My sister and I visited this Target location a few months ago after my friend's baby shower. Compared to the Targets we normally visit, this Target location is well stocked with various items. Needless to say, we took our time browsing through the store to get what we needed and also to see what else they had.
Customer service was great here. One of the staff members on the floor saw our confused look while trying to search for an item, so he stopped and asked if he could help us locate what we needed. Thankfully, he knew exactly what aisle our item was on. Once we were done, our cashier was very friendly and helpful.
Overall, this is a nice Target to shop at, however, it's quite far from where we both live. I wouldn't mind shopping here again if we are ever back in the El Dorado Hills area.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jan 28, 20241 check-in
There are Targets and there are Targets. The EDH Target I need to give reduced stars to due to the disorganization of the stores, lack of service, and how the checkout lanes especially the self-checkout registers are, or are not, being manned.
EDH's Target recently went through a renovation, but with the lack of maintenance, one would never know.
When time allows, I honestly prefer the Folsom Target even though it's farther away. Come on EDH Target, let's improve this spot for everyone.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - David M.El Dorado Hills, CA6222Apr 21, 2024
I have finally had it with Target first. It was all the gender crap with the kids swimsuits, and it was all the rainbow Santa Clauses and X mas decorations is which only children who believe in Santa Claus and Christmas so that's just another program of brainwashing children. now, I go in there this morning there's one check stand open and one self check out open three people in line in at. self check out all with a lot of stuff the one lady using it is having a problem. The guy that's helping her is also having a problem. The one lady at the checkout stand has two shopping carts full of bedding linens, drapery all kinds of things and then she realizes she's missing stuff and goes back for more. I asked the guy. Hey can you open another self check out or checkstand? He says nope this is how it is! I asked what do you mean this is how it is you've got 7 customers waiting in line and nether check out is moving why can't you open another check stand or another self check? out it's too early he says (it was 8:40) so I talk to the manager she tells me it's a new policy, trying to keep.costs down because of the inflation (Thank you Sleepy Joe you POS) at the end of the day to help keep costs down. So are they really thinking about the customers them by not raising prices but making is wait in line for eternity. Target used to be a good place to shop and now it just sucks!!!! It's so amazing how one small group of people can screw up our country in a little over 3 years!!! Then we have Newsom for Governor here do we Californians are taking it both ways!!!

if I could put zero stars I would. Came here to purchase gift cards for Christmas for family and for a homeless shelter. Turns out, none of the gift cards work. I just checked one because I bought one extra. checked with my family about their's and they got the same result. Funny thing is as the lady rang up the cards, another staff member came to the front and stood a few feet away trying to act like she wasn't watching this lady ring up my cards. You need to check your staff because I don't think it's a coincidence my cards don't work. The packaging was in tact.

To be honest, there wasn't much to write about except, there was some skeptical activity going on in the parking lot but the store was clean and it had everything I needed. I am not sure if it's a sacramento thing but the lighting in parking lots and on the streets is very bare. I am actually afraid to walk out at night..sketchy

I'm not writing a complaint on this target just an employee. I came in tonight with my boyfriend and he went to check out a bike. An older employees almost instantly as he put his hand on the bike goes "aRe You goNNa bUY thAt". As I understand that must be a reoccuring issue of children riding them through the store. However both of us are adults and look so and it was simply unreasonable and lame. Hoping she can learn some better manners or common sense. Maybe she just had a bad night.

The heart knows what the heart wants! My heart loves Tarjay in El Dorado Hills! And the CVS Pharmacy inside the store! But that is a review for another day:)!
All Targets created equal? Me thinks not. This one seems smaller, more intimate and less busy then the Folsom location. And I like that. On certain days and at just the right time, the store is so quiet and peaceful.
Brilliant marketing strategy to add the designer sections, Chip and Joanna Gaines and Studio McGee. I find it most tempting to sneak a peak as soon as all the new merchandise is rolled out on Sundays. But never on Sunday! Wayyyy too many peeps checking out the weekly new sales!
Personally...I feel Target has done an exellantè job of duplicating many high end furniture and home dècor department stores' merchandise at "mucho" lower costs. And kudos to them. The consumer is the definite winner.
The customer service is wonderful! Always helpful staff and such nice cashiers. They go beyond and above in all my experiences at this location. Truly! This is what makes this particular Target so special.
So may I finish by stating I am a Tarjay snob and proud of it! Why would I want to pay more for that cute summer pillow or my fav artificial basket of outdoor grass at West Elm when it is right there waiting for me at the El Dorado Hills Target!
Hmmmm...do I have an EDH Target addiction?:). Happy shopping!Helpful 13Thanks 0Love this 14Oh no 0 - Michael V.CA, CA056May 2, 2023
Not a fan
This was a great company before they started putting young boy clothing in the young girls section. Not a fan of how they are grooming and confusing youth today. So with that being said we will not be shopping there anymore.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1 - Sierra K.Sloughhouse, CA18746Apr 28, 2023
I always love target and will give them five stars, except the bathrooms are always disgusting. The bathrooms have always been subpar (which is the norm for most targets) but now that they have gotten rid of the paper, towel dispensers, and it is even worse. Since no one can dry their hands properly, there is water all over the floor, which then leads to wet muck all over the floor. The stalls seem to perpetually be out of toilet paper. Target is always more expensive than Walmart and usually more expensive than purchasing online, so you'd think they'd provide some paper towels and clean the bathrooms once in awhile.
