Sunnyside Nursery & Garden Center

I love this place. The grounds are gorgeous with plenty of plants and flowers alike and the inside has a myriad of lovely little knickknacks and unique finds. I couldn't pass up this little tote once I saw it. The owner is darling and sweet as pie. I'm thrilled to have found this place, truly a gem!

David Austin Roses are here! They sell 5 gallon pot size for only $28.95! My husband and I drove all the way from Gaithersburg, MD, and we both loved the experience and the product.

This nursery is the David Austin roses (heaven) near me, and a friendly angel staff helped us to make our selections.

I was happy to give the business to a local grower but I'm going to have to give this place a one star due to the lack of knowledge of the staff. I told her clearly that I needed plans for a shaded area, hanging plants for a shaded area which she recommended. Just a week later and they're all dead. I don't expect her to be an expert but I can tell she wasn't really there she even told me she had a job interview later that day. I wish I could remember the name of the plants she recommended but I can't but I do know that I asked her for begonias because I was told they do well but she didn't have any that she knew of. Clearly she didn't know her own inventory.

Friendly and helpful staff. There are only two of them, but I went during the weekday in the morning, so there were no other customers. Love their indoor houseplant selection in two different greenhouses, and from what I saw a very wide variety of outdoor garden plants as well as vegetables. This place is beautiful to even just browse the plants. Love love love it there.

You 1st drive up to the place and there is gardening stuff everywhere. But then you walk around and find some very treasures. Was in search of a big vase and flowering plants to put on the front porch. Found a beautiful Blue vase and red flowering plants. Fred (owner) was so nice and full of life. Definitely will be going back to purchase some Bonsai trees. They have a huge variety of fountains, vases, flowers, trees, front/back ornaments, and so much more.

So many beautiful plants! I drove out there to buy some houseplants and I was not disappointed. I bought 6! There were so many to choose from and varied in sizes. I liked that I could pick out the smaller ones so I could watch them grow. There were plants there that I've never seen before! The man who worked there was very friendly and knowledgeable. He even gave me some tips on how to care for the plants if I began to see any issues, including some money saving tips. Although there were many varieties, I went looking for some specific plants that I did not see and wish the ones I bought were a little fuller. The prices were very affordable and I will be adding this nursery to my favorites list. I've already recommended it to a fellow plant mom!

We stopped by here this Fathers Day, just see what they had. They were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We left with a Celtic Cross for the garden.
