Teddy's Red Tacos - Venice Beach

I had some of the best birria at this place! our server yanet made our experience magical, she made sure we were taken care of and were happy with what we recieved. i will 1000% be coming back, especially with this kind of service! above and beyond.

Yanet Salas helped us very well. I love that she cares for everyone making sure we had a good meal

The birria tacos here are so good - each bite is perfectly seasoned! I think the traditional birria is either goat or lamb but these are beef birria.

We got a little of everything on the menu. All were very good! Dip it in the consommé for extra flavor but honestly, the tacos are so good on their own that you don't really need the consommé.

Teddys tacos...I will dream about you until I'm in Venice beach again.

The crispy, crunchy, flavorful delight! I got the combo platter and ate it all to myself.

Easily the best birria tacos I've ever had. For an extremely cheap price they give you a surplus of meat and stuff your taco full of incredible food. The dip also enhances the taco to another level. It definitely gets messy and greasy so be prepared to have napkins on deck. The service is simple and quick, just a quick order at the counter and they come bring you your food. The outside tables have a great view of Venice Beach and some really cool murals.

Came again on a Sunday as I was walking in Venice and ordered a few vampiro tacos.
They were juicy , a tad crispy and with the right amount of birria.
At $ 4.15 the unit, it won't break the bank.
As I said last time , it is not a foodie destination but if you are hungry while in the neighborhood, it will do the trick.

I visited for my first time today. I got 2 Vampiro tacos and a small consommé. The tacos were good, but a pretty small considering they are $4 each. The consommé was good and had a fair amount of shredded meat in it.

I sat in the front patio, which is spacious and has a slight view of the beach. There's lot's of nearby foot traffic to keep you occupied while eating.

I came back again and they're consistent! They're filling so don't feel like you have to order too many. The meat is so delicious. I know what I liked based on my last visit so here's what I ordered this time:

Mulita- same as last time, darn good

Vampiro- same as last time, darn good

Tostada- Probably what I liked best, the tostada was crunchy

Consume- still full of meat and tasty

Service- order at the counter, nice and easy.

Atmosphere- people watching is a 10. Venice gets stranger every time I visit.

Stumbled into this place when it was raining. Wasn't sure what to expect but we had a lot of fun! It's BYOB (Bring your own beer). Tacos from Tijuana is an accurate description! These tacos are made with so much flavor! They have plenty of options on the menu and even though they were busy, our order came out really quick! Just a cute little taco place by Venice beach, but so worth the money.
