Taqueria Cancun

An old school and a bit run down Mexican spot that is open almost 24 hours. Though for me, the best time to come is in the morning. With big cheep breakfast plates and Menudo soup...yep I'm one of those weirdos that loves Menudo. Tons of the good stuff pilled in there with a great broth. This will kill any thing from a hangover to a cold ha. Tacos are cheep and good. Don't sleep on the tortas for lunch either. Service is business like and efficient, food comes out piping hot. A great variety of people are always here, and it is a staple in the area.

Great deal on terms of cost for amount of food.

Plus they give unlimited chips and salsa. Go for the green sauce if you like really spicy.

I normally get the beef or chicken enchiladas and I always have leftover for another meal.
It's a bit on the heavier oily side so wouldn't say it's the healthiest option.

Nicer service, lots of free parking, able to accommodate midsize groups of 6 people at their longer tables. Open late!

Oh my gosh.... DELICIOUS!! This seems to be the late night place for my friends and me. You can't go wrong here! Great service, open late, conveniently located, clean restaurant, comfortable seating and terrific food! Not all taquerias are created equal. I think some of these type establishments get a bad name. People sometimes think they will be lacking on service or quality of food, but not here. Everything is top notch and it is such a deal for the prices they charge. Every time I go, my order is so fresh, the cheese is bubbling on the plate when it arrives to the table. The chips and salsa are delicious too. Very impressed! I will be back and most ;likely with the same group.

You can go wrong here. Love it.

Nasty food. Everyone who says that is good, clearly never ate real Mexican food. The food tasted horrible. The chicken tasted old and the silverware and cups have bad nasty smell! Dont recommend this place. Food tastes old. A mexican restaurant NEVER has all the caldos available. Now that's real FISHY.

Best local spot. Cheap and the women take care of you. When ever I'm in town this is my spot. Ask for Wendy.

Their breakfast tacos here are always bussin, will always be worth the trip plus, the horchata is always on point. Service is always good and quick! (I've never had any issues but i do just go through the drive thru)

Neighborhood drive thru taco place. We get breakfast tacos and dinner tacos from here. Love the burrito with fries. The menudo is also good. We visit the place at least once a week.

Love the huevos rancheros and the caldo de pollo. Everything I have had here is good. I've been eating here for many years, starting when the one nearer me closed. Waitstaff is very congenial. It's very pleasant unless the Jukebox is playing. One negative: surely the owners could reinvest some of their profits into remodeling the dining rooms and bathrooms. Nothing fancy, mind you, just something more appealing.

Barbacoa and lengua are my favorite way to taco so when I come across a restaurant that serves a mean barbacoa/lengua taco, i add that restaurant to my hit list.

Taqueria Cancun currently stands in first place for their barbacoa and lengua. The tacos are 2 dollars, and you can see they ain't shy with the portions.

The agua de jamaica and horchata are top tier. The margaritas are around 3$ (trust me it'll hit ya). If you like delicious food, large portions for a great price OR if you like to support small local businesses then this is a restaurant for you.

I've been here three times and while food and drinks are ok. The service is horrible. The lady at the front who typically takes orders is beyond rude (black hair and darker that is shoulder length). She straight faces customers, and the waitresses just stare at you as you a to go order with blank looks on their faces.
All waitresses were grouped together and when I ordered a drink they didn't respond at all ? Then I said thank you after the lady handed my drink and I paid and she said nothing. Not a good bye? Not a your welcome? Nothing. Another one of my friends received the same reaction. I'm not sure what these ladies issues are but quite frankly customer service is everything! With this area being heavily populated with many other options in Mexican cuisine, I highly suggest you go else where. This place has a bad case of "mean girl" mentality! Don't waste your money.
