Still a great place to hang out! Plenty of seating in the back room, front area, or side patio!
I don't get why it's never super busy - this is such an awesome spot to come with a group.

We went on the patio area, and there was another group of 5 people drinking but plenty of seating area to go around. We didn't hang around for long, as the worker was approaching our area to clean, but I would definitely return!

I've been here quite a few times, but this brewery has never quite nailed it for me in the past. I'm not sure what it was that had me pass up Sumerian for other breweries, but I'm pretty sure it was just me.
The classic "it's not you, it's me" line.
I've visited a few times since COVID and I have to say this place has either improved greatly, or I've just recently seen the light. I'm thinking it's the latter.
They have some really solid beers, including an award-winning double IPA that is great and dangerous all at the same time.
They also offer snacks without a full-blown kitchen, so you can always bring food in if you so desire. And they have a ton of indoor space and a patio to ensure social distancing.
But what I like best is the service. The bartender the last few times I've visited has been awesome. I didn't catch his name, but I feel much more welcome here than at some other breweries in the area since they're very welcoming and willing to explain and offer beers that suit your fancy.
Triplehorn is another gem in Woodinville for both beers and service, but many other breweries don't quite nail the great service like these two breweries do.

Second time here!
BEER: The menu is mostly IPAs here. If you want something lighter, your options are cider or wine.
FOOD: Food truck was there on a Friday evening and you get 10% off Zeek pizza deliveries to here!
LOCATION: Lots of parking, but it's definitely in an warehouse/business park.
VIBE: Lots of people on a Friday night. Many meet-ups choose here, like local VW car enthusiasts and groups from Meetup.com.

-Brewery is in a commercial area, so it has lots of parking... and you can keep an eye on your car as you drink, because the outdoor seating is in the parking lot. We thought it may have a nice outdoor view since it looked like it was close to the river on the map, but unfortunately nope.
- We got an IPA and a pilsner, and we weren't a fan of either beer - found it too watery.
-I really appreciate that it's a local brewery though and they're out here adapting, running a business during a pandemic! - Jul 13, 2020
My wife and I met a couple of friends at Sumerian for a couple slurps before heading to lunch.
Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Family friendly brewery. Sumerian paraphernalia is available to purchase.
Sumerian is following all Covid19 guidelines. Hand sanitizer can be found throughout the brewery.
Sumerian has a large outdoor seating area. A large projection screen can be found indoors. It was off during our visit. Board-games handy for those wishing to play. The watering station is self-serve.
Sumerian offers a very limited menu of snack type food. Outdoor food is welcome.
During our visit, my wife slurped on a couple Lucidity Pilsner's for $6 each. I slurped on a couple Narcissism IPA's for $6 each. I purchased a 6-pack of Holy Water IPA for $8 to take home with us.
Overall, Sumerian brews some tasty beer and offers a laid back atmosphere to enjoy a couple pints. Staff was friendly. I look forward to returning in the future.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 11432656252Dec 8, 2019
Inventive, hop-forward beers in Woodinville. I'm a fan of Sumerian Brewing and have had their beers in restaurants, so I was eager to finally check out where all the magic is made. My friend and I came here half an hour before closing on a Saturday, and we had a great time, sampling different brews.
My friend and I visited Sumerian to redeem an offer from the Woodinville Passport, which granted us three samplers of anything from the menu except the cider, since it was a guest tap. Cool with me. I ordered the double IPA, a hazy IPA and a seasonal one called, "Go Scrooge Yourself."
I really enjoyed all of my beers, even the hazy IPA, which most of the time, can be too light for me, compared to other breweries. But somehow, Sumerian Brewing makes it work. All of the beers were full of flavor, and most of all, they were all hoppy, which is how I like my brews. Of all the beers, I loved the double IPA, for its strong hop flavor. And I was happy to see that they had a handful of IPAs on tap. It was my kind of brewery!
Space was spacious enough, and can accommodate large groups and dogs! Parking wasn't an issue, as it's located in an industrial area, neighboring wineries. If you're a fan of hoppy beers, Sumerian Brewing in Woodinville is one to check out.

Came here for a group event on a Saturday night and loved the beers and the vibe. Corey and the staff took great care of our party of 40. Great location for an event and the selection of beers were excellent my favorites being the Holy Water and Marionberry Cider. Thanks again!

I just have to say, this brewery is TOP notch. During COVID they have done everything to get their beer easily to their customers including great pricing as well as fast and friendly customer service which includes curbside delivery. I can't wait to be able to go back into the tasting room and sit and enjoy a beer at the brewery, but for now I will support them with buying their beer curbside. Thanks for all you do! Kathie

There was a food truck outside cooking pizzas to purchase for anyone that was hungry. The brewery does not have a kitchen but does have lots of great seating and great beer. I enjoy Sumerian and will be back soon.

This business doesn't want your business. They also are dishonest. See below.
Due to the pandemic we were calling ahead to make sure every place was open. When we mentioned we were Woodinville Wine Pass holders they said they stopped honoring that during COVID. That's pretty insulting. Well we happened to be walking by as we were going to another place. I poked my head in and asked the man running the bar about the Wine Pass and he said they'd honor it if we bought something. Um, hello? We did buy something, we bought 2 Wine Passes and the brewery got money from it. After they changed their story and were rude to infer we weren't already paying customers, we left. We won't be back. I am contacting the Wine Pass to let them know they are stealing from people who bought the Pass (Sumerian Brewing got money from those sales).Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Feb 27, 2019Updated review
We heard they have drone racing but have yet to go to one so this review might change after we see see one. It seemed like it could have been a pretty active place but was pretty quiet when we were there. The beer was good but their pretzels were a bit doughy for me. One thing to note when driving in is to take a left to get to the parking since if you go straight or right, it is completely blocked off and you have to loop around to get there

Pretty good beer - though their selection was heavy on the IPAs (which don't tend to be my jam). I liked the availability of affordable snacks, like their $3 soft pretzel which was delicious and their many different flavored mustards/sauces to go with.
