Sunnyvale Dental Aesthetics

I made an appointment as a new patient because I've heard great things about this office. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, made it really easy to get an appointment and signed in. The rooms were all clean and well maintained. Dr. Chung was my particular dentist and she did a wonderful job! She clearly explained to me what she found and what can be done to address these issues. During the cleaning, she checked in several times to make sure I was doing alright. I felt very comfortable trusting her.

In addition, my dental assistant Gretchen was exceptional; whether suction or rinse, or anything else the doctor needed, she was on top of it. Not once did I ever feel any discomfort throughout the cleaning. I can tell during her interaction with the doctor that they work seamlessly together and are always on the same page.

All in all, from the reception to the assistant to the doctor, my experience here was amazing and I'm planning to continue coming back (hopefully not too often though).

The best dentist in the Bay Area. Dr.David Meng is top class dentist with the highest degree of professionalism. The dental assistants are also very warm and welcoming, creating the best dentist visits I've had in my life. Their office and equipment is all high end and advanced as well. I wish my Employer didn't change the out-of network insurance policies so I could continue to have my teeth cleaned here.

I came in to see Dr.Chung for a regular dental cleaning and I was so impressed by the service I received by all of the staff here. It has been the most warm experience I've had at a dental office!

Dr. Chung is so sweet and professional. She gave me a thorough examination and made sure it was comfortable the whole time. Honestly, she's so gentle I could've fallen asleep!

At the end they sent me off with toothpaste, toothbrush, mouthwash, and even a tongue scraper--it was my first and I'm converted!

I miss going to this dentist. They no longer take delta dental insurance. It's been challenging finding a dentist with this skill level and an office staff as organized and friendly. My recent tooth issues would have been better helped here than at the new office that I go to.

It's been such a relief - ever since we found doctor Meng and his team all our dental needs have been met in a timely manner, with great care and always with a smile and kindness. It's not usual to look forward to seeing a dentist. It's been the case with all the members of our big family and the friends we referred. Doctor Meng always takes time to patiently explain what's going on, what the options are and refers us to best people in the area for more complex and necessary procedures. So far the surgeries like theeth extraction and root canals were successful and much appreciated. Everyone we met through Doctor Meng, we loved. We highly recommend Sunnyvale Dental Aesthetics to anyone who is looking for a wonderful experience with the dental needs in a beautiful atmosphere. The design of the office is quite spectacular as well.

Wow, another 5 star experience with Sunnyvale Dental Aesthetics! I'm so glad that my first experience wasn't a fluke and that they're just this consistently good across all their different hygienists and dentists.

These are a few highlights of what I appreciated in my recent encounters with them:

1. They stopped accepting my husband's insurance so they gave a discount to make the payments more affordable. Claims and insurance are a pain, but they were super transparent with us which in my experience is rare when it comes to payments with dentists. They told us exactly how much we would have to pay up front and they did all the paperwork with his insurance company so we'd be reimbursed for what we paid. I mainly appreciate how they make an effort to never spring a surprise bill on you and you'll always know upfront.

2. The hygienist was super meticulous with my cleaning. He kept giving me his thoughts, what I can try doing to maintaining oral health, and was just super detailed with the cleaning and not rushing anything.

3. The male dentist that came in afterwards was so personable and I liked just having a chat with him. He seemed to love his job and it's so rare to see that!

4. I tried to schedule an appointment at the last minute right before Christmas Eve and they had appointments available still at the time I requested. Still shocked!

We heard about Dr. Chung at Sunnyvale Dental Aesthetics through a friend and ended up taking our son here for his first ever dental appointment. It was easy to make an appointment and we didn't really have to wait long once we got there. The staff and Dr. Chung were extremely welcoming. At first our son was a little nervous, but he quickly warmed up to her. She was very thorough in checking his teeth and answering all the questions we had, and she did a great job at making our son feel calm while brushing and applying fluoride. Once she was finished the staff gave our son a prize (they have a bunch of great little toys to give kids). Overall great experience and will definitely return!

I called the front desk in the middle of a Friday (before a long weekend, of course) looking for immediate attention for my teeth. I was told they're at capacity that day but to leave my number in case someone cancels. As luck would have it, I was able to get squeezed in to their schedule. YMMV here.

I was seen and treated by Dr. Ta. I was pleased with her thorough assessment. She gave me clear and concise treatment options for my consideration. Her dental assistant there made me feel extremely comfortable during my "crisis" moment.

As always, great dental care @ SDA. The staff is amazing!

Following up from my previous review, I definitely appreciate how everyone goes above and beyond, so much so that i had to do a follow up review on this. Since my initial visit and review back in 2014, I've only been going there.

Overall, It's been a breath of fresh air to actually see great customer service from everyone and the dentist over-communicating on what's going on. It's hard to explain everything but you know when you feel it. The snacks in the waiting area are great as well. It's like a free vending machine in here.

From the initial call appointment, they were very accommodating with my schedule. To my actual appointment, I was greeted in the front and knew from the start the appointment was going to be a great one.
