If you think you enjoyed your cake and that's all there is to Susies...think again. If you order a cake with Susies, you'll get a phone call the next day by a personal Susie team member asking how the cake was. The follow up service from Susies is phenomenal, and I appreciate that they have this system in place for checks and balances. If you're a frequent Susies customer like me, I recommend downloading their app (must be linked to a debit or credit card) for rewards.

The only disappointment I've had with Susies is not being able to sample their banana chocolate chip cake. I'm a huge fan of banana, and would love to sample it, but the most recent times I've been in, they've told me they're not serving this cake as samples. While typically nothing disappoints me at Susies, I'd rather not spend money on something I won't enjoy.

Wow, just wow! SusieCakes makes the BEST cakes, cupcakes and cookies! We always enjoy the usual menu (tropical cake, celebration cake, marble cake and carrot cake) and love trying the seasonal items.

Not only that, they have amazing customer service! Their staff is friendly, helpful and quick.

Despite the fact that I've moved much closer to this branch now (only a mile away), I haven't had the chance to stop by to pick up some cupcakes or, my favorite, a slice of their chocolate cake. It's because the lack of easy parking. But yesterday, I had to because I needed to bring something to a small party. And as my hairdresser said, when going to a party, bring something that you like. So at SusieCakes, I bought some cupcakes -- Red Velvets, Chocolates and Coconuts to bring to the party.

And earlier today at the party, even though there were other desserts, the host and some guests tried the cupcakes. And they loved them!

I don't recall if I've ever had the Coconut Cupcakes before but I had them today and they are delicious in their own way. One of my favorites now!

Service at the store was-- as always -- very efficient and very nice. A notable point: if you plan to serve or eat your cupcakes the following day, they will wrap your box of cupcakes with a plastic wrap (e.g., Saran wrap).

I love this store.

(P.S. The cupcakes are a bit smaller now. But don't get mad. I'm sure they only want to have a decent profit margin. )

After getting some pizza a couple of doors down, we wanted to end our day with some dessert. Decided to walk over here to see what they had to offer. They have a great amount of cakes that you can order by the slice or an entire cake. They have cupcakes, cookies, and other desserts as well. Seems as though many people order to go from here as there were just bags upon bags of desserts ready to be picked up.
The inside is clean and well lit. The cases of sweets are well displayed. Smells in here are incredible. You smell the sugar and the butter in the air. The carrot cake looked so moist!! As though their were beads of liquid just coming off of it. It was also packed full of other ingredients. I decided to go with a slice of carrotcake. Unfortunately, they don't serve coffee here. But across the street, there's a Starbucks, and down the street close by, there's a coffee bean.
The actual carrot cake was amazing. Moist, decadent, not dense at all. The frosting was also really good. Sweet but not overly sweet. Had good form to it. The entire thing with a black cup (from Pizzana) was just amazing!! Had me in my happy place!!
Also had a chocolate chip cookie. It was huge!! Moist, lots of chocolate chips. Not dry at all. Would've been even better if they had a way to heat it up. But that's ok.
Yes, it is expensive. But considering location and quality, it's definitely worth it!!

SusieCakes is my go to for birthday celebrations! The first thing you smell when you enter is the delicious cake batter and red velvet scent. They have all sorts of flavors but I am obsessed with their red velvet cupcakes. The filling is just so creamy and sweet. I usually come by and order one cupcake ($4.99) but if I'm ordering for work, we get the 12 box assortment ($59.88). They do offer flourless and gluten free. Be sure to download the app so you can accumulate points to earn $10 off. Also, a birthday treat on your special day.

Susiecakes is delicious! We tried a slice of lemon cake and a slice of chocolate marble cake.

Slices were generous and easily shareable. The marble cake is wonderful for a chocolate fan and had bits of chocolate chips inside and chocolate frosting.

The lemon cake was very lemony and not too sweet. It was moist and refreshing.

I really can't decide which one was better because they are so very different. It really depends on what type of mood you are in.

The cakes tasted homemade and super fresh. The founder's recipes were passed down from her grandmothers. Everything is made entirely from scratch. The quality definitely shows!

I have gotten quite a few beautiful cakes from this place over the years.
Unfortunately, the last dozen cupcakes I purchased were really stale. I didn't pre-order them so I don't know if that had something to do with it, but I was very disappointed and embarrassed to serve them.
They are very nice there though...

Ordered a cake here for a birthday party. Very dense, thick, heavy, rich and EXTREMELY sweet. Like eating straight sugar and butter in a cake form. It's buttery and good but way too sweet. Cannot eat more than a bite full. Kids loved it though. Beautiful cake.

I stopped in right as they were closing. (I didn't realize) and they let me in! I love Susie cakes! They have incredible service and even better cake! I owe the staff at this location for saving the day today! Thank you so much I appreciate it! I hope I made it quick!

Not so great. Just ok. For the price ($66 for a 6" birthday cake), it was NOT WORTH IT. Never again.

Also, I think staff is told to tell customer that the cakes CAN be frozen but they don't recommend it. Why? Perhaps because if cake is not eaten in one fell swoop and is thrown away and this is regretted, the customer will have to return and buy another over-priced cake.??? Sounds like a programmed response.

I ordered a cake a day ahead and since my parents decided to visit and it happened to be my parents' and sister's birthday month! Ordering online was very easy, and on the day of pick up, they called to let me know it was ready and to make sure I was coming to pick it up.

My parents and sister thought it was such a nice surprise and loved the cake! "Not too sweet" is always the best compliment from asian parents and it was well received~
