T and J Soaps

This is a great shop fully of wonderful scents and sights. This is a great place to get gifts just for yourself or for others. The store is beautiful with the rows of colorful soaps.

I have gotten bar soaps, bath bombs, and jar candles and all have been fantastic. Theresa (the owner) is spot on with the scent profiles and the product designs! The bar soap scent even stays fragrant for the whole use of the bar - it still smelled great when there was only a tiny piece left.

this is such a cute store! the staff was so friendly and welcoming. i bought the oatmeal milk and honey and they smell amazing! they had so many nice bombs and soaps. i would come back here again!

Amazing soap and gift store in Troy. Theresa, the owner is so friendly and helpful. She always greets all her customers with a smile and is willing to help you choose the perfect gift. The shop itself is super charming. Her soaps smell and look wonderful and she has an ever changing array of seasonal scents along with her regulars. I am a fan of her handmade lotions, bath bombs and candles as well. I used to have regular, frequent flare-ups of eczema on my hands in the winter but since I've switched to her soaps I only rarely get one or two small spots that do not last long. I send her soaps every year to a couple of out of state friends and they always look forward to receiving them, they even started ordering them from her Etsy site.

Home made soaps, delightful gifts, and a friendly artisan owner named Theresa. I buy soap whenever I visit, and I receive soap from here whenever I'm home. Ginger Ale soap simply starts my day off with an invigorating feeling, so refreshing and soothing to my skin.

Why buy soap at Bath and Body Works when you can have wonderful homemade soap supporting a local business woman? I love the minimalist packaging, the presentation if it's a gift, and the small samples of soap that Theresa tosses in for free, perfect for traveling.

You must stop by this shop, pick up some gifts, take care of your own needs in the soap department, and know that you are supporting a woman who is passionate about her product.

They have a beautiful assortment of handmade cold pressed soaps. She also has bath bombs, soy candles, and lotions.

It is fun to come in here and browse. The soaps are so colourful and they smell great.

This place is LOVELY. My only regret is not having bought more. Their lotion is better than the tons I've been trying out and purchasing. I may live far but I'll DEFINITELY be returning soon.

I stumbled upon T&J soaps at the last Troy Night Out.

The soaps come in lots of different scents. I grabbed a Pinot Grigio soap. I've never seen wine in soap. Wine without the calories!
The shop offers seasonal scents, so if something is limited I would stock up.
Also, the more you buy the more you can save.

I used the soap this past weekend. It left my skin soft and the scent lingered slightly. There are candles, lip balms and homemade bath-bombs. I grabbed two of those- Cozy Chamomile and Victorian Rose. They smell lovely and making my workout clothes drawer smell so until I use them.

The owner Theresa introduced herself to my friend and I and we had a great time chatting about skincare. She was fun and gracious. In addition, made sure to state that if I had any questions please contact her.

I'm a huge eco conscious shopper, really caring where everything I buy comes from and the effect it has on the world and my body. I had a TON of questions for Theresa about all of the products I was looking at and she was able to give me a solid answer for every single one. She helped me to find the types of soaps that would be right for my body as well as a great sustainably harvested sponge. It was amazing to have so much confidence in where I'm spending my money. Highly recommend!
