Tannenbaum Chiropractic

My experience with this practice so far has been excellent! Drs Tannenbaum and Fraser, their acupuncturist, Jay, masseur, staff - all top notch professionals. I came in a few weeks ago with both long time lower back pain as well as an acute flare up from too much heavy lifting at home. The team worked together to get me on a plan, I feel great now and am finally, after many years, taking care of my ongoing lower back issue.

The skill and bedside manner of the Doctors is of the highest quality. The acupuncturist Jay is phenomenal (and I've gone to many). The office and rooms are sparkling clean, very nicely decorated, comfortable and private.

The staff is beyond great. They get to know you personally, are incredibly warm, offer cold water, warm blankets and pads and even bake fresh cookies each day for the reception!

Two weeks before quarantine began in LA, I had a bad fall down some concrete stairs. I went to Dr. T, we assessed the situation, and began treatments. Since everything was shut down for so long in 2020, I got through COVID as best I could, and one year later (almost to the day) was the beginning of some of the most difficult moments I have ever had. I had intractable hiccups for seven months - I was in so much pain and so frustrated, and I ended up researching on my own what could be causing the hiccups for hours on end, because it is such a rare symptom (when it isn't caused by GERD).

ONE VISIT with Dr. T and Dr. Hana, and I was cured: No exaggeration. For anyone wondering if they should visit Dr. T's office, please take my experience into account. They fixed what an urgent care doctor, my favorite neurologist, a cardiologist, a psychiatrist, and an internist could not in 7 months, and celebrated along with me as I sat in awe and nearly ugly cried in relief.

I began going to Dr.Tannenbaum's Chiropractic office after I had a car accident and hurt my neck and back.

First, I cannot say enough about how nice the people in this office actually are. I thought I had landed on another planet where people are only kind and caring. Marci at the front desk, who is beyond sweet, even bakes fresh cookies throughout the day for clients. Dr. Tannanbaum and Dr. Hana call me at home in the evening to check up on how I am doing after treatments. They are gentle, kind and beyond knowledgeable.

During my first appointment I met both Dr. Tannenbaum and Dr. Hana, who after Marci at the front desk continued with genuine care for my pain and stress throughout the visit. I sat down and gave Dr. Hana historical medical data, and status after my accident. She took many X-rays and analyzed these and I was back the next day for an in-depth explanation of my back and neck and what the issues were, and were not. And then I began treatment.

I must say that in the early 1990's I went to a chiropractor briefly, and I stopped after two visits because of the pain this man caused. There was no pain from the treatment at Dr. Tannenbaum's. There was only relief and what appeared to be an ability to stay more focused and energized. I do not know how else to describe it. And they are gentle and so caring as they perform their adjustments.

I now go three days a week for treatment since my accident, and I continue to feel better and stronger after each visit. And truly, even without the treatments and the great results I am getting, I would stop by their office just for a refreshing "shot" and glimpse of true kindness and caring in this all too often stressful world.

With chronic back pain, I've been to a number of chiro's and spent the last year trying to figure out how to treat and get rid of some pain that simply wasn't going away with whatever treatment I've tried. I've always wanted a physical therapist/chiropractor combo - someone who can view things holistically as well as specifically. After only a few weeks of treatments seeing Dr T and Dr Hana, I feel significantly better. I then had a session with Jay for acupuncture and he did a thorough assessment of the problem areas and treatment and amazingly the pain was gone! Of course it will take more work and treatments for permanent changes but it was amazing for a first acupuncture session.

I like that they treat holistically - looking at issues thoroughly and recommending appropriate treatment to correct the problems and pain. I am so happy to have found Tannenbaum Chiro, it's definitely a healthier option that any medications, injections or surgery. Highly recommended!! Plus the doctors and staff are also really nice and there are fresh pastries and cookies in the morning :)

Dr. T is amazing!! Seriously. He always goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, happy and healthy. Whenever I leave Tannenbaum Chiropractic I feel better! Dr. T and Dr. H not only know what they're doing but try many different tactics to get you feeling aligned, they're very thorough and caring in their treatment.

Not only that, but everyone at Tannenbaum Chiropractic is very genuine and kind. They're truly seem happy to see you every time you walk in the door! They have parking downstairs and street parking on Wilshire and Palm, and it's never hard to find parking.

Dr. Hana has been my chiropractor for years and has helped me immensely with my my consistent back and neck pain. Not only is she a wonderful chiropractor, but she has a vibrant personality that makes you feel very comfortable. You can tell she truly cares for her patients. I have recommended Dr. Hana to many of my friends and family and they have all loved her as well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hana to anyone in need of an amazing chiropractor!

My back had 3 disks in bad shape and in months he had my Disks back where they belong and I am feeling better then ever. I am standing, walking,feeling better then I have in years.

Dr. Tannebaum and Dr. Peter are good chiropractors. No doubt about it. I was referred here (although I later found out the person who referred me didn't actually use them personally) , but anyhow that will be a question I ask next time.

These guys give gentle adjustments, plus heat treatments and other types of therapy. They know their stuff, no doubt. My only qualm is that I felt I was being subtly upsold on other treatments or slight pressured to purchase more treatments upfront (for a discount). Maybe its just me. I would certainly recommend this office, however they are probably on the expensive side. If insurance was paying for it, I guess I wouldn't care, but since they aren't, I guess I do.

I was in severe pain: shortness of breath and I couldn't turn my neck to the left. Within one visit, I was feeling SO much better! Dr. T is extremely friendly, talented, and provides an excellent office environment. Very lucky to have met him!
