Stewart Roofing

Opps! Wrong Stewart Roofing. The one I am complaining about is in Sumiton!!!I signed a contract with Stewart Roofing in April of 2011. They finally said they would come out and put on my new roof but they would have to have half the contract amount paid down first before they would start. Well I got in touch with the insurance company and they sent me more money so I could pay Stewart Roofing. That was in August of 2011. Then in December of 2011 they showed up at my house and ask me which half of the roof I wanted roofed! Well I told them I wanted my money back and they really tryed hard not to give it to me but I told them I would track them down until I got it. So the owner met me at noon, 40 miles from my work, and gave me a check. Told me I was a real problem and I was what gives roofers a bad name. I am the one being patient and waiting on them to come out but it took forever. Then they only wanted to do half the roof. Said that is what was quoted on the contract but nowhere did it say anything about doing only a half roof. I have never heard of something so crazy in all my life!
Never use these people! I think if I hadn't told him that a friend of his recommended him, he would never have given me my money back!
