prefer a new cup vs. topping up my existing cup. May have been my bad but I had 1/4 left and when it was topped up it was more like a warm coffee than hot.

7/29/2021Oh my, the joke's on me! I should have known better!
An airport restaurant, with no measurement discription nor pricing for alcohol....
Don't be dumb like me! This is their $20.00+ Ultimate Margarita...
Yep! I fell for it! They got me!
Not a place to relax at all... everything is sticky, and dirty. The seat cushions are ripped, with the stuffing falling out. The stuffing, which was once white, is icky looking and dingy grey from being continually sat upon...
The labor shortage is quite apparent here. My heart actually goes out to the employees. Those there seemed tired and jaded. I'm sorry to you. - 57187794
12/3/2020This restaurant is located inside the Charlotte international airport in North Carolina. We tried it for lunch while we waited for our next flight. They are maintaining social distancing and wearing masks.
We were seated right away. You can check the menu and pay right at your table, which is convenient. Service was fine. We didn't have to wait much for our food to arrive.
The prices are what you should expect at the airport, so definitely higher and the food was mediocre. The guacamole dip with chips was bland. I would have liked some salt and pepper in it or limes. The chicken quesadilla were okay too. They come with cheese and chicken with a side of sour cream and some salsa that didn't taste good. The fish tacos were good.
That's all we had and they have a limited menu where you don't have many options of food to pick from. Overall, my experience was good but nothing special that would make me want to try this place again. You can look at the food photos below. - 2024035
5/6/2021Well, it's an airport restaurant...
I was with my boss. We waited about 15 min in line before we were seated. Once we were sat we probably waited another 15 min before anyone came to the table. I'm sure they do that so they give you enough time to get your drink and food order at the same time.
We both got breakfast burritos. I got mine with cheese and without crema. I think our server forgot to ring in our food. People that were seated after us got their food before us.
It's an airport restaurant so the bar wasn't very high. They still fell short. - Douglas S.Kansas City, MO114213
8/29/2021We ordered a beef burrito to share, a Dogfish IPA and a margarita. The water said something about "only able to make a double it we have some kind of special" which was a little weird but what the heck we had a 3hr layover. We specified "American style" on the burrito which was supposed to have cheese and sour cream. Somehow I was thinking we would get a burrito on a plate with cheese over the top and sour cream on the side. Nothing of the sort , the burrito was in a basket with a little lettuce thrown in the bottom, some picante sauce in a little cup and that's it! No chips or sour cream! It tasted good however it had little beef. The Dogfish was good in a plastic cup with lime and the "double " margarita was in the same 14 oz cup which should of been strong as hell but was pretty ordinary. Then we got the bill. The dogfish was $10.45 and the margarita was listed as a Ultimate double @ $19.34! Keep in mind there were no prices for liquor on the menu. So for 1 burrito and 2 drinks our bill was $49.34! Yes I know airport prices are high but this as a little over the top!

9/27/2020Located inside Charlotte airport on my way to Houston. I had hopes that this was gonna be good drinks and food, but not....They were practicing social distancing, customer service was horrible, and the food was the worst. Everything we asked for took forever, and they were not that busy. The prices were overpriced as usual, I don't mind paying if the food is good. The waiters acted like they didnt have a care in the world.
Its starts with a good manager who shall not tolerate anything. You either need a job or not. PERIODT
Not sure what else to say but I wont be back.
