      I bought my 2013 vehicle back in 2014 and have never had any major problems with it, with the exception of normal wear and tear. I have always taken it in yearly for my annual free inspection and birthday oil change- never any issues, always been a happy customer. I have always thought myself pretty lucky to have made out with a great purchase, especially when I hear so many negative things about your place.

      A few weeks ago, I took the same vehicle in (now 6 years old, has 134k miles on it) for its annual inspection and an oil change and I got a call saying it would need $2500 worth of work done to it before it would even PASS inspection. This sounded odd to me because it was driving and running fine. Only light that was on was the gas cap light which has come on before and was a sensor issue (and was easily fixed and never messed with my inspection).

      So, I declined all work and took my car home. I made an appointment elsewhere to get a second opinion. The second shop calls me and says good news! Your van will PASS inspection with just 2 new wiper blades at $8 each.....so, $16 vs $2500?! HUGE DIFFERENCE. I even gave the second shop the print out from Sun Auto with all the diagnostics on it with what was said to be wrong with it!

      I was not impressed by Sun Auto this past time and word of mouth goes a long way. I was upset when I got the call at work being told it would cost me $2500. All my co-workers were trash talking your business and I kept disagreeing and saying "Nooo Sun Auto is great!" And now, I'm not so sure. I know I will be taking all future business elsewhere.

      my wife and I were in the market for a new car for a while and decided to give them a try based on them having some pretty great prices, as well as having a large inventory of Jetta's. The entire process was pretty smooth and you really didn't feel like they were trying to sell you something. This was insanely rare since that is exactly what most car dealerships do. We ended up working with Dave. I highly recommend you ask for him specifically. He is probably one of the coolest dudes we have met there and didn't make us feel like rushed at all.

      The only 2 issues that we had that I need to bring up are small, but irritating. The first issue is that the tire sensor bugged out right away and we had to bring the car back within a week. it wasn't a huge issue, but not a good thing. The other issue is that the paperwork agent in the backroom really pushed the warranties too hard. Like I know thats her job, but if you really can kill the sale if you explain how many bad things can happen to a car thats supposed to be in tip top shape and has good brand history.

      I purchased a used 2018 Kia Forte from this dealership about 6 months ago and got a flat tire yesterday. When I went to the trunk to look for the spare, there wasn't one. I called the dealership to ask about this and was told they don't include spare tires in their used vehicles. This is wrong! also, no jack and recieved only ONE key to car.

      Total ripoff. I bought a van. Has a 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. Had the vehicle in twice in the first two months for different issues. Guess what , each time they say it's not covered. Charged me over $100 to diagnose.

      I was also promised oil changes, I called today as they said " we don't do that anymore ". I told them they needed to honor our agreement. No luck. Not only that I was never notified about the loss if the oil changes. Totally bad customer service. Promised a lot and delivered on nothing.

      Unbelievable! Said I wanted a lower car payment so they thought I was desperate and maybe a little stupid. Offered me at least 2000 less than should for my warranty certified Toyota and brought up a credit score at least 40 points lower than it actually is. Offered me a 14!! Percent interest rate. They were very surprised when I let them know I know my credit score and interest rates. They are a little bit dishonest in my opinion. Beware!

      Place is a joke ! No communication between service and sales . Took a day off from work only to find I didn't even have the appointment they had already confirmed. You can only get key/ remote programmed one day a week when that is a day I cannot take off from work. They touched up paint on my 2015 and it looks horrible.
      Salesman says to text him, yet never responds back.

      Agree with the other 1 star reviews. I got a quote from Sun on some repair work and it was almost double what the actual dealership ended up charging me. After comparing the two quotes and looking at the suggested better business bureau review on these guys they won't even be considered to work on my car. I'll definitely let my friends & family know to. Buyer beware!

      I bought a car in 2007 from Sun. The dealer was nice, no pressure, no hassle sale. I got the car and drove it all over from NY to CO to CA I drove the car. It never broke down, never had one issue. I paid off my loan early and I own the car now free and clear. I really loved the experience at Sun and if I wasn't clear in CA I would use them again for a 2nd vehicle if I ever felt I needed one! My car still is awesome and they are a good company to go to if you are needing a car in upstate NY!

      I have been a customer for years and have bought several vehicles. Lately, however, the service has been lacking. I have called numerous times, left voice messages and emailed them trying to get an appointment for my free inspection. I have been promised a call back on several occasions. Since my inspection runs out next week I will be forced to go elsewhere. I think I may take all my business elsewhere if this is how "repeat customers" are treated.

      How this place has any stars is mind boggling. Look up bbb.org and judge for yourself not from friends and wives of the company. Better business bureau has multiple complaints from real people. Save your time and money. Bbb.org look it up. And your welcome. BBB.org BBB.org BBB.org
