1. Yum!
2. Fabulous customer service!
3. Cannot wait to come back!
FYI: Stopped in last week after leaving Purple with my BFF (also known as my super-terrific mom) and we were treated at Sparkman's like long-lost friends. Your assistant could not have known this, but that day, especially, we so needed the additional love, thank you. You are the best.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Denise H.Mukilteo, WA126106Sep 23, 2018
One of the best experiences today. Randy and his lovely sidekick Chris made me feel welcomed and took their time explaining the names. No rush, no fuss and I'll bring back friends. Try Rukus and Baba! All are good though!

Fantastic wine and a hospitable tasting room! As a newcomer to Washington, I was a bit hesitant of embracing Washington wines. Sparkman's was a unexpected surprise. It's now always in the wine fridge and often my gift of choice to my out of state friends and guests. The staff at Sparkman's is unpretentious. They demonstrate true hospitality and a desire to have you enjoy their wines and the experience they create. Taste it, you won't be disappointed!

Wine Release Party 10-6-12
THE GOOD:
Great wine and Great atmosphere.
THE BAD:
I can't afford to buy more...
THE LOWDOWN:
This place has great wine. Its the first place in Washington where we found wines that we enjoy. The folks are friendly and their tasting room is easy to ride your bike to since its right off the Sammamish Trail. To date we have had only positive experiences with this winery. If you have time give it a try as your first stop then if you are going to try other wineries you have something to compare to and then see where you would rank them.
I also really like the names of the wines, they are not traditional and so you have to talk to the person pouring for you to know what you are getting.
Give it a try and tell me what you think.

I have been to this tasting room 3 times now and each time it just gets better. The first time I went in I tasted the wines and enjoyed them a lot and the lady that poured me was super generous and even allowed me and a couple of other people in their that was tasting next to me to taste some of the special "club member only" wines. So overall I got to try like 7 different wines. However that day that was my first stop so I just paid my 10$ and left.
The 2nd time I came, I brought 2 friends with me and again the wine knocked my socks off. So I decided to join the wine club. Best decision I've ever made. They comp'ed all my other friends wine tastings and gave us additional pours if we wanted to re visit anything. They were also generous pourers so by the time we left we we're already a little tipsy.
We ended up walking away with 3 bottles each. I would highly recommend the Darkness (a little pricey) The Wonderland Granache (OMG SOOO GOOD) and the Wilderness.
The staff all around were all SUPER friendly and knowledgable. They were not pushy at all and you really feel like you are part of a family and I even came back the week after to bring another friend and the guy who poured us last week was more than happy to see me. I ended up buying a couple more bottles again. haha!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Amy C.Anacortes, WA46136259Aug 24, 2016
If you have an event that needs a venue...WOW! Sparkman Cellars is THE PLACE! I helped cater a dinner party (roughly 22ppl) last night. Bryan and Christy were the most fun, attentive, hosts ever! They set up the tasting room with linens and candles. It was such a cozy atmosphere. Something I have yet to have seen at a winery. The ambience was open, airy, warm, inviting! The music they had playing set the mood for relaxation, conversation, and laughter. They have two large roll up (garage style doors) on the side that opens up to a fenced in patio that has wooden tables short and tall to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Although I was working...my eyes and ears were open! Everyone was raving about how good their wines were. 5 star reviews all around!
I felt so at home and at ease at this event. Probably one of my most favorite that I've ever catered for. Point being..Sparkman Cellars is THE PLACE to have a gathering for any occasion. I will definitely be spreading the word on my newest find! #CookMeSillyHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Darin J.Mill Creek, WA507641Jun 6, 2017
I haven't tried every winery in Woodinville but have tried several. This is by far my favorite. I go often and it is different wines each time because they have a ton. And multiple pours are from $50+ bottles, as opposed to just getting bf a bunch of overpriced Syrah/Syrah blends, which majority of the wineries have. Added bonus - one of the few Washington wineries with a Pinot (grapes from Willamete). Love this place and love their wine club.

Excellent wine tasting, servers VERy knowledgeable and helpful. Had wine sent home from here! Only suggestion to parents who bring little kids wine tasting. Think of the other people around you please.

I went to Sparkman Cellars this past weekend with some friends for a tasting. We found a spot at the bar but right off the bat, we were clearly not welcomed nor wanted by the red headed woman working behind the bar. She was incredibly rude throughout the tasting - blatantly ignoring us, not mentioning a word about one of the wines she poured (just pouring it and walking away), and forgetting to pour us a wine all together until we asked. I have never felt more unwelcome at an establishment and it was an incredibly uncomfortable experience for us all. We hurried our tasting and got out of there as soon as we could.
Despite, the wine was very good and it is in a convenient area in Woodinville.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Chelsea J.Seattle, WA671112997Sep 5, 2013
Sparkman is an intimate tasting room nestled in the core of Woodinville.
We did a tasting here. It was $10 for 4 pours and the tasting fee was waived if you bought a bottle. The only thing that makes sense is to buy a bottle so we did.
The wines all were interesting.
The people working the tasting room were quite busy so after the first pour I had to keep going up to get our next one. That's ok though. They were very nice.
We wished they had food. If they had small bites or even just cheese and crackers we may have stayed and enjoyed another glass of wine. Instead, when we were done with the tasting we went next door to have some food.
Overall, nice tasting room. I'd go back!Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0
