We love sunshine! Thank you for all you've done for our kids over the years. They love coming here and we feel completely comfortable with the care they provide.

We couldn't be happier with Sunshine Day Camp. The staff radiates genuine care and enthusiasm, creating a positive atmosphere that our child loves. The facilities are fantastic, offering a vibrant and safe space for play and learning.
The daily activities strike a perfect balance, keeping the kids engaged and excited. The emphasis on safety, transparent communication, and the inclusion of educational components make Sunshine Day Camp stand out.

Let kids be kids, you fools.

I have begun working with the School's insurance company who is willing to pay me back for some of the medical bills from my son's injury that happened at Sunshine Day Camp.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jul 17, 2018Previous reviewMy son went to Sunshine Day camp next to Valencia Valley in the summer of 2017.
While in their care, he got his finger stuck in playground equipment. His finger was stuck for over an hour before being taken to the emergency room. At that time, I was called. He had to have a fasciotomy on his finger due to how long his finger was stuck without medical intervention.
He was traumatized, in shock and hospitalized for a week. He had to do physical therapy to get movement back to his finger. He has permanent damage and scarring.
In the emergency room Sunshine was apologetic and claimed responsibility. However, they have not helped with any medical bills for the injury that occurred in their care. If Sunshine would like to amend this, they are welcome to contact me.
When you are checking out day care options, remember my story. My son was hurt badly and hospitalized and will have permanent scaring to his finger due to an injury that happened while under supervision of Sunshine.

First of all, this place makes you pay 20$ a day to be taught like 2 year olds and give you low quality food. please do not go here it is terrible.

My daughter has gone to sunshine for over two years now and we love it. She has gone for after school care as well as summer. During the summer of 2017 my daughter suffered from a ruptured brain clot and it left her unconscious and on the ground seizing, since her brain was bleeding. I can not thank Sunshine and their staff for the amazing efforts they provided in regards to helping my daughter. They called my husband ASAP and the paramedics. The paramedics were able to coordinate with the sunshine and landed a helicopter in their field next to the school to take my daughter to Northridge hospital. My daughter has fully recovered and without the amazing urgency of sunshine in handling this situation I don't know if she would be here today! We love all of the staff at sunshine and will be staying with them for as long as we can!!

Stay away, will never ever send my kid here again...They are there just for the money and are least concern about caring the kids out there!!
