This was my first time snowboarding and customer service could be better. Given it was my first time and the friend I was with hadn't been to Snoqualmie in a while, the man working at the window we approached did not look like he wanted to help us. He was not friendly, or very patient with assisting us with our questions.
One of the ski instructors that was walking through was much more helpful and pleasant to interact with though. We were able to get the confirmation we needed to our questions easily with him luckily.
Make sure to purchase your ski lifts online since they do not sell them in person!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 14, 2024
This is the closest area to Seattle for skiing and you can get here in 45 minutes (depending on traffic) without getting off the highway. That is a huge plus if you have kid(s) and equipment. parking can get a little hectic at Summit West (where I usually go) unless you get there early. The slopes are fine, there are some beginner runs and some black diamond runs. The lodge is ok, with a good view of some slopes and a bar upstairs. The cafeteria gets packed at lunch so go early or go late to avoid the rush. If you bring your own food, the downstairs area also gets packed with people reserving their spot early in the morning. Unfortunately there is no cell service signal in the basement. If you want an easy place to go ski from Seattle, this is it. Definitely buy your ski pass in advance online as they may run out of them on the day you want to go.

The lodge at Silver Fir at The Summit of Snoqualmie is probably the best of the best on the mountain. But, let's be REAL... the bloody Mary's are KILLER! Sometimes you get a slider - or a taco on top! Brandon the bartender rocks the Universe! They have great choices for food and some healthier options than the other lodges. I love how spacious the dining room is. This place is so clean - very clean and warm bathrooms! Also such a nice place downstairs to put your boots and ski gear on! Everyone here is so kind - and the rental room has such a kind and helpful staff! This is the lodge to be extra comfy if on the mountain! I love the female bartender over at East too! I have to give her a huge plug! And the guys tending the chaos at central are awesome too! They are world's best multi taskers b/c that crowded place is a fun rollicking sh** show and they run it well! West has AWESOME live music and comfy chairs upstairs in their lodge and it's enchanting for night skiing!

This is a locals area for Skiing and tubing. My brother took me up here for a day and we had a great time. Playing in the snow is a real trat for this Florida resident. This is not a world class destination resort but is a great locals area.

Wow, what an amazing time we all had!! We visited the tubing park and it was so well done.
The check-in was so smooth/quick, grabbing tubes was seamless, and the lines were so manageable. I am so happy the sessions were not overbooked, as the lines for the magic carpet and the lanes moved so quickly.
Staff was so friendly, and we all had such a blast.
We went for a nighttime session, and the fun lighting made the experience so much more exciting! Plus, tickets are so affordable.
HIGHLY recommend for some winter fun!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Maram S.Newbury Park, Thousand Oaks, CA01Mar 1, 2024
unfortunately we had bad experience with them.
we purchased tickets for our kids in December 2021 it was around 1500$ but never used it because of emergency family matters, bad weather etc. I called them on dec 2023 if I can take my kids for 1 or 2 times to the snow and reuse some of our tickets but they refused. I never asked about refund or return some of the money back or let my kids go for free, and when I called the secretary of the owner of Summit ( Guy Lawrence) she was not friendly at all to listen or to understand the situation or at least to talk in a nice way( I totally forgot her name)..Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael R.San Francisco, CA024Jan 7, 2024Updated review
Update: unfortunately this year looks to be even worse in terms of long lines than last year in. It takes half an hour after every run. And good luck getting parking if you aren't there at least half an hour before it opens. It's too bad, because the slopes can be really fun if they would just limit the number of tickets they sell each day.

60 miles from Seattle is a beautiful area known as Snoqualmie Summit. I learned how to ski on these mini slopes as a child, my vivid memories on the bunny slopes watching my gloves smoking & burning burning from the rope toe are etched in my brain and palm of my hands. As an adult I pull into the summit for a pitstop and grabbing gas , meal and a cocktail at The Brew House during the summer months.
For those who've made the I-90 trek east or west you know this place. I'll never forget it and I always enjoy hitting the top of the mountains..

I mean!! What's not to like.
Whistler isn't that far / sometimes equally as far with bad weather and traffic, this place still does the job. You can get season passes, ski passes, take lessons, come tubing!
They have one of each here. One restaurant, one bar, one breakfast spot across the street. A few bathrooms. A ton of kids classes too.
And right before they open: thanksgiving, you might find me and Baci here. Its our tradition! It's the only time he can visit. So we'd brave the icy roads for it. It can get overwhelmingly crowded at times but with covid, it's getting better. Plus, who doesn't love fresh beautiful and ice cold snow mountain! Even if you're not a skier, you should visit at least once!Helpful 24Thanks 0Love this 28Oh no 0 - Feb 12, 2022
We had so much fun in the snow at Snoqualmie. This was our first option to play in snow but they didn't have the tubing section open on a Monday. Since Hurricane Ridge was closed we opted to come here the following day. Purchase your lift tickets online prior to showing up. Getting our rental gear, helmet & a snowboard was easy peasy no hassle. I brought my own ski goggles. There is a store that sells snow gear if you happen to forget any gear but I'm sure the prices are high. Most of the lifts we seen weren't operating. The one closest to the lodge was open. So we hung out there after playing in the snow. If you'd like to snowboard but have kids in tow, there is a kids play behind the rental bldg. you can see it from the road. They offer snowboarding and ski lessons. My toddler was a bit too young and is still in diapers so I didn't sign him up. I did see little ones his age learning how to snowboard and ski though. We are already planning our stay at the lodges and my oldest will return to snowboarding lessons again until he is ready to come on the bunny slopes and black Diamond with me.
I'd say the cons here is that to just free play in the snow, you had to drive a mile down. $25 per vehicle. And secondly, the food and drink prices were pricey. $15 for soup only no bread. $5 for hot cocoa. $9 for a truly drink..Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0
