I purchased a dual dash cam system, front & back. I checked around to see who installs these dash cams.
I discovered Sound Wave in San Carlos. The owner, Mark, was very polite, knowledgeable, and gave a good quote for installing my dash cams.
We set up an appointment, brought my car in, asked about when it would be ready, and sure enough, it was ready on time. The work was excellent. I would highly recommend Sound Wave for any type of electronics that need installing.

Had a new stereo installed after I experienced a  break-in.  Mark graciously answered my questions before bringing my car in and had it ready in a few hours. Highly recommended!

Excellent service and workman ship.  I had dash cam front and rear installed.  Happy with the result.  They went above and beyond and fixed a couple of minor extra things in my car as well, without I needing to ask.  This level of service is rare now a day.  Thank you.

Took my car here to have the rear camera installed and wired in my car. It's now up and running and Mark was a pleasure to work with, super friendly and great service. I mentioned his name to another shop that is helping with another project and they even said these guys are great.

Mark has excellent customer service and will make sure the job is done right. Unfortunately, the job we wanted wasn't able to be done the right way because our car was a little difficult but Mark reimbursed us and did everything he could to make it right.  I would definitely do business with him again and we are sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm not going to be writing anything different than what's been said. This shop is great. They know their stuff, are extremely honest and very efficient. If you're looking to upgrade your stereo, add a back up camera or Bluetooth, you should swing by.

From a customer support standpoint many companies could take Mark and SoundWave as an example of what they should strive for their business.

Mark let me take my time listening to all of the speaker choices, and then pick the right amplifier that would work for my car. When we had a glitch caused by the car manufacturer, Mark worked with me, researched the problem, and solved it quickly at no cost to me.

His motto is to make sure it's done right, and it was. I couldn't be any happier. Excellent job.

Worst customer service ever! One guy (forgot to ask his name) greeted and after I explained the issue with my car audio, he went inside and started talking to someone on phone. I waited for over 15 mins and he didn't even have the basic courtesy to explain how long it'd take or what he was doing. People who don't respect others' time don't deserve to be in business.

I had purchased an adapter for a satellite hook up in my SUV online. I took it to another installer and they were unable to get it to work. Tech-support from the company I bought it from(Crutchfield) was un able to communicate to the installer how to connect it properly. The installer actually gave up. After weeks of back-and-forth I finally called SoundWave. They said bring it right in, I did and the installer took my dash apart got the satellite working all under about 20 minutes. They know what they're doing. They are great with very friendly service. I highly recommend(apparently so does everybody else who has used them).
I should have used them in the first place.
