Super Jock 'n Jill

I visited the Redmond location for the first time yesterday looking for new running shoes and it just happened to be during their anniversary sale. I was specifically looking at Brooks and Altra running shoes and narrowed it down to a couple of different Brooks models.

Two staff helped me and they were both extremely knowledgeable. I don't want to bore you with my specific questions, but based on their technical answers, I narrowed it down a shoe that would support my natural foot fall and provide stability for my road running, and let me tell you I was torn between a couple of shoes. I was glad the shoe I chose was more discounted than the anniversary 15% off sale!

I ran with my new shoes today and I am in love with them. The staff led me in the right direction. Thank you - Definitely recommend!

I parked in the parking garage behind the store (red 86? or something. It's an apartment complex) which says it needs payment, but if you're going there for retail parking, it's free (I called the employee at SJNJ just to ask).

Great experience. Jack helped my husband and I by giving us a pair of shoes to see how we liked it and the fit. He helped with determine our shoe size and then based on our feedback, pulled out different shoe options.

I wanted more arch support and ankle support and ended up with the ASICS GT-2000 11 for $150 pre tax and my husband wanted something more snug around the heel and got the Saucony Ride 15. He's was $98 pre tax because they price matched (same color and same size) to REI who is doing a sale right now! That saved us ~$40.

Each shoe selection process took ~15 minutes. Really loved their service and the price match policy. Jack also reassured us multiple times that we can try it out for 30 days (and that we should!) and if we didn't like them, we can return them.

This is my go to store for new athletic shoes or clothing! Recently I popped by for a second pair of sneakers, and again, the staff did a fantastic job. They always seem to make each customer feel like they are the only one in the store. They listen to what you want and suggest a few different options. Then give plenty of time to try on and walk around or even run around in the shoes.
I was nervous going to a store because of COVID, but I'm almost sure this place was cleaner than a medical office! I ended up with new shoes that were perfect, not even having to break them in! Woohoo. Thanks again Super J&J! Glad to have this small business in the area who know how to appreciate their customers.

Tried to come to this store while in town visiting and their store said they were open until 8 and arrived at 7:30 and they were already locked with not a single employee. Disappointed to say the least since we were only here for a limited amount of time and were looking to buy some gear for hiking the next day.

Fun fact: I am not a runner! I needed a walking shoe for an upcoming trip, and someone recommended Hokas to solve a foot pain issue I've been struggling with, and this was the nearest store that carries Hokas. I really expected it to cater to runners and athletic types, but when I walked in, I was immediately greeted, and the associate listened to what I wanted and set about helping me find the right shoe!

He checked out my current shoes for wear pattern and watched me walk, so he could see my gait and what type of shoe would make me most comfortable. He brought out three pairs to start, two Hokas and one pair of Brooks. It was actually hard to choose, they were all great! He was completely low pressure, no judgment, and completely attentive.

I ended up wearing the Hokas out of the store (they are seriously comfortable, if weird-looking, shoes), and he made sure to tell me that I should wear them a few days and then come back if there were any issues - because they want me to have the right shoes for my needs. It's not the kind of service you see in a lot of shoe stores, or shoe departments. First rate.

I've been a fan of Super Jock 'n Jill since I bought my first "real" pair of running shoes with them over a year ago. All their staff are very knowledgeable about running, and when I bought my first pair, Kaisa was able to look at how I walked/jogged and evaluate the right type of shoe with the right type of support I needed. It's pretty remarkable she was able to help me pinpoint the right shoe because now when I demo other brands of shoes during the Tuesday night running groups SJJ hosts with Sayaka, I still find the original shoe Kaisa helped identify is always my preference.

During the Tuesday night running group, SJJ invites vendors for us runners to demo shoes, taste energy bars, drinks, and gels, or even stretch and unwind with yoga after the run. Sayaka does a great job leading those runs with various routes on trails around Redmond. I've loved being a part of this group!

I recently purchased my much overdo second pair of running shoes to retire last year's pair, and my experience was nothing but great. The employee helping me showed me options and let me compare the newer model of my favorite shoe to other models to help me decide if I was going to switch shoe brands or stick with what I know. I love how when I shop there, I don't feel pressured to buy anything and get to take the time to wear the shoes and even run outside with them a little.

This is a great local business you'll want to check out for your running needs.

Best return policy. I came in two years after buying shoes here needing a different support for my shoe. I was intending to pay for a new pair, but they gave me an exchange without even asking.

I like very much this place. They are really knowledgeable about sports and right attire for them. Particularly running. They even let you know if something is going to work on you and why.
Staff is super friendly and always willing to help you. It is a small shop and you will have help if wanted.
They have very good pieces but not an entire variety because of the size of the shop I guess. But I will definitely keep coming. They are also perfect for running news, races, and little missing things for them :) Some races give you discounts in the store ;)

Maddie & Carl were so nice and so helpful ~ I was so impressed by their excellent customer service and product knowledge ...I ended up buying everything they suggested for me. I am very grateful that they both took the time to explain to me about the benefits of the products...I am very happy with my purchases. You can't really go wrong with any product they carry...this store carries the very best quality products. Everything in there is a good choice. Everything is so nice and designed for comfort & durability.
Maddie even went above & beyond for me....she found the size of shoe I needed at another store and had it delivered within an hour! How nice is that? I couldn't believe it.
I feel good spending my money at this locally owned business...you get the best customer service and the products are top notch.
