TD's Pizza

Saw the excellent reviews and we are in town for a couple days. Had a great deal on small 1 topping pizzas, 1 we had sausage, mushroom and bacon, (our families go to favorite) other we tried the Buffalo per the owners suggestion, which we loved! Homemade buffalo sauce that is slightly sweet and spicy tossed on the homemade chicken tenders...it was awesome! Crust is thin and crispy yet chewy, cooked in a stone oven. Also tried the pressure fried chicken which was also a huge hit and potatoes that were diced with chicken, bacon, cheese and some "secret" ingredients per the guy working there. Kids were scraping the container they were also soooo good! Will definitely have to sneak in pizza again before we head home!

TD's is quite simply: Action Packed Pizza. Hear me now, and believe me later; TD's is some serious pizza. I'm looking forward to their wings, but Tony can sling some no-lie pie!

SUPERB! EXCELLENT! GREAT! FANTASTIC! MAGNIFICENT! (did I say superb? How about fantastic? I did? Good, can continue then) Came here because I wanted to eat out on a rare Sunday night off (overnight stocker at a SoMiss Walmart and have worked every Fri, Sat and Sun night since starting back around Memorial Day) and one place I had been wanting to try closed at 14.00hrs and wanted to get more sleep than that would allow and saw TD Pizza on Yelp here, and being open until 17.00hrs, being local family owned and being a REAL pizza joint Vs the chains that all taste the same (not only nationwide within the chain, but even between the chains) TD had me. Having lived in Chicago many years I learned to appreciate good pizza made right and got to love places like this (even if a local chain) because they put time, effort, care and most importantly, love into their products. TD not only does pizza, but chicken as well that looked pretty good (will have to pop in and get some one day off for a quick lunch). Tony H. and his son were working today (had to tease the boy a bit as I was a Tiger when I was in school here and he's a Rock, still a nice kid though), and as my parents and I were finishing up our pie Tony came over and had a nice conversation with us. While I prefer the Chicago deep dish and stuffed pizzas (like a pie that a 10" feeds me and 2 or 3 friends. Not something that I can polish off a 16" by myself), the NY style thin crust was excellent. Great taste and nice and excellent crispiness just like I love in a thin crust. Topping selection a little limited right now, but as business grows and more people coming in and asking for other things, I can see selection growing. New business so keeping expenses down extra important right now.
