Super disappointed by a recent experience at this Starbucks.
I was at the mall and looking for a quick snack so I decided to order the new Egg White Bites. After completing my transaction at the register, the employee made me aware that they were out of the Egg Bites that I paid for. Strike one. In response, I asked for the Turkey Bacon Sandwich and the employee said they were out of that too. Strike two. In desperation, I asked for the Canadian Bacon Sandwich. You guessed it - they were out of that too. I ended up with the Egg White and Spinach wrap.
Wish the employees would check inventory before having customers pay for items.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 14, 2018
This Starbucks sucks. Why you might ask because I don't have half a day to stand around and wait for my coffee. Every time I have been here there is a long ass line. Well today there was absolutely no line, yet I waited over 5 minutes and NO ONE came to wait on me so I left. I mean like what the F? Never again

The service is fast and courteous. The Baristas always get it right here . I can't give all the stars because they have no washrooms , you have to use the mall' s facilities. I would loose my seating and my drink will get cold.

The worst service at a Starbucks I have ever experienced is at this location. Way too understaffed!! And the staff in place is SUPER slow. I waited 20 minutes in line, and 20 minutes for my drink to be made. It wasn't even that crazy busy.. I've been to busier locations and they've never taken 40 minutes to serve a drink. They only had one person making everyone's drinks here.. Hire more staff!!!!

First, I am a Starbucks fan. This is an easy location - great shopping. However, this Starbucks is messy and unkempt! Why? There are plenty of humans working! Or are they? Kindof robotic. The platforms around the coffee beans are so dusty you could write a poem there! It's after noon and there are empty places where foods should be. And the empty shelves are crusty dirty.
In the other stores I noticed -cleaning, cleaning when no customers are around. Try it.
The SB staff doesn't wear branded shirts. Seems like they are wearing tshirts to show off their ugly tattos. Sorry - Starbucks- it's nice you are hiring art-filled people, but first the should look clean and we'll dressed to your brand look. And focus on the customers...look at them when you hand them you coffee.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - F M.Union Hill, IL061Apr 14, 2019
I just stopped by at this Starbucks. It is always hit or miss with people working here. Casey was extremely rude to us. I cannot believe the supervisor stood there and watched the whole thing. And when I asked for her name, she looked at my face as say Casey with her condescending tone.
Starbucks, ur customer service is terrible but still charge arms and leg for stupid coffee and ruining a day.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Gus G.Pistakee Highlands, IL181Feb 17, 2019
The only reason this Starbucks will continue to get my business is because they are the only Starbucks in this mall and I need my coffee. This store is slooooooow so slow. They have 6 people behind the counter on a Sunday and it takes 20 minutes for me to get my drink when there's a line of 6-7 people. I get coffee pretty much everyday from Starbucks and this one is by far the slowest. On top of that they're just rude. For example, and the reason that compelled me to write this review, there was a couple of ladies that clearly didn't have the best English and one of them was asking for clarification if the drink that had just been put down was hers and the employee proceeded to raise her tone at this poor woman's face and basically yell the order name at her instead of just politely saying yes.

Here's the bottom line. I love Starbucks coffee... there, I said it. So when I need an afternoon recharge, it's just much more convenient to go here than elsewhere.
That said, I've had some better experiences lately. I've seen some new faces around, and I feel like the morale on the team is on the rise. We'll see if I can start going enough to become a regular.
Tip : In the mornings I'll start with whatever blonde roast is brewed, to get me going, but when I want more flavor, I'll get the Pike's Place in the afternoon.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Aug 4, 2013Previous reviewI'm a regular Starbucks customer. As a Gold card holder, I have previously visited Starbucks locations 5+ times a week, on my way into work. Since relocating close by, I was hoping that this location would be my new spot, and that I would get to know the team, and become a regular here.
My first few visits here were decent. There was friendly service, and the timing and quality were consistent with my expectations. But then my experiences became inconsistent, to the point where I felt as if the team was just not happy to be working there... like customers are an annoyance to the staff. I no longer feel comfortable going there.
Now, I typically have a co-worker pick up my coffee, if I haven't had the chance to visit another Starbucks on the way in.
My advice : There's a Corner Bakery upstairs, that has free refills on decent coffee, if you must have a cup. Personally, I will not return to this Starbucks until I can walk by and see engagement and smiles from this lackluster team. - Yanyao N.Seattle, WA933598157Mar 14, 2012First to Review
A tiny little Starbucks outpost at Northbrook Court.
I like it because they make me soy lattes when I'm here on Friday afternoons that allow me to rage into the night. (Not really, more like, organize like a person with OCD). The people who work here are lovely too.
I don't like the teens that mill around only drinking tiny cups of free water. I also don't really care for most of the confused customers who don't understand how to form a line.
Still, caffeine is caffeine. I'll take it!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
