Sunset Cove Waterfront Restaurant

Nice and relaxing place to eat. We want to correct the hours in Yelp - see photo of hours posted at restaurant. Friendly and helpful table server, Jake, also pointed us in the right direction for help with our outboard motor.

We had an enjoyable late lunch. My husband had a fish sandwich and I had steamed shrimp and Caesar salad. The waiter wasn't very experienced and was a little nervous but he was earnest and eager to please. The shrimp was very fresh and not overcooked. Everything was well prepared - nothing to knock your socks off - but satisfying. The view of the water is good, but the decor is dated and a bit too girly. They could clean up around the back of the restaurant a bit...but no big deal. I needed some fresh horseradish for oysters at home that night and they just gave it to me. Very gracious nice staff.

I'd like to come back and eat on the deck when the weather is nice. The restaurant is directly adjacent to a large marina owned by the same people - it must be really busy in the summer.

Good food and great service!! Very friendly staff! Best French fries in SOMD! The Blackened chicken wrap was really good!

My wife and I had a mid-afternoon lunch a couple of weeks ago. A little slow due to COVID, but our waitress was very friendly, the food was great and the view of the water capped off our day trip to Point South SP. It is a must go to.

We ordered take out over the phone. I was told it'd be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived 25 minutes later, and was told they were still working on it. I ended up waiting close to half an hour at the restaurant for my food to be brought out. It was pretty clear to me that they simply hadn't started cooking our food until I showed up. No one apologized for the wait or explained what happened.

As for the food itself, we had the crab dip and catch of the day (broiled mahi mahi) with a baked potato and coleslaw. The fish was over cooked and dry. The coleslaw was good, and the baked potato was fine. The crab dip was good, though very cheesy. Overall, not anything noteworthy.

Hidden gem! Smaller quiet place with great food and great prices! Will definitely return.

I happened upon Sunset Cove by referral from another local business owner in the area. The location, staff, and food are all wonderful! When we stopped in for lunch the server was polite and friendly and the food was delicious! The atmosphere is bright and airy and the view of the marina and water is pretty spectacular.

I also worked directly with Cecil from Sunset while planning the rehearsal dinner for my wedding. While I was unable to host my rehearsal there for personal reasons, Cecil was an absolutely wonderful and dedicated individual to work with. He catered a menu to what worked for our party and consistently kept in contact to answer and questions and to follow up.

Brides to be: You need to check this place out, you won't regret it.

Stopped in on Friday night for a quick bite and a couple of drinks.

Crabcake sandwich was amazing!! Good sized and not served with so much filler. Pizza was good too! They have a nice sized menu with good variety.

The views here are amazing. Only downside, we couldn't sit outside due to a wedding rehearsal utilizing the back, but will most definitely be back for that experience. I will recommend to anyone in the ridge/St indigoes/point lookout area!

The decor is out-dated but kinda reminds me of my childhood, it isn't offensive. You can see stained-glass mermaid side-boob here and there are lots of little costal souvenir-type things on the walls.

A family member keeps their sailboat at the marina here, so we ended up at Spinnaker's for brunch when we were visiting them. Service was ok, but just ok. We ate the breakfast buffet and it was also just ok. Nothing amazing but nothing gross either. Everything was hot and the eggs were fluffy. Considering we rolled in 30-40 deep (there was a wedding the night before) they did a nice job accommodating us. About half of the group sat together at 2 long tables, and the rest of us filled in the space around at the 4-tops on either side of the big tables. This is a large restaurant and seating capacity can handle a large group, but I can't really speak to the kitchen's abilities to push food out.

There is a large patio and we were able to see some osprey out over the water.

Very nice clean calm Maryland seafood restaurant and bar. Good food too. Great service from attentive staff.
