The mysterious Paige and magnificently entertaining Tim have made this one of my favorite destinations in Woodinville.
Of course the wines are excellent. I'm just a regular person, not a connoisseur, but in my humble opinion the majority of their wines come across as impressive and worthy of sharing without being unbearably imposing. Delicious fun comes to mind.
When they have bites to pair with the wine they are always treats that are appropriately paired. It is especially wonderful when the grill is sizzling in the summertime and the conversational buzz is punctuated with laughter and appreciation for being invited to the party.
Nothing but love for these people, their wines, and hospitality.

One of the original wineries in Woodinville. Tim and Paige were exceptional hosts and we enjoyed chatting with them and drinking their wines. We left with a couple bottles and joined the club; it's not hard to yank my chain for a wine club, haha!
What pleasant surprise to end our afternoon in Woodinville.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Yell P.Bellingham, WA5384Mar 6, 2010
Stevens Winery is the class of Woodinville wineries at this price point. Their XY is probably my favorite wine. The 424 red blend has been delightful each year I've had it. The Black Tongue Syrah is delicious each year. These big reds deserve a few years in the cellar, so don't be shy, invest now and enjoy them even more in a few years. I've just started getting into my 2005 XYs and 424s and they're more enjoyable today than they were when I paid for them.
The Yes (or OUI) is a great dinner-ready wine at a great price.
The beautiful labels are just an added bonus. The real delights lie inside.
If you can't make it to Woodinville (shame on you) then you can find them at Fine Wine and Cigars in Redmond and some other local wine shops.

We love this place. Such great connection with the wine makers and awesome personal touches from the tasting room, labels, wine and on.
Our first time visiting, they stayed open late when I called and said we were trying to find their A-frame sign (they were closed so it was gone), but they re-opened just for us to try a few of what they still had open. We ended up buying several bottles and enjoyed them each!
We can't wait to become wine members in the next few months!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - S H.Kenmore, WA0284Aug 28, 2018
Excellent family owned winery. Unpretentious with amazing wines. Art both inside and outside of the bottle.

Now I don't consider myself a true wine snob, but I would like to think I've tasted enough wines to know the difference between good stuff and rotgut. This small, family owned and operated winery turns out some good stuff. And they're super friendly to boot.
This was one of the last stops on my first excursion out to the Woodinville wine country, and it was by far the best. I sampled the 2007 Oui Blend, the 2006 424 Blend, the 2007 BlackTongue Syrah, and the 2006 XY Cabernet Sauvignon. Wow. The Cab was truly spectacular and the Oui is a fantastic wine that is a steal for $17 a bottle.
If you're heading out to do some wine tasting in Woodinville you owe it to your taste buds to search this place out, trust me they'll thank you.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nicki W.Mountlake Terrace, WA601777Sep 29, 2008
I had the opportunity to try their 424 Yakima Valley Red at Preservation Kitchen. It was absolutely heavenly and I couldn't keep my nose out of my glass! The 45% Cab Franc, 45% Cab Sav and 10% Merlot created a nectar to impress all the gods!
I desparately wanted another bottle so I looked them up online and sent an email in effort but alas it was all sold out. The response came from Paige, wife/winemaker/owner herself, which impressed me as I love dealing with local business owners who are passionate and welcoming with what they do! Knowing how wonderful the 424 was, we couldn't resist her invitation to visit them during tasting hours!
It was a rainy dreary NW day but we beat the weather and were warmly welcomed into their tasting room. We met husband/winemaker/owner Tim and he poured us some lovely concoctions. We also had the pleasure of meeting Paige the other half of this dynamic duo. While there we were fortunate to try the Sauvignon Blanc, Viogner, Syrah and XY Cabernet Sauvignon. Our favorites were the Viogner and XY of which we took home as souvenirs to enjoy at a later date.
Not only is this wine exceptional, the artwork on their labels is also very cool. black and white images of which we found out are done by no other than owner Tim himself! A few of which he has stories for. We were very impressed with this personable and multi-talented team! Rumor has it that they will be hosting a wine maker's dinner at Preservation Kitchen in the near future. Now that is something no one can afford to miss!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Alexandra K.San Francisco, CA142410595May 28, 2017
