The entire staff was extremely friendly! The facility is beautiful and everything was super clean. There was no wait time - as soon as I checked in the entire process was a breeze.
Dr. Caesar was AMAZING! His work on my smile was beautiful and I couldn't have asked for a better orthodontist. Highly recommend!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 7017262Nov 15, 2022Updated review
The latest update, it's been a journey to work with my son's baby teeth, bite, and other irregularities, but today he got his new braces! As always, best service, smile, and these folks really are great with kids not just because they have to be, they just really are - my son had no fear and all went well. My son likes Dr. Ceaser and Dr. Ceaser is excellent at working with kids at each of their age levels. We're uploading our first pic and a few later when he brushes w/his new braces- he wants to show his new smile.
WOW! That is all I can say. Dr. Ceaser is awesome. My son needed his smile desperately configured. He still had baby teeth at 14, many teeth impacting other teeth coming in and his bite was very low to his bottom teeth. We've been going here since April 2021, a little over a year, and in 3 weeks my son is going to be ready for his braces. His bite is corrected greatly, he no longer has to wear a permanent retainer in the top of his mouth, his baby teeth are gone, his impacted teeth are near all the way in, and all of this with zero pain, and a great rapport with my son. Did I mention the rapport these orthodontists create with their patients? The work, thus far, is phenomenal. If you're on the fence, just say yes.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Thank you so much for your great review Carolyn! We strive to do everything with uncompromising excellence and we're glad to hear you had a great experience with us. We are very much looking forward to working with you and your family!
Aug 14, 2020Previous reviewI was recommended to send my son to an orthodontist for review. Fortunately, we found Stone Oak Orthodontics via Yelp. The staff and especially Dr. Ceasar and Dr. Tito are both very approachable and thorough. They immediately put my son at ease. The staff goes beyond to assist in every way re: treatment and payment options. My son still has baby teeth so we have a way to go, but we now have the bite-plate and are looking forward to my son's beautiful smile! I highly recommend Stone Oak Orthodontics.

These guys are aces! They didn't need to see me, but made space and but did the work my teeth needed, which were absolutely essential to be done the same day as reconstruction work. Very professional & proficient and friendly as well!

My daughter started her braces journey a couple of years ago and although there have been challenges on her end, there has also been missteps on behalf of the office. She originally had an expander and was expected to do rotations everyday. We went once for a follow up and there was no movement. My daughter and I were scolded for not following directions to which I confirmed I knew she was doing her rotations. We came back weeks later for a progress update only for them to confirm the appliance itself was defective. The ortho had mentioned to get her consulted by her pediatrician for her tonsils to which I did and they had no concerns. Fast forward to a more recent appt where they suggested to go to an ENT to have her tonsils removed. They were disappointed in the progress and set my daughter's next appointment as a new patient. For that matter I'll just go somewhere else as a new patient that will be encouraging and diligent.
The staff up front has always been pleasant but in the back is where the judgement usually takes place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Audra Leigh D.San Marcos, TX12572Dec 22, 2020
Today I saw Dr. Cesar to talk about my new trays. In 2017 I had gotten Invisalign and everything was going great! But somewhere along the line I was diagnosed with MDD and completely off. Well fast forward and it took awhile but I feel better. And I was honest with them this appointment and at the end the Dr actually congratulated me for overcoming my depression and it honestly made me tear up a little lol. They worked with me and next appointment I'll be getting a new set of trays! This review is for anyone who might have been in a similar situation as me. I also love the receptionist she's never rude and always very polite. Thank y'all so much!

Please do not send your child here if they have any anxiety related to dental work or orthodontic work. The entire staff gets very frustrated if your child begins to cry or has issues with anxiety regarding their procedures. The office manager is overbearing and tends to push boundaries. My daughter has a history of anxiety over dental work due to a horrible experience when she was younger. Eight years old we were advised by both of the dentists hear that she needed extensive work including an expander and braces on both the top and bottom. We were told initially that they did not use nitrous and scheduled an appointment hoping that they would fulfill the promise of working with her on her anxiety regarding all of this. The day of the appointment came and my daughter was crying and scared, they advised us they did indeed have nitrous but it was at a different location. We had to again schedule another appointment and take time off of work. The appointment was scheduled again at the location with the nitrous and when we arrived not one person introduced themselves to us, they walked us back to our chair and left us there, the dentist came by and immediately said "we had problems last time and rolled his eyes and then walked away. I was there for an hour with my scared anxious daughter and not one person came to check on her, reassure her, show her the equipment, explain what they were doing; it was an absolutely horrible experience. We wasted months with this office and now my daughter is in danger of losing some permanent teeth. We transferred care to Dr. Reddy and within one week my daughter had her braces placed with no anxiety or worry. The staff with Dr. Reddy is far more professional and patient with younger kids or kids with special needs

WOW... first of all i want to say that the STAFF is AWESOME!!!
We decided to switch our Orthodontist to Dr Tito before we committed to braces... we had been seeing another orthodontist in the area but our old Orthodontist was VERY slow and we were never seen at the time of our appointment.
Dr Tito and his staff are VERY friendly and VERY punctual when taking care of their customers. We showed up to our appointment 5 minutes early and my daughter was taken care of right away... talk about a streamlined operation going on. Time is money and you will NOT spend much time in the Drs office with this orthodontist. So no more missing multiple hours of Work and School just for a 30 minute procedure!!!!
And they have massage chairs in the lobby and a kids waiting area with video games while you and your other children wait on your child being seen!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Audra S.San Antonio, TX012Aug 11, 2021
First I will say Dr. Tito and Dr. Caesar are absolutely amazing! My biggest frustration is with scheduling. My daughter who has been in braces for at least 13 months was ready to get her braces off and when we went in they said they over corrected the visit before, so it took us another eight weeks to get back in. Unfortunately the only appointment they could give us is with her missing the first weekend of school, they did call for cancellation yesterday, but by the time I called back they had already given it away- it's frustrating to schedule at this office. I also have another daughter whose teeth are slightly crooked and they said it's going to be 18 months and for the same amount, and my youngest so looking at other options especially due to scheduling at this office- but the doctors are wonderful.

Professional in all aspects. Worth your time and money, as these providers are both experts and leaders in their field.

When calling that day to update on my arrival time, I was told that they would no longer be able to accommodate me. It was suggested that I reschedule another appointment for TWO WEEKS later, at a location almost 30 miles away.
I've heard great things about Stone Oak Orthodontics, and I'd admonish those who have a flexible schedule to give them a chance. But unfortunately, they don't seem to be too receptive or flexible in their scheduling, particularly with everything going on in the world right now; and understandably so.
However, as a consumer, there are so many other providers that set a standard of flexibility in hours for their patients. They are malleable in their customer service endeavors, and receptive to the vast schedules that their patients may be subject to. Stone Oak Orthodontics informed me that they don't even open on Friday-Sunday. If you are lucky enough to get in, I'm sure that you'd have a pleasant experience - but unfortunately I just had my time wasted, and given the runaround during the whole experience.
My suggestion? Go to one of the many other orthodontic providers in the area. There is enough of a competitive market in San Antonio that you'll be able to find somewhere more flexible, probably more affordable, and with just as talented providers as at Stone Oak Orthodontics. - Marissa F.New Braunfels, TX30102Sep 7, 2020
Am I overreacting, or do I have the right to be annoyed? My daughter had braces here from the age of about 9 to 11... after her 12 year molars came in, they shifted everything and the same orthodontist fitted her for braces from the age of about 13 to 15. She's now 18 and I took her in (to the same orthodontist office) to get another retainer and I mentioned that it looked like her bite is different so the tech called the orthodontist into the room (her original ortho wasn't there that day) and within seconds he diagnosed her with a tongue thrust - apparently some ppl will push against their teeth every time they swallow causing their teeth to shift. So they want to refer me to someone who will train her to swallow correctly (think physical therapy for your mouth) AND we need to have braces fitted again for six months at a cost of over 4 grand - but since I'm a returning customer they will be nice enough to give me a discount of about 2 grand. Am I wrong to think the orthodontist should've checked this the first time she got fitted or even the second time she got fitted... they sure did diagnose it fast enough after this last visit, idk how come they didn't bother to check it before I spent an insane amount of money for the first two rounds of braces....
*edited to add- everything I've read on this condition states it starts in infancy, so there's no way she didn't have this issue the first two times she was fitted with braces.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
