Without a doubt, the most disgusting and pathetic Target I have ever stepped foot into in my life (and I've driven through Nebraska). Bare shelves, disorganization and the problems the liberals have created crawling inside and outside the store like cockroaches. It should absolutely be closed down as well as much of the stores in this area of the city. If you need something and it absolutely must come from Target, you're better off driving to another one even if this one is within walking distance.
An abomination.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Saira S.Seattle, WA3277278Nov 27, 2022
The place looks robbed because they never have anything in stock. Also try not to go during peak times (after school/work and on Sundays) because the lines get really long. Self checkout only and parking is only metered street parking.

This was a very convenient location for me as we were temporarily staying at the UWMC and were already on University Way picking up stuff. It's a smaller Target than what we're use to but still had what I needed--- sunscreen. I did notice that they didn't have as many drink choices as I would've liked but still decent. Also, the employees there were very professional and friendly--- they greeted me several times when I walked in and offered help when I looked lost.

This place is extremly convient! It's located on the ave and near the University of Washington. It's a bit smaller than most target places, but much bigger then the dollar store that used to be there.
It has 2 levels! The first level has some clothes, food and drinks. The upstairs is everything else such as towels, bathroom supplies, and more. The price is moderate. They are currently having a sale on cherries and they are delicious! Wish they had more food selections and the price was a bit lower. The meat is a bit expensive and not a lot of variaty.
They just opened and are giving away free limited edition bags that they made! They are super cute and can carry a lot in the bag! Personally this place is very convient, but for food, I'd rather go to QFC or Safeway, but Target sometimes has really nice deals! For example, they currently have a sale on rainer cheeries for $2.99 and are super sweet and crisp!

This was like walking into a college campus convenience store- and organized much like a messy dorm room. Yikes. Not at all what I expected but pretty much on brand for the filth that exists on University Ave. Also, good to note that there is zero parking other than street parking, so good luck. Unless you're a college kid looking for hot dogs or boxed fans, avoid this place.

I am not sure why this place has 3stars. Just by looking from the outside, this is not your usual target store. This is small and mostly they sell essentials. So if you are brand picky then go to a bigger one which is about 3-4 miles away. Most of the things a student may need maybe found here. From papers to toiletries they sell here.
5 stars for the customer service. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Most of all, they are more than happy to answer your questions.
Parking maybe a pain, but as what Ive said this is in U district. In short, their target buyers are students who live in the areaHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Megan S.Seattle, WA312223137Aug 12, 2019
This Target is very convenient to UW, which is a huge plus. However, it is quite small so the selection suffers.
The first floor has a decent grocery section that includes produce. It looked pretty good, but things were on the expensive side. You will also find a miniature clothing section that barely has anything.
Upstairs are the health/beauty/home goods. They have all of the basics, but it's so compact, it's hard to find things. I walked around for ages looking for sunscreen. Chapstick was also in 4 different places, which was confusing.
I like having a Target here, but I certainly miss the Dollar Tree!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Patrick D.Kennewick, WA24525Sep 9, 2022
I'm a college student and a security guard so I am more than qualified to write this review. This store sucks and I avoid it unless I *absolutely* have to get something from there. I don't know whether or not its the shoplifters or the supply chain issues (a mix of both, but even then the Ballard target is PACKED given the circumstances) but sometimes I can hardly find what I want here. Every time I've been in, I have seen some Kevin walk out of there with 50 goddamn hot dogs in his pocket and several security guards standing there doing nothing about it. These fuckers take food from college students so they can chill out on the streets and smoke fentanyl or some other godforsaken lung-rotting chemical. This is one of the only grocery stores on the Ave besides District Market, the price-gouger, and Trader Joe's the un-unionized store! So whenever I have to go shopping I have to take a bus a mile east - an inconvenience that could have been prevented had SOMEBODY chose to do their jobs.

Anything you look for will more than likely be out of stock. Super small and inconvenient for any grocery store, especially a Target.

I've had mostly average experiences at this target, although they are always out of stock of what I'm looking for.
I'm leaving a review for a bad experience I had today with one of the staff. My friend and i were trying to use a deal advertised in their store that was buy 3 beauty items $4.99 or more, get a $5 giftcard. We decided to buy 3 items priced over $4.99 from the same display we saw the sign advertising the deal. We asked an employee at self-checkout how to get the giftcard and he said it'll just show on the screen if it qualifies. After paying, the receipt showed no indication of the $5 giftcard. We went to ask the same employee and before we could talk he said "I need to wipe down the registers first" and made us wait for him while he wiped down all the self-checkouts. Okay, fine I get it if you have something to do, but that was the first thing that felt off. Then when we talked to him, he just said "not everything on the display qualifies." Before I could ask him to tell us which item didn't qualify, he told another employee to take over his place and just left. He didn't tell us if he was leaving or for us to talk to the other employee. I wasn't rude and simply wanted to know why the deal didn't apply. In my experience target staff are always very helpful and nice but not at this target. Anyway, we gave up and left, but I'm not happy about the way that employee treated us.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
