Local to Des Moines, we love coming to this place. Speaking Spanish is a plus... My son (mi nino) likes the mini pancakes with just the syrup. I always get the bionico with mango and strawberries. It's the fruit with cream, granola, coconut, but no pasas...no raisins... My wife usually "shares" with me, which means that I get less than half.
It's a great place for dessert.

You want a local place with authentic Mexican treats like home made ice cream, elote, esquites and mangonada? If you're passing through the small city of Des Moines or anywhere near by come down and visit this place. I came in not knowing anything about what they served but they took the time to share and made me want to keep coming back. It was like going to a friend's house and them inviting you to try their food. I felt at home. The treats were amazing. Loved every bite. It's tucked away so many won't see it unless you're actively looking through this area but the locals are all loving it. Nothing but smiling faces coming out of this place. Make the trek down and support this local business. You won't be disappointed.

Staff is so nice! Very welcoming. Close to the water you can grab a treat and take a walk. Mangonada was blending to slushee texture and was amazing! Will go back this summer for sure.
