Sweet Carrot

Yeesh love this place! Stopped here on the way home from a road trip. Used their online ordering system and got there when they said it would be ready. It took 45 minutes longer than they said, but they ended up giving us the entire order for free because of how long it took and they were apologetic about it, so no biggie - stuff happens, especially on the weekends during busy brunch hours. We stopped by for their breakfast and brunch menu, which is available 9am-2pm on the weekends. Their online ordering system is easy to use!

Saw this place on triple D and Guy Fieri wasn't kiddin' - this restaurant is passionate and cares and the flavors are so delicious! Worthwhile and worth the way, especially since it was comped for us. They have a cute little patio and a gorgeous mural on the outside of their establishment. Pups are allowed on the patio!

Got their mac and cheese bites, their Chicken and Cakes ($12), Smashed Potatos Benedict ($12). Yeeeehaw! This was delicious. Didn't think it was too greasy at all, thought the flavors and the sauces complimented each other well. Also got a coconut carrot oatmeal cookie with frosting on it - YUM!

Their coffee was pretty good as well.

It's definitely worth stopping by once. I really enjoyed the meal I got here and would love to come by again to try some other menu items.

I stopped by Sweet Carrot for a quick lunch. Their concept is interesting: you can choose a base and a protein; I went for the organic kale salad topped with beef brisket. The salad was fresh and delicious and I'm not even a kale fan, but I would definitely order it again! The brisket was tender and flavorful, but the best part was that the salad was dressed with a scoop of corn salad and coleslaw; together they brought a fantastic flavor to this dish.

My partner got pulled pork on the corn cakes and was equally satisfied.

The staff was friendly and helpful! The entrees came to $9-10, but the portion sizes were huge; I think two people would be pretty happy with one dish. Overall, Sweet Carrot offers a great value, and I'll be back.

Sweet Carrot missed the mark for me. As far as BBQ goes, this was lacking.

This is an awesome spot for some delicious salads, some great barbecue and some awesome desserts! If you're in the area, it's a great place to do pickup orders for, or you can sit inside as they have great safety measures in place!!

I love their kale salad with pulled pork on top, and I always get the Mac and cheese when I'm here!

Love this little place! There's is a nice outdoor patio where our dog was allowed to come. The workers were so nice and brought her a water bowl. The inside has such cute little carrot decorations too! The food was delicious with lots of flavors! Guy Fieri has been here too! So fun!

The first delightful thing you notice is the green and white Sweet Carrot sign hanging out front - this is a vestige and a nod to the previous occupant at this location, Riffe's Market - an old original market place that had wonderful fresh produce! Thanks to the folks at Sweet Carrot for keeping the theme alive with a not to the past in their signage.
Plenty of delicious veggie options for those who like to find that sort of fare. Often one of the most difficult things for vegans, vegetarians, lacto-oval & pescatarians are menus built by carnivores who think they understand these eating lifestyles. Frequently those assumptions in the restaurant world fall short, but Sweet Carrot gets it correct.
They do cater and offer take-out so that is a big plus for people on the go.
Lastly, and this again goes to the atmosphere, on the outside wall you'll see a painted rainbow mural-like sign that reads "Love Thy Neighbor." And that should tell you plenty of good things about the life philosophy of the people who run the place.

OOOOOOH SWEET CARROT. One of my go-to's when it comes to eating good. Sweet Carrot can do no wrong. Kinda sad that they closed down the other locations, but hey as long as they are still in business I am happy. I have tried the salad, the corn cake and the sandwich. And I have been please with all 3 versions. My favorite is probably the sandwich, bbq brisket to be exact! But when I tell you that I am convinced that Sweet Carrot makes THE BEST MAC AND CHEESE IN AMERICA, I am not telling a lie! My whole family fiend for their crack...I mean mac and cheese! They also have Boylan soda on tap!!!

Sweet southern soup/salad/sandwich style joint.

Salads, soups and everything "smothered in ____________". I'm not a 'smothered in' type person. I'm more of a light and on the side saucer/dressing-er type. So I usually eat the salad plain.

I have been here a few times, mostly because it's across the street from work and easy for breaks, but for the dollar I'll drive elsewhere when needed.

I've had mostly just soups and salads all are very good. Their cookies on the other hand... ooo weeee buy the treats.

This place will leave your belly full and your face smiling as you walk out the door. The moment I found out Drew S. had never been to a Sweet Carrot before, I knew we had to go. Funny thing, I had never been to this location myself, so it was kind of a first for both of us.

We arrived close to 12:30 in the afternoon on a Tuesday and we were greeted right away by cheerful voices and smiles. The sun was out and everyone was in a great mood. Good vibes all the way. Once we decided what we wanted we placed our order, grabbed our drinks, and took a seat on the patio. At first, I pictured sitting here and regretting it due to the traffic. However, it really wasn't that bad. It was perfect for people watching and we were far enough away from cars that they didn't make things annoying. Our food also came out really quick. We dove right in and while my friend got the salad with pork, I got the mac and cheese with fried artichokes.

The food here is flavorful and they legit use good ingredients. While mac and cheese and fried artichokes are a fabulous vegetarian option, I will say that I can't order this too often. Its rich and delicious but definitely dangerous... unless you're looking to pick up a few pounds. If that was the case, I'd be here twice a week.

Point is - it's worth the hype. You gotta try it, at least once. I mean, if Guy Fieri says its good, it must be special!

I must admit I kind of stalked this place. I saw it on Food Network some months back and made a note to check it out the next time I was in Columbus. I was sad to see that the initial location I planned to go to had recently closed. However, I drove a little further out and do not regret it. As you can see from my pics, I kind of fanned out just a bit.

This place is so charming! I love the easy access corner location. We were greeted at the door and they all lit up when they found out we were first timers. Everyone working the front introduced themselves and explained the menu and concept thoroughly. Did I mention we showed up 20 minutes before close? That high standard of service that close to quitting time did not go unnoticed. I went with the corn griddle cake loaded w slaw, Mac, smoked turkey, and white bbq sauce. Everyone else in my party was boring and basic, playing it safe with Mac and cheese only. Boy did they have order regret!

Our food was ready super fast and they even offered us beverages while we waited. We took everything to go since we were late heading back to Cleveland. I will definitely make this a permanent stop when in the area. The food was very fresh and flavorful. Even the Mac and cheese goers had no complaints.
