Sunroom Coffee

Such an interesting concept for a coffee shop, as it's attached to a church and everyone working here is a volunteer, with the exception of the two managers. The inside is wonderfully decorated, with a very bohemian and relaxing vibe. It's a nice big open space with plenty of indoor seating and an adorable high top bar area.

Their menu has lots of great coffee, tea, boba and smoothie options! I ordered the peanut butter, chocolate protein smoothie and oh my gosh was it absolutely delicious! Probably one of the best smoothies I've ever had from a coffee shop or restaurant. It was creamy and the consistency was just perfect, not too thin or watery. I highly, highly recommend this smoothie!

The young woman that took my order is one of the managers and was so pleasant and lovely! Even for being attached to a church, this spot is very cute and conveniently just around the corner from downtown Atascadero.

Today I got an oat milk, steamer with peppermint, and it was delicious! Perfect amount of flavoring and great temperature.

The staff is always so kind and welcoming. The answer all my questions and show genuine interest in my day.

The decor is tasteful, and there are lots of tables and accessible seating. I love coming to this coffee shop.

Love this place! Lots of space to relax or have a private meeting, good coffee, and super nice people working it. A little off the main business route but still very accessible from highway and El Camino.

Phenomenal coffee drinks (and non-coffee). The service is incredible. Very kind and welcoming. Great atmosphere. I recommend it 100%!

This is my "go to" when I want to meet somebody cuz it's so close to everything. Now that fall is here I can go back to my chai lattes!

I love Sunroom Coffee! It's a great place to go when you are having a meeting. It's very spacious inside and the décor is adorable. I love that they have a special spot where they retail secondhand items.

I enjoy their matcha latte because it tastes like Lucky Charms. They also have pastries available for purchase. They have a big parking lot so parking is never an issue.

Spacious, relaxing atmosphere. Excellent coffee! Wonderful service. I take my toddler here and everyone is very friendly and welcoming.

This place is an absolute GEM. I own a business so I'm always searching for a great spot to sit and answer a few emails while I sip some coffee. But like, the coffee has to be GOOD and the internet has to be GOOD and the vibes have to be GOOOOOOD. Well, Sunroom has it all. The staff is always really friendly and cheerful. The space and ambiance are clean, pleasant, and serene. I love how light and fresh it always feels inside. The coffee is fabulous - and I've tried lots of their different options. They offer the alternative milks and flavorings I like and their espresso is perfectly processed. They have Taste Test Thursdays, where you can try a sampling of one of their new drinks (and they're always innovating and creating). I've never ever had an issue with slow internet and I can always find a good seat because they have plenty of tables. It's easy to get to off the highway (both north and south) AND they have a tonnnn of parking! A++ experience.

This may not apply if you're just looking for a good coffee shop, but Sunroom also hosts unique workshops and music events. I've attended a couple with my kids and the staff is always fantastic and we always learn/make something cool! We've done a skateboard workshop, a music workshop, and a seaglass jewelry workshop so far.

This place is so amazing! Their menus is simple but has some unique items I haven't found anywhere else in town! Specifically mango popping boba and gluten-free muffins that actually taste good! The seating area is huge, clean, and aesthetic. The girls running the shop are friendly and quick. I've already come like 5 times since they opened!
