I recently moved to Louisville for a job. Saw these apartments and fell in love....beautiful and spacious. Great amenities. That was all that was good about it. I can hear EVERYTHING my neighbors do. Unfortunately they let their toddler son run around and jump all day and night in their apartment above me. It has been a living hell to never have peace. Management has spoken to them to no avail. I can't wait to get out of here and restore my piece of mind.

While living there we had constant problems with plumbing. Sinks stopped up as well as toilets and caused back up to come up through tub drain. Also, when HVAC went out they set up a portable until they decided what to do. One tech said it needed a new system but that didn't happen. They slapped a bandaid on it and put more freon in. It never really worked right after that. Noise is another issue. And there were car break ins. They don't have security patrolling so beware. Had some damage done to vehicles. Parking is problematic.

Bottom line is you pay a lot but get little in return when it comes to service. I expected a lot more for what I paid to live there. The apartment was supposed to be a remodeled one but I wasn't impressed. I expected new appliances, countertops and faucets. The faucet knob in the master was broken. I could go on.

The other issue was that they didn't tell me they were going under a new management company (Capreit) before I signed the lease. I was so upset because they had bad reviews but it was too late. If I had known what I know now I would not have moved there.

I lived there 2007/2008. They were gorgeous apartments. My son and I moved in there on the top floor. The lady below us kept calling management and saying we were partying all night, when we were sleeping all night because we worked all day. They had a policy where if someone complained about you, you only got somewhere around three complaints and you would get evicted. So We'd get home at the end of the day with a notice, 1st complaint. I'm like what? I call the office, what is this about?, management says the lady below you says you're partying all night, just not so. I'm thinking she made a mistake. Few days later, 2nd notice, loud music and partying all night, i told my son, we are gonna get kicked out of here for nothing. So I decide to go below and talk to my neighbor because I knew it wasn't us and I felt like she was maybe reporting on the wrong apartment. Big mistake! She wouldn't answer the door. She just asked who I was through the door and I told her I needed to talk to her because I thought she was reporting the wrong apartment and we didn't want to get kicked out. And she got all crazy through the door and told me she was calling the police on me and I said no need for that and I left to figure out another way to straighten this out. And then I get a call from the manager literally chewing me out for approaching my neighbor and I said I don't know what else to do because i keep getting notices and it's not us and I don't want to get evicted. I've never been evicted in my life. But the neighbor was a therapist and her apartment was her office and she saw her patients there. So she can run a business out of your apartments, but I couldn't defend myself in any way against this neighbor making complaints. At the end of the lease I moved out. The beauty wasn't worth how we got treated. I was heartbroken and felt like a second class citizen there. It wasn't fair. Still burns me to this day because that apartment meant the world to me and my son because I had just gone through a divorce and we were grieving really bad.
