Spicoli's Grill & The Reverb Rock Garden

We just performed here for the first time last night and it was pretty fab. It's got an old bar kind of feel with lots of wood grain and seating. They offer a full selection at the bar which takes up a full oval in the room and they offer a pretty wide food selection. You can sit at the bar or at a table. There's plenty of room.
The bathrooms were well kept and in true bar format. Nothing too fancy. Good enough.
The outdoor patio is pretty big. Big enough to have a separate porch, a basketball goal, and plenty of outdoor seating.
For performers: Christina, the current owner, treats you very well. Be aware that there isn't a green room situation, but in a pinch you can set up a table side stage behind a curtain to get ready if needed.

Here to see a show, asked for a rum and ginger beer, I was told the ginger beer was for some one else so pick a different mixer for my drink. I asked for rum and seven then. The bartender poor a 7up no rum. When I corrected her she said I was not clear. Ok my bad. The manager then said the crowd that comes to the 6-9 shows are the worst and very demanding. Ok I guess my last time here to support live music.

This by far my favorite bar in Waterloo/Cedar falls. They have great shows here all the time. This is one of the most unique bars around and I love there ceiling tiles with local art on them. They will let you take one home and return it to be placed up there. I have two up right now.

Service has always been great because the staff work hard and the owners are usually there helping out. The owners are really cool guys and I am happy there place is doing so well.

This place is odd... it looks dirty but its not. Taco Thursday is awesome. Good place to meet friends for some drinks. Can get really really loud if there is a band playing. It's really roomy and in the summer it's cool to sit out back and throw some bags...

This is by far the best place to catch the best live alternative and rock music in Eastern Iowa - maybe even the entire State. I've never been to a show that wasn't great. The owners, Cody and Rob, are genuine righteous dudes that have no qualms sharing a conversation, serving you a beer, or otherwise making you feel welcome. All that and they can melt your face with their band 8 Found Dead - they're excellent! Keep your eyes open - you'll be amazed at the acts they book. From locals to national acts, they never disappoint. This is a diamond in the rough, folks. If you live in Waterloo, you don't know how good you have it!
