One of our favorite breakfast places on Sundays (we've actually made it a tradition). Their eggs Benedict is my go to dish, as you can only get it on Saturdays and Sundays. Service is always awesome and no matter how busy it is the food is always quick and hot.
I will say...it took us a year to eat here when we first moved to mount horeb because it is not exactly appealing from the outside, but I can definitely says it's one of our favorites. It's not fancy, but it gets the job done!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Julie A.WI, WI02Apr 2, 2023
Breakfast was bad French toast had practically no coating, scrambled eggs were dry and the bacon was nearly inedible. Our server was very nice, but it took almost 30 minutes to get our food, and it was not busy. Zero ambience. We won't be back.

I came here to host a work luncheon pre-covid where we needed a private room and ample space for people to eat but also have agendas and papers in front of them. The rental for the private room was quite reasonable ($50 or less if I remember correctly). Everyone was able to order what they wanted they the staff came quietly to serve while the meeting took place which was great. They gave pitchers of water for us to disperse so they didn't have to come back and forth either. It was your typical diner food, with a large menu base and everything kind of having that grocery store taste. Some things were over sauced (I know, I can't believe I said it) or over sautéed. Even with the food subpar, I wholeheartedly give above expectations on service and hospitality!

The food was very tasty. The server, Aubree, was very kind and we had a good talk about chemistry. Whilst my close friend and I awaited our food, a fun game of trivial pursuit was used to pass the time. I think it is very generous of Spring Garden to provide such an amazing game. Did you know that the name of the first nuclear-powered submarine is the Nautilus? Well now you do, all thanks to Spring Garden. Also thanks to Spring Garden, the food was absolutely immaculate. I had an avocado chicken club (not pictured) and my friend got a chicken ranch quesadilla (also not pictured). This place is so amazing, I would bring my mom here. And you should too, bring the whole family while you're at it! Yummy.
Ps. The water pictured had the most amazing ice to water ratio, it tasted like heaven. ‼Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Melissa Z.Greendale, WI139Apr 2, 2022
Our breakfast was delicious. This was the best breakfast I had our entire week long vacation! The restaurant was very empty and quiet and the staff was very nice and very attentive.

A GREAT resturant, with a great menu, especially the omelettes. My wife and I have frequented the restaurant many times and have never had a bad meal...and we actually have received service with a SMILE!!! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal at a reasonable price.

A group of 8 stopped in for breakfast. In these trying times we were served reasonably well. The food was actually pretty good but could've been hotter. Worth eating here yes.

Nice restaurant, clean but dated. Went for breakfast, usual items and some good looking combos. Service not rushed. Cheap napkins and cutlery.

First time being here and I was impressed with the food! I was with my sister and mom and they say the same thing. I had the ultimate skillet and it was the best skillet I've ever had (and trust me when I say I eat a lot of skillets). First time my mom had baked chicken on a sandwich (suggests using fresh pineapples). The staff was also super friendly. The only negative: The decor has something left to be desired.

A couple years ago it wasn't so bad, lots of Sysco food was served on your plate. But recently returned and almost vomited in the parking lot when we left. The place is family owned and is the staff is the owners/cooks children (which isn't always a bad thing) but the oldest that waited on us stunk SUPER bad of BO so bad and was dressed as if he just rolled out of bed in sweat pants and wrinkled shirt. The place is so greasy dirty, the carpeting was filthy, the windows are all fogged over, there is just nothing worth cheering about. The place is falling apart and is going to take more than just the kids to fix it up. I had several stomaches and diarrhea through out the day. Never going to return.
