We've found our new taco spot! My husband and I each tried 1 pollo, 1 carne and 1 carnitas taco. The resturant is a little hidden spot, very clean and they wash hands and utensils a lot. The tacos were amazing! Covered in onion and cilantro and were delicious. Their pepper sauce was so flavorful.

I liked the carne best, pollo came in second. The carnita was a little gamey for my liking but still really good. I had to to order another carne because it was so good.

We bought 8 tacos and 2 waters. Our total was $19.08. It was delicious, cheap authentic! We will be back for sure!!

Was in the mood for a quick bite of Mexican food this afternoon. I opted for the steak sopes and picked up a Jarritos to go.

Would I return? Maybe. The food wasn't anything special but the portion for the price was a lot. I also liked how many Jarritos flavors they had.

I ordered at the counter and my food was ready to go in about 10 minutes.

Service and atmosphere was great. I hope their food quality and quantity catches up to the pricing. 2 barbacoa tacos for $19 better come with beans and rice, bruh.

Usually, the best food for different ethnicities comes from the mom and pop shops that are not chains. Because of this, I often seek out the hard to find and often unknown locations. This is how I found Taco Loco.

Smashed in between a Chinese and Cuban restaurant, you'll find a quaint location offering some bakery items and a taco stand in the back. Upon arrival, you'll find you might be at a loss for for where to go. Without a sign, it's unclear you're suppose to walk straight back to the counter. Once you're there, the menu is quite simple. Tacos, sopes, quesadillas, flautas, tostadas, and menudo.

Meats include carnitas, asada, pollo, camarones, tripa, al pastor, chorizo, and barbacoa. Once you place an order, just sit down. They provide table service. You can choose any drink in the coolers (but again, it's not clear). Once the arrived (which is made fresh to order and takes a minute), it was pretty good. I ordered 1 pollo taco, 1 asada taco and a camarones sopes with a side of rice & beans. Flavors were on point but the rice and beans left a lot to be desired. There was a lack of flavor and the rice seemed like the frozen variety.

Overall, it was an ok place with AMAZING prices (everything is $2). I'd visit again but it wouldn't be a top pick. They do offer breakfast though! I'd be willing to try that.

Late lunch with my wife and I think we just found our new secret spot! The tacos we're great! We're going to work our way through the different options but man, hold on...we just ordered one more taco each.
Ok, so look past the decor. Go straight back to the kitchen. Order. Sit and wait to have some tasty authentic tacos.
The service is great! The ladies who work here make sure you get exactly what you want how you want it.

Store has no air conditioning..food is put on counters and some in steam trays. I spotted chicherrones! You know I had to buy some. I ordered 2 sopes and two tacos. One person working kitchen, package store and making food. Very clean, washed hands constantly. Great little authentic Mexican store and cantina. The doors are made by hand and cooked to order. The woman working speaks no English but it wasn't a problem. There's beef laying on the grill..im a little Leary and hope she doesn't serve that old meat to me. This is truly an experience. Ok now I'm afraid I was served the beef that was laying on the grill..i hope I don't get sick or anything. I will say this place does get business so with people only speaking Spanish this must be authentic. I'm experiencing something truly authentic today. The good looks delicious. I just hope it agrees with me. OK the chicherrones were absolutely DELICIOUS!! I am so glad i know where i can go for a chicherrone fix close to home. The small tacos were absolutely delicious even if the lime had no juice in it. Flavorful for sure. Winner of the meal were the sopes. Hand made delicious goodness!!!! I loved all three items and definitely do not think the meat laying out was any concern as i said there were several customers sitting eating at the counter that were clearly latin american and they didnt care or mind and everyone enjoyed their food like I did. I would return for sure. Just wish the air was working in the Mercado (i hope that means store...).
