Sue is GREAT and a must for new parents or parents who need a check-in on their car seats.

1. She is knowledgeable and knows her stuff! She knows great tips and tricks for car seat and overall car safety for parents and baby. Sue will teach you things that they do not cover in a 2-3 hour car seat class.

2. She makes car seat installation talk entertaining! My husband and I were laughing the whole time that we were with her.

3. She takes her time. If you have questions, she answers them and doesn't rush you.

Tip: She doesn't charge a fee, but bring her a donation for her time; I recommend at least $20.

Sue inspected our car seat recently and was wonderful. She is super knowledgeable about car seats, passionate and funny. She also has such a positive attitude and gave great tips on the seat, an awesome one pager of helpful notes, and taught us how to strap a baby in efficiently. I'm so glad my baby classes recommended her as a resource for car seat inspections. She is very responsive through text and doesn't charge for her services, but accepts donations, which are much deserved! I cannot recommend her enough! Thank you, Sue :)

Suzanne is very knowledgeable about her area. She responded quickly, was very flexible with scheduling, highlighted some errors we did when tried to install the car seat without her and gave us useful tips and tricks. Oh, and she is a very pleasant and a fun person too! Highly recommend her!

We completed a complex install for my three-year-old, confirmed our Subaru could do three across, and I learned a key aspect of installing Chico bases that I was not aware of.

This review has nothing to do with the lady's service, only because I never heard back from her to arrange such service. I texted her (as per her stated preference) one afternoon last week and asked for help installing my son's car seat. She replied rather quickly and said she was eager to help out and asked me for pertinent car, seat and scheduling details. I replied to all of her inquiries and waited for a response. .. .. It's now been 6+ days and not a peep. Luckily installing a car seat turns out to be rather simple and I didn't need her after all. Pro tip: go to YouTube! The instructional videos on YouTube (the manufacturer of our seat even posts their own videos) really simplify the process and the best part is you don't have to deal with, or pay, the unreliable "car seat lady!"

Sue came out to our house in Shoreline and checked the car seat in my car as well as the extra base in my husband's car. She was great! So helpful and informative, and didn't make me feel bad at all when it turned out I hadn't done it quite right (96% are installed incorrectly or something crazy like that). She also had some helpful tips as well as a one-pager leave-behind so I could refresh on the information whenever I want. Would highly recommend Sue's services!

We contacted Sue two weeks ago to come do a car seat check. Unfortunately, we never heard back from her outside of the automated text we received initially. If she wasn't able to come out, that would've been totally fine if she at least responded. I saw someone else posted a review saying she never responded to them either, too bad this is how she conducts her business.

Sue is awesome! I had had my first car seat (a convertible) installed with a technician at a fire station. Which was fine, but I didn't learn nearly as much as I did with Sue! She completely demystified the whole car seat installation business and was extremely knowledgeable about all the different types of seats and how they react in the event of an accident.

She also provided great information ie. about when to get your kid into the next step. She is certified, will come to you & works on donations, which are totally worth it. Plus she is a total character and is a wealth of knowledge on the topic of car seats.

Sue responded within hours and found time to see us within days. We met her in a local grocery store parking lot and within 10 minutes she had helped us adjust our new car seat, taught us how to better tighten it, and showed us a number of other really useful tips. I feel so much more at comfortable about our car seat now. I'd give her more than 5 stars if I could. She doesn't charge, but accepts tips. Not sure what was appropriate but we tipped $20 and it was worth every penny.
