I had heard about "Miller the Killer" or "Killer Miller" through word of mouth over the years, but was desperate one Thursday evening at 530 when my dog was acting strangely. Sure, they begrudgingly agreed that if I came right then they would see my dog at 530 when they close at 6, so i'll give them that much, but it does downhill from there. This vet gave my dog an injection of Rimadyl without my knowledge, which can have adverse reactions and cause a lethal toxic reaction in some dogs. I believe this may have played a part in the early demise of my dog and recommend no one visit this vet.

When I got there and mentioned that I usually see the other vet in the area, every other sentence out of this guy's mouth is bad-mouthing the other vet, Dr. Graef - who is well respected in the area. This should have been my first warning and I should have left then. He then proceeded to ramble on for 15 minutes - while my dog is having anxiety from being in the vet's office and us both wanting to leave - about I don't even know what, and somewhere in there decides my dog has an infection in her gums and he would give her an "antibiotic" shot. This is where he proceeds to give her a "cocktail" injection without telling me what he was giving her or why - other than an antibiotic, and later that he gave her something for pain, even though he had told me earlier that she wasn't in pain, she was just having "old dog" problems.

It really appeared they had no concern for my pet's well-being, and instead of listening to what I was saying or really paying attention to my dog, he just kept bad-mouthing the other vet in the area and going on and on about all these different possibilities of "old dog problems".

When I go to check out, the lady asks him if she would "give" me some can of science diet dog food and he says "yeah, give her a can". She tells me they are "giving" me this can of food, see if she can eat it and also gives me a syringe to try and collect my dog's urine. She tells me my total with shots and office visit charge and I pay the $65.....only to get my receipt and see that she failed to mention they were charging me $2.50 for the can of dog food they were "giving" me.

My dog got worse when I brought her home, increased thirst, vomiting, flecks of blood in vomit, tarry stool, weakness, staggering - all symptoms of toxic reaction due to Rimadyl. We had to rush her to another vet the next morning, she couldn't recover, and we had to put her down that evening. We did discover that she had cancer and would die from it, but it's hard to believe the onset of symptoms had nothing to do with the injections given an hr before her detrimental symptoms began.

Save time, money, and heartache. Avoid this vet at all costs. Go down the street to Dr. Graef's.
