No but I haven't gone to the Encinitas Swamis since the new owner/manager made it into a MAGA biker bar.

My husband wanted to check this place out so we arrived here at around 10:45 am. This was an early lunch, late breakfast for me. I decided to go with the breakfast burrito with fruit.

The seating outside was full so on the other side, there was some tables inside. My daughter and I grabbed a table while we waited for my husband to finish ordering. It didn't take too long before our food came. Waited about 10 minutes before our food came out.

My food looked good. I cut it in half and took a bite. It was filled with potatoes, eggs, cheese and sour cream. I was a little disappointed in the taste of my burrito. The eggs and potatoes were not seasoned and tasted very bland. I did enjoy my fruit. Maybe I ordered the wrong item?! The location was near the beach. The people clearing the tables were nice, but I was disappointed with what I ordered. I don't like bland tasting food.

I did enjoy the people watching and the views driving up here. That saved them from getting two stars. Overall I give it three stars. I don't know if I would come here again. Maybe I should order something different.

Worse place ever! Curry tofu was cold and tasted like it came straight out of a can. Friend ordered a veggie burger and they just brought out a patty?! The manager went on a rant about how vaccines don't work and had a sign promoting to Not get a vaccine. Wtf?!

Used to be good, now not a good place to go. They get your order wrong, and the manager?? is spouting off about how vaccines don't work... I guess you should go back to your regular job as a virology expert... because this place sucks now.

We've been coming to this area for years and passing by here for just as many. Hungry after a meditative visit to Swami's gardens across the street, this place was an easy dash to reach just before the lunch rush. Wow, what a delightful surprise!

Order/pay at the counter, delivery to your table. The weather was perfect for outside dining and the patio was ample with plenty of shade for our table. We had a club sandwich and a Swami's salad. Both were Ginormous and so good. The salad was pure joy with all kinds of fun fresh veggies - broccoli, carrots, green peppers, mushrooms, plus raisins, sunflower seeds, garbanzo beans, avocado, oh yes lettuce and a marvelous vinegarette on the side. Plus a thick slice of wheat toast. Sure hit the spot for me.

Nice chill atmosphere, a few dogs and some relaxed conversation on the patio. Self-service water. We enjoyed hanging out for awhile and chowing down. Finished off with a short walk to Hansen's surf shop a few steps down the way. Thanks Swami's - we enjoyed our visit and we'll be back.

Located next to the iconic Swami's beach in Encinitas, I had to stop by this popular cafe! We came in around 11 am for brunch and ordered their Chilaquiles, Eggs Benedict and a coffee. The chilaquiles looked beautiful upon appearance, but wasn't as stimulating to taste. The eggs Benedict were great and flavorful.

Apart from the food, they offer a wide variety of coffee types at their self-serve coffee barwhich were delicious and they even offered almond milk or soy milk as creamer alternatives to Half n Half.

Regardless of the chilaquiles being average, the ambiance and overall experience were exceptional. Will definitely be popping by when I'm in town in the future!

Hands down best smoothies in town. The customer service here is amazing as well. If you're having an off day, come here and you will be instantly greeted with happy smiling faces and good vibes that will turn any bad day around.
John, Kenzie, Hannah, Lucille, and Joe (to name a few) are always a sight for sore eyes and happy to help accommodate even the pickiest of the foodies w/ the most difficult requests.
Keep in mind people, this is a POSITIVE vibe/energy cafe. Limited staff, with a constant line doing the best they can to make everyone happy. Patience is a virtue, and sometimes people mistakes happen. GET OVER IT. Don't cause a scene if you asked for your bread not toasted on your Swamis club and they accidentally toasted it. They will happily accommodate their mistake but don't be a prick about it. This place is awesome and always busy for a reason. Try the Pitaya smoothie w/ peanut butter. You're welcome.
Happy dining, and come check this place out!

The original Swamis is still worthy of my business. Unlike a couple of the other locations, this one is only counter service. But there is plenty of seating inside, a covered patio outside, and an open patio facing the street. I ordered the tropical salad with salmon. I love all the fresh veggies! The salmon was cooked perfectly and served just slightly warm. On the side was some (I think garlic flavored) rustic toast. I ate that first and could not stop to take a bite of salad. (So much for no bread today!) I paired my salad with a tropical iced tea. Service was great and quick and the staff was friendly. My favorite of all the Swamis.

I have grown up eating here many times and it usually is pretty good. But I tried to go back after a couple years and I had a really bad experience with the cashier taking my order. He was very rude and wouldn't pay attention to me, continuing to talk to his coworker and interrupting me while I was trying to order. Also they had very poor management in terms of getting their payment and connection system working, therefore they told me after I ordered that my card couldn't go through because they hadn't gotten around to fixing their service issue for weeks. After getting excited to have a good meal there, I had to leave and go somewhere else unfortunately.

California omelet with fruit and rye toast - nice serving and well prepared. Very pleasant and efficient service.

Carlsbad location is not air-conditioned (I know, most places aren't, but it was uncomfortably warm the first week of September).

Not as clean as I prefer to see, but all around good place.
