Food - the food was excellent! Plenty of TexMex and more authentic options. The Mega Guac was, as advertised, huge! But it was tasty and worth it. We also both got burritos. My partner got carne asada and I had the Tofu Al Pastor. This was the first time I've ever had tofu that way and it was really really good. The salsas were also good - I mixed the verde with the spicy rojo. We got Mexican cokes and they came in half liters too. The portions were generous so I had to take part of mine home. I would go back again for sure and try a large next time. This is the best Mexican food in Belltown in my humble opinion, having tried all of them in the neighborhood now.
Service - very attentive and helpful! Our server was polite and so on top of it that he brought us some other salsa options when one seemed too spicy for my partner. He also checked in regularly too.
Ambiance - it's a small but very pretty space. The ceiling is really cool with all the hanging flowers and they have a little disco ball to add flair. There's also a lot of windows so you can see what's happening out on 1st ave.

Is this place new? Probably not? I just haven't eaten around the harbor steps in years. This replace another restaurant I went to a few years back and inside is decorated beautifully. My friends and I decided to get food after work so they headed here first to get a table. I decided to order a burrito as a sat down since the girls had been waiting for over 45min for me. One got enchilada and the other one ordered a burrito bowl. Food was so good but we had been snacking on their chips and salad so we ate half and packed everything up to go for work the next day. I must say they had some really tasty salsa. One was spicy with the perfect amount of heat and another one that was on the mild side but super tasty. We'll definitely be back since it's down the street from our work and also really affordable. Service and food were great! Also HH is really a steal!

Friendly staff, but food was just okay.
I came by with my friend the other day, and we were able to snag a nice spot outside. Our server was extremely friendly and made sure we had water at our table at all times.
I got the Al Pastor Quesadilla, and I will start by saying it was quite flavorful! The pork was seasoned well, and overall it blended well with the cheese. However, the meat was extremely dry, and the only thing that made it okay was the grease from the cheese. Unfortunately, it didn't take long for the grease to start seeping out, and I had oil all over my hands. It got to the point where I couldn't finish the meal as it was far too greasy.
My friend got the vegetarian burrito bowl and loved his meal. So, maybe it's just the quesadilla you have to avoid.
Honestly, I didn't enjoy my meal at all, but I'd be willing to give it another chance for the burrito bowl.

If this was just for the drag brunch I would give 5 stars. The drag queens are the BOMB! If you have a chance to go to the drag brunch I HIGHLY suggest it. You won't regret your choice. The service was great and the food was ok. I took off 1 start for the food. I was bummed there weren't any kids options or options that were egg free. My teen doesn't eat eggs and the only thing she could find was a breakfast taco with scrambled eggs and bacon. I think she mostly ate the retired beans.
I had the carbs asada and it was really good. I would suggest it for sure. The cocktails were great and hit the spot. My hubs for the breakfast bowl and let me say..... that avocado was perfect. Nom nom nom.

This place is kind of awful and overpriced. There weren't many place opened on our Sunday afternoon out, so we were forced to eat here. Some of the worst bland food I had ever eaten. Barely ate, I hate wasting calories.
It reminds me of school food, but even my school wouldn't serve us this slop. It's like the stuff we fed the farm animals on campus. Even the poor chickens would run away from this.
Service was mediocre as well. Waited forever to be served, and she kept forgetting things. It was 20 bucks for two bottom shelf tequila shots lmao. Like OK.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Sep 5, 2022
Runway drag brunch review:
Came here with two friends for my 50th and we were seated at the end of the bar. The atmosphere is fabulous, halfway down the harbor steps with big bright windows and open space. I don't think that there's a bad seat in the house. (Not sure how to get there if you were unable to navigate the stairs, will update on my next visit) Good view of the performers entering from the outdoor courtyard. Doors at 11 and the show was at 12:30, so we arrived at 11:30, and had plenty of time to order food and drinks before the show.
We had the regular Bloody Mary the Margarita Mimosa, a Cosmopolitan and a birthday margarita shot with an interesting garnish...(be wary to but yourself out there because there will be a surprise in your drink and you will need to dance!) Bottomless mimosas were available but I know better than to head down that particular rabbit hole, lol. They were made in front of us, a huge pitcher of bubbly with a literal splash of juice, maybe 1/4 cup max!
The food was shared, we got the guacamole with the salsa trio, the queso and the sopes. A big tray of fresh chips was served with. The guacamole was one of the best I've ever had. Perfect amount of seasoning and piled high on a bed of chips. Out of the salsa trio the green was so finger licking good! Salt, spice umami. Yum! The smooth red was super spicy for me but my gf loved it! The chunky red was great as well. A lot of the menu was meatless and possibly vegan. I'm gluten free and there was a ton of things to choose from. I wish I had taken a photo of the brunch menu, but I'll be going back soon so I'll update it then. I will come here again for the full menu, it was so good, but the real delight was the show!
The drag show was soooo good! Tons and tons of energy, great lip sync performances and amazing dancing. Bring cash which they will convert to one's for you, every time a queen comes out you hold your cash out and try to entice them to come over to you. Costume reveals as well, it was great. Four queens enter-tainted us from 12:30 to 3! Highly recommend getting one of the fans, it does heat up in there and plus it's fun to clack during the show. I've been to a different brunch show at a classic icon on Broadway, you know the one, but sadly that ol' gal is like looking and feeling tired in comparison. Jus' sayin'. Plus for only $10 per person for a reservation, and food choices well under $15 this place is a deal!
There was a Drag Race season one queen, and I've heard that there can be even more famous queens here such as Jiggly Caliente. I think the reservations for those shows are a little more expensive but probably worth it. In conclusion, Just go, a fantastic way to spend an afternoon, and do not forget to tip your fabulous DJ Urban!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 1, 2023
Well, I was impressed with great service, flavorful food, and a nice walk from my hotel.
Wanted Torta or a chimichanga, but tacos provided a way to taste 3 different proteins - carne asada, el pastor and a barbacoa. All were wow in taste. These were not street tacos but big ones and, needless to say, quite filling along with beans and rice. Only complaint was the taco (soft corn) got soggy rather quickly. But a fork and knife was handy.
A "will return" again.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1 - Sritha V.Seattle, WANov 1, 2023
Went here for drag brunch with a free friend to celebrate my birthday and had the best time. The show was so entertaining and kept everyone engaged and the restaurant itself was decorated so well. The food was SO GOOD! We tried the breakfast burrito, chilaquiles, and the French toast. Everything was cooked and seasoned so so well, I would definitely go back. We also got bottomless mimosas and our server was so sweet with constantly filling up our glasses. Highly recommend checking this place out whether it's during a drag show or not!!

(5 stars, 3 $$$) Being in Seattle for the first time, we were hesitant about what to expect for Mexican food. But this place is spot on. From the Horchata to the main course meals, everything was on point! The prices are different from the Yelp prices. For all the food we ordered I was estimating about 60$ less but the 200 bill was worth the experience of all the taste of LA Mexican food. The inside is "cute" and small. Very cozy. The service was quick and the servers were all very polite. Would come here again and maybe just order less next time.
