Tea Station is one of the few remaining OG Taiwanese-style milk tea chains in the SGV. Their drinks are admittedly pricey by 626 standards (~$8 to $9), but their large size is massive (hovering at least 30 oz), well worth the $1.50 upgrade. And each drink is hand-shaken.
Tea Station's boba milk tea brings me back to the milk teas at Chun Shui Tang (春水堂), the progenitor of boba milk tea in Taiwan! A delicate balance of sweetness paired with fragrant black tea notes that's hard to find even in Socal.
Tea Station's osmanthus oolong milk tea is also superb! Can't get enough of the fragrance of the dried osmanthus blossoms. I'd skip some of the other less well-known drinks like taro milk tea, which you can find at any other milk tea shop.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mihannah Z.Las Vegas, NV177625Nov 21, 2023
Never liked tea station
Nothing is ever real
I mean you order taro
They give you powered drinks or small dough balls has nothing inside ( it's not taro or yam)
Fake
All the drinks are made by powder, which made it have no flavor
No one ever came to me ask for what I want neither
So fake drinks food and now they charge twice as much !!! A beef noodle is cost 20$?!!
So 10$ a milk tea plus 20$ a noodle soup
30$ total and add tip and service fee
Basically 40$ just one person ??!!
Two ppl be 100$$
That's a joke
I can order hotpot or Korean bbq for that price with real food and drinks
lol its ok you pay for the stuff but please use real ingredients!!! Make it worth itHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 12, 2023
Best milk tea EVER!
So many 'boba shops' don't care about the tea they serve...and this place is SO not one of them. On the left they have a wonderful assortment of loose leaf teas, properly graded in the way I haven't seen outside of SF and NYC's Chinatowns. On the right was seating for the restaurant side of the business. And in the middle was the line of folk ordering iced teas to go.
I had the Taro Milk Tea, 0% Sugar, with Boba. My wife had the Jasmine Tea, 25% Sugar, with Crystal Jelly. Both were extraordinary...if not the best we've ever had, tied with one or two others for the top spot.
You don't come here for the atmosphere (though many were quite happily munching on lunch) and the service was quick and to the point. But do, do, do come here for the tea.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0 - Cai D.Houston, TX3033761900Sep 3, 2023
Don't know why this place got such bad reviews. My husband loves their lemon green tea. It can run a bit sweet so he normally goes with 25% sugar. The tea flavor is strong and good. I can't take caffeine so I normally order the honey chrysanthemum tea. It's sweeten by honey and I get it with no added sugar. Today I wanted to try something different and got the mango paradise with 25% sugar. It's amazing. It's like a mango smoothie with ice cream and small mango cubes. The flavor is well balanced and the mango cubes add a texture to it. The place is quiet and spacious and comfortable to spend time in.

This is a great place to meet and have a chat.
Street parking is easy, and plentiful, and there's also a parking lot in back.
There are plenty of different kinds and types of tea, from hot to cold "semi-slushy" versions. They also have a nice selection of food items. You could definitely go there for lunch or even dinner.
I had the jelly ice lychee. Large. $7. Don't make the same mistake I did. I just simply ordered it but had no idea I had an option regarding the level of sweetness. I took one sip of it and it was like drinking undiluted sugar. I politely mentioned that my drink was too sweet. The man who worked there said I'd ordered a "regular" and that's how sweet it is. He graciously made me another, but even with less sweetness added, it was still way too sweet. Once the ice melted the sweetness toned down a little. Definitely ask for litte or no sweetner added if you don't like your drinks sugary sweet.
It was my fault, but it would have been nice if they'd had asked me how sweet I wanted it. I'm guessing most people who go there already know how the sweetness level works. Now you do, too!
On a side note, there was a "sample only" tea station set up near the front door. I grabbed a small cup to try a sample and some woman came up quickly and started scolding me in Mandarin (I think). I had no idea what she was saying. I quickly put the small paper cup down and apologized. She was not having it. She was angry. Oh well. I still don't know what I did wrong, but I'm telling you, even though it says sample, it doesn't mean to actually sample.
I'd still go back. I liked the place.Helpful 16Thanks 0Love this 15Oh no 1 - Nov 30, 2022
Why does this place have such bad reviews?!? I have never had a bad experience here! I love their oolong milk tea with boba, everything is always so fresh. I get my milk teas 1/2 sweet when I get it with boba because the syrup is sweet enough. I always get a large no ice and I appreciate they don't charge extra for no ice. The space is very small. I would love to study there but unfortunately there is only a handful of tables and a tea shop in the restaurant (which I frequent as well). I don't know anything about the food I come here only for the tea but I love it.

Hi Yelpies!
The "large" drinks here are extra large (think super sized), and the regular drinks I think are what larges used to be.
I ordered a pickled ground pork w/ rice dish and a large lychee green tea. Both were good, though at $27 dollars for the bill, it was a bit steep for my wallet. Food was definitely great, and it might be good to visit to take on a business lunch or something, but I suspect this place was empty purely because of the price point. I think you might have better luck going to a tea station express location instead for casual eats, where I think the price point is a little lower (relatively speaking).Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Melissa H.San Diego, CA848029Nov 23, 2023
Came here last night because it has been years since my husband and i been to a tea station. We were shocked that their milk tea is almost $8 for a medium. It is way more expensive than other boba places. The drinks we got were just ok and because there are way better boba places out there and way cheaper, we will not return

Great and nice service! The workers there are actually really friendly and their Popcorn Chicken is definitely a must buy! The Popcorn Chicken is crispy and very delicious!! The Matcha Milk Green Tea GT with boba is also really tasty and the Taiwanese Sausage Slices are very good too! There is a place where you can sit down inside to eat and drink as well. I definitely will come back for buying more of their yummy drinks and all of the other amazing Taiwanese food again! Thank you all so much for everything!! Five stars is my total rating!

Got treated to a meal here by an older female friend from an Taiwan (around her 60s) that suggested it might be good to get a bite to eat (As opposed to a "formal" sit-down restaurant)
It was a good representation of Taiwanese home style cooking. Got the Braised ground beef over rice as well as the chicken leg over rice. It got paired with some side dishes that were on the healthy side, such as stir-fried leafy-green veggies.
Since it is a traditional taiwanese tea house, they have a good selection of potted hot teas as well as flavored cold. They were one of the original taiwanese tea houses long before the whole boba crazy took over the west coast so no need to worry about if they know how to reduce the sugar or putting more or less ice.
For me it's kind of on the pricey side, maybe $20 for a bento lunch box, for this price I rather get some kind of punchier street Taiwanese food, such as stinky tofu with spicy dipping sauce and/or a small sausage wrapped in big sausage along with a boba milk tea, but I would say this is good for the older folks and babies (not too salty, not too oily, good ingredients, etc).
The only thing lacking was the sit-down atmosphere, it felt slightly industrial for me personally. Maybe because I was sitting next to the storage where they put the high chairs. The only thing separating me and that storage was divider that was not all the way shut. Other than that, I would go again if I get treated again lolHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
