Tacos & Carnitas Sahuayo

These are the best carnitas and prepared meats in Santa Ana! The meats are never too overcooked and taste amazing. Try the sorted meat plate which has carnitas, buche and cueritos. They are always very friendly and the price is reasonable. There is a small dining area if you prefer to have your tacos there.

Ok the little place off of Main Street in Santa Ana is always busy. The serve good Mexican food, but what we come for is the Chicharron.

They have the best fried pork skin / rind in the county bar none. It is cooked so good, but you do have to pick out the right pieces too.

If you ask for it and let the ladies pick for you, you might be disappointed, but come here more than once and look at the pieces you get the first time and when you come after that, you select the pieces you want based on your first experience and you will mot be let down.

The cook of the chicharron has been doing this for years and it is amazing watching him stir that pot.

One other thing. Normally when I come here it is the weekend and they are packed or very busy. I have been here two days in a row and noticed that it has been quiet, not busy and this is during the Noon hour.

I maybe onto something about the best time to come by, but need more research.

they had a guy inside set up with a flat top w carnitas and pork parts that looked pretty good, along w onions, chorizo, and jalapeno. $15 for a decent sized plate of food. pork had been sitting and wasn't great. chorizo very good. comes with a handful of tortillas.

Best Carnitas hand down. This spot is legit. Tastes just like Carnitas de Michoacán. If you want the real thing go to this spot.

Hoy compré tres burritos y le echaron casi puro arroz y carne. Nada de frijoles y la salsa no tenía nada de sabor. Nunca más vuelvo a pararme ahí. Solo fué un malgasto de $40.

De verdad me encantan los tacos de carnitas, pero que lastima que el único dia que los dan bien servidos es el Sabado o el Domingo! Entre semana la señora que tiene las sejas tatuadas siempre quiere darle a uno los tacos de lo que ella quiere y no lo que uno le pide! Como le pedi unos tacos y me estaba dando toda la carne llena de grasa y ni siquiera era de lo que le pedi aparte que parecia picadillo y todavia sobre eso los sirve con muy poca carne! Espero pongan atención en esto porque los cobran a muy caros pa el mal servicio que ofrece esta señora, yo en mi caso manejo casi 20 minutos para ir a comer rico y que triste encontrarse con ese tipo de servicio!

La verdad solo el nombre tiene que es de Sahuayo.. pero nada que ver, más bien es una vergüenza de negocio que se identifique sahuayenze!
Lo primero que les falta es la carisma y amabilidad del servicio que tenemos los de Sahuayo! Y puedo seguir con mas cosas malas que les falta pero asta ahí lo dejo..

Some of the most bomb tacos that I've had in my life! My coworker told me about this place and I finally got an opportunity to try them this morning.

I ordered two of the carnitas tacos since that's obviously what they're known for/do best. The tacos were full of meat, salty and juicy. Little onions, cilantro and hot red salsa sealed the deal. The tortillas were also very fresh and held the taco together well. I will definitely be back at least once a week.

This place has to be the best tasting Carnitas tacos I have ever had I highly recommend this place you will definitely not be disappointed I got two tacos beans and rice for only $10 and let me tell you they pack your tacos !!! They have a salsa bar bomb .. Family owned great customer service !! Thank you guys so much for the amazing food definitely be back again!

Carnitas not well cooked just the bare minimum still pink. only well cooked partially from the outside. If you like pink food then this place is perfect.
