rude, dismissive, inefficient front desk staff... condescending and insulting. ... ummm hi, you work in a medical facility!!!! expect people who are in their lowest moments and dont make it worse, ahole. no need to take anyone down a peg or 2 when they are already down.

Great care! I'm with dr. Hundel for the last 3 years or so. She is pretty through with helping you with what you need as for care. She has referred me to a specialist gyno dr, which I'll be seeing later this month. If she cant figure it out she will get help.
The gals at the front are always friendly and chit chat with you for a minute. Its clean and never crowded.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Anne L.Fairfield, CA98786Oct 12, 2018
I just learned today, after following up, again, on an oncology referral, that I have been dismissed from Sutter Health for all oncology/hematology. I never received the original dismissal from my first oncologist. Apparently, after I saw my PCP for another referral, because my existing oncologist was bought out by John Muir (which they failed to advise), I was blackballed by Sutter.
Sutter is refusing to treat a stage 3 colon cancer patient because I couldn't understand my Russian-born oncologist. They are collecting premiums and denying care. I went through the steps of seeing a PCP for a referral for an established disease that Sutter knew of for the previous 10-months. I chose not to let the PCP listen to my heart or lungs as I didn't deem it necessary for the referral. Wait...I'm the patient? Yes, I am and that's well within my rights not to submit to exams that I don't feel comfortable with. I was told I was rude for not wanting to answers already in my chart and that was asked by the nurse. How is that rude? That's failure to communicate on their part. I shouldn't have had to even see a PCP for an established disease that Sutter had already been treating. They are abusing the system and now that abuse has fallen onto me by denying any care at all.
I am allowed to choose my doctor. It is not out of the norm for a female patient to want a female doctor. Based on the medical terminology, it is not out of the norm to insist on a doctor whom I can understand, without the aid of her staff.
You can't reach anyone at Patient Advocacy because they are always in a meeting. I have not received any written notification of either dismissal; which is required!
I am only allowed to see a non-contracted doctor and they can't find one; so that equals no care. Carla, in appeals and grievances said the letter, that I was told about today, shouldn't have been generated. Yet, I cannot receive any care for my cancer because Sutter is denying all care to oncology.
So, now, I wait. If the anemia gets bad enough, I'll go to the ER. If anyone knows of a non-Sutter, non-North Bay oncologist, who might accept payment from Sutter, please let me know. My life hangs in the balance while these paper pushers pretend they are trying to help me. If anyone knows any good lawyers, please pass along this review. Sutter shouldn't be allowed to get away with what they are. They are literally trying to kill people by refusing to let them see any doctors they don't want them to see. That's wrong and should be illegal!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Marsha D.Rancho Cordova, CA03Jan 23, 2019
I have been a patient at this medical group for several years. I have several chronic illnesses that need to be monitored closely.
This cold/flu thing has been hanging around for more than 3 weeks. Called today, 1.23.19, before 8 am, to be seen by someone in the office.
The scheduler asks "what are your symptoms......oh and by the way, can you wait until 1.28 to see someone? "
Ummmm, no. I am sick. "well, I don't have any appointments open until 1.28" What do you mean no appointments? What are you doing with the patients who call in sick? "ummmmmm, I'm not sure" "I will have to email the back office for help"
I think I need to look for a new doctor.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Steve G.Springfield, LA72323Apr 2, 2019
Sutter medical group is very unorganized. Different answers from different people. You get the run around. All I wanted was appointment with a onconligisit. My doctor faxed over a referral multiple times. I will be looking else where for care

This has been the best medical experience I've ever had!
I had a 7am apt with Dr.Rezai to establish a PCP.
The woman at the front was very welcoming, she helped me with all the paper work that needed to be taken care of.
Dr. Rezai was really nice, went over all the concerns I had, and scheduled a follow up apt with me.
The medical assistant was very accommodating as well and helped me set up an online account with Sutter after my apt was over.
I had blood work done following the apt next door at the Sutter lab, the staff greeted me with a smile on their faces. Ben took my blood, he was awesome! No pain at all, and talked to me the entire time to keep me distracted during the process.
I would highly recommend this location, I've never felt more confident leaving a Dr. office.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Josh U.Citrus Heights, CA1132Apr 14, 2019
My family has been coming here for many years. In the last several months the service and bedside manner have been horrible. This is not the Sutter I grew up with. Empathy is gone. Sense of urgency is gone. Willingness to investigate and resolve your medical issue is gone. After discussing this with friends and family it may just be this office. Unfortunately, we've had enough and will seek care through another medical group. I advise you do the same.

I gave this office 2 stars because the ladies at the front desk are nice and the place is clean...and thats it!!! This place ALSO DOES NOT not have a lab or radiology facility so u gotta go somewhere else if u need tests done (whack)...DO NOT make an appt. with Dr. Christine O. Nguyen whatever you do!!! Shes a Beeyaaach!...The first time I saw her in December she rushed through my well womens exam, told me I could only talk to her about 2 things(wtf) and had a stuck up attitude the whole visit...I felt as if none of my needs were addressed properly...Today when I went in I got about the same level of care as last time which is HORRIBLE!!!!... I will never b goin to that office again. Please dont waste your time or money here!!! Go to Sutter Downtown or Sutter Roseville...
