      First to Review

      Short story: the steak sandwiches are dry, the bread is too chewy, but at least the hoagie tasted good. 4 of us ate, 0 of us were impressed.

      First things first, I called in my order. The First Lady I spoke with was grouchy and hard of hearing. She handed me over to another lady who was short-tempered and impatient. I ordered anyway, and figured I'd give them a chance-- only because the prior owner was a wonderful lady, and I figured maybe they're just having a slew of orders at once, and they're rushed.

      I arrive, and notice that there are no photos, so I began to snap a few-- the front desk lady promptly asks me if I'm from yelp and begins to complain about me taking photos. I assure her I am just a customer and trying to help her out by adding photos to the profile. She is EXTREMELY suspicious about it! Why??

      I ask if she takes American Express, and she rudely replies: nope, with an attitude. Ugh.

      She's STILL complaining about the pics, so as I walk out the door having paid for my 4 sandwiches with MasterCard, I say, well-- I WAS a customer. Not anymore!! A friendly face and demeanor wins over customers. A grouchy gremlin scared them away!!

      I felt compelled as to being the woman described in the previous review as the grumpy gremlin and also the business owner to respond to what was said!.I am also the 2nd woman to answer the phone when this customer called.. Let's start by when you called we had a very bad connection. No one was short or rude with you. I remember the call very clearly. My employee had a very hard time hearing you. I took the call . When i spoke with you I repeated you order 4 to 5 times clearly because it was very difficult to hear. Secondly all you kept asking for was garlic?? I kept asking you garlic what? Finally you told me you were looking for a wrap after the 3rd or 4th time.. I explained to you that we had tomato basil and plain and I would be happy to make a wrap for you, After speaking with you we prepared your order fresh for you.. Just the same as the prior owners had done. Also my rolls are the same as she used and are from the same company and delivered fresh daily just as hers were. The food has not changed and is made and prepared the exact same way. As a matter of fact I order the same exact products from the exact same vendors. Also you asked if we took American Express I stated no I'm sorry we do not.. Never did I say" nope".. That is not the way that I speak. In addition there were other customers in my store and I have an employee that is under the age of 18. When I asked you why you were taking pictures in my store you ignored me! I asked you 3 times before you answered for your yelp page.. When I responded to you and asked what that was you said your page. I asked you once again what is it and tried to tell you someone from there called and emailed me about a week ago asking if I wanted to continue it and they would change the name of the listing from the prior owner I told them I am the new owner and not familiar with yelp they said they would email me information. You come in my store and start taking photos and it is not a regular thing for customers to do . I asked you a very simple and respectful question and it was like pulling teeth for you to be nice and honest and maybe take a moment to explain to me.. Again , as a business owner it is my duty to respect and protect my employees. You may badger me for doing so and that is ok because I know I did the right thing. even the customers that were in my store after you left found you very odd and peculiar. They questioned you taking photos as well with really no explanation. I encourage you to come to my establishment at any time for lunch or dinner and it is on me! Tell my employees that Helene sent you. Your the lady from Yelp! We have the best steaks and hoagies around town and a lot of repeat customers! As far as customer service goes We go above and beyond for them and will continue to do so.. Maybe a little respect coming in will get you a lot further with people.. Now with this being said and telling the truth the exact way it was .. I have a business to run and customers to take care of.. Have a nice day and we welcome you anytime where politeness goes the extra mile and our customers come first!!!! By the way I cannot post without a rating.. My opinion is.. Come try us and see for yourself! Your opinion matters!!
