Great service. Food is good. Well stocked bar. A bit pricy. The building needs a little TLC.

Steventon's is a staple up-scale restaurant in the Quad Cities that is well worth the visit. While the interior ambiance left a bit to be desired, the picturesque setting overlooking the mighty Mississippi makes it a truly special place.
The quality of the food and service were exactly what you expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Our waitress was very attentive, and everyone had a great meal (I tried the duck).
We would highly recommend the crab rangoon dip appetizer - it was a crowd favorite!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ray Z.Denton, TX131314Nov 6, 2023
The minute our party got there, we were greeted with a sign saying happy 1st anniversary. From the appetizer, the salad, the main, and the dessert, everything was spot on. The service was impeccable. Will definitely be back.

Great setting with a nice view of the river and our hostess and waitstaff were great. Food was mediocre and very slow to come out.

Beautiful place, wonderful food and atmosphere but very, very pricey for this region. We live up the hill from it, it has great views. A wonderful place for special occasions but too pricey for just going out for a meal.

DO NOT GET THE PORK CHOPS OR SIRLOIN!!! Pork chop was dry and probably overcooked, not edible, sent it back for the Top Sirloin(med rare) which was also equally garbage. Fortunately someone else paid for the meal, so I just gave up and let the waitress throw the food away without addressing the garbage they were serving. Also, staff seems fairly nice, but they are absolutely not trained at all on recognizing and satisfactorily solving situations where the diner is aware of the low quality food they are serving. The server should have absolutely commented that the sirloin is not going to be any more tender and recommended something that was a non-beef based product, because they are obviously getting their meat from the absolute cheapest supplier, probably Sysco. The owners should be ashamed of themselves for the quality of meat they are subjecting their customers to.

Through the years eating there I have yet to find better food, wait staff, patio and that million dollar view

I make it a point to never stop searching for the best steak I've ever had in my travels, and I can tell you this is the best filet mignon (medium rare at its best) I've had in 10 years. I finally got a chance to try them on my last night in town. It's one of those steaks you start cutting into smaller pieces so you can enjoy more bites. I was looking forward to what I was told was equally good desserts! However, and hence the 3 stars, despite only I believe 4 other tables being occupied, I sat for genuinely 18 minutes from the time I finished my steak until the time someone asked if I'd like anything else (time stamp compliments of my sending a text to a friend showing them the bananas foster on the menu that I thought I was about to order) . I was so disappointed (and pissed off or I would have ordered it anyway). I'm not even sure it was the staff's fault. My waitress was extremely kind, and suggested a fantastic red wine, maybe they just weren't staffed correctly. Either way I'm settling for Dairy Queen tonight.
TLDR: Not convinced they staff appropriately, but if you're looking for a good steak, this is an absolute MUST try.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shelly W.Wisconsin Dells, WI061Sep 24, 2021
Atmosphere was exactly what we expected. The service was not great, refills on drinks was hard to get. The food was ok at best. With a group of 10 not one person left satisfied. The seafood hash was inedible, steaks were flavorless, the sauce with the scallops was disgusting. Garlic mashed potatoes lacked any garlic. With very few diners in at the same time it still took us 2.5 hours for appetizers and dinner. The only positive of the night were the drinks, but that went away quickly when we received the bills, way overpriced.
