we finally decided to bite the bullet and go solar about a year ago but initially made the astoundingly bad decision to work with a different company. to say things didn't go well would be an understatement. when we could no longer do business with that lying, cheating, stealing, A-hole company, I won't mention by name -- okay, you twisted my arm, it was Baker Electric -- we contacted SOLAR WATT SOLUTIONS.

Joe, Dave, and Steve were extremely diligent about returning phone calls, emails, and texts and, most importantly, did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. we got constant updates so always knew what was going on and where we were in the process.

I signed a contract with Solar Watt Solutions in October 2020 for the purchase and installation of 3 Tesla Powerwall batteries. It is now April 2023, and Solar Watt Solutions, aka Cleanspark, aka Multitaskr, has still not delivered on the terms of the contract and my SGIP approval is about to expire. Owner Dave Watt is dishonest and deceitful, contrary to the company motto "Honesty Guaranteed". The only thing guaranteed with this company is a bad experience. Mr. Watt strung me along for months using the excuse that they were experiencing supply chain delays with Tesla, all the while, Mr. Watt was negotiating terms with Cleanspark to sell his company and exit with a bundle of cash. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Solar Watt or any business involving David Watt.

We dealt with these people for far too long to get a relatively simple installation done. They were difficult to reach and seemed to not be coordinated with all aspects of the entire installation process. It was a very unhappy and over priced situation. We believe, in retrospect, that they had no idea what they were doing.

We are now almost one year into using this system and are having problems. We are getting the runaround when we call and are trying to get help to resolve the problem covered by warranty.

All indications are that this company, which has since been sold to Cleanspark, is going out of business. We are, needless to say, extremely unhappy and are getting no resolution from anyone in the chain of ownership to help us.

Do yourself a favor and find someone more reputable to do business with.

Andrew and his team are fantastic. They installed our system in Oct2020 and it performed as expected for more than a year. (I gave a 5 star review on the install)

When the SDGE and bill looked a bit off in Dec 2021, I called and discussed with him and he went through troubleshooting steps that ended up with a quick repair at no cost which got me right back on track.

This system has performed beyond my skeptical expectations and only regret was not getting done sooner. The app is great and this company does it right!

The worst experience in my life. There was problem after problem dealing with this company. Use at your own risk!! I would give them zero stars if it would allow me.

Dave and his team are the best around. There is not a more professional and honest solar company around. Solar Watt Solutions did my solar as well as my in-laws and we couldn't be happier. Solar system performs even better than expected and the in-laws love the back up battery that kicks in when Sdg&E shuts off their power.

I don't often post reviews but want to quickly highlight how pleased and satisfied my family is with our recent solar panel installation by Solar Watt.
End to end, this was a clear example of exemplary work and customer service. The proposal was clear and helpful, and I'm happy to report that the process and timeline laid out from the start was exactly what we experienced.
The team was fast and efficient, and overall we could not be more pleased with the results.

This company is a disaster. They installed backup batteries on the side of my house. First round wasn't to code and they had to redo the install. Second time failed code inspection due to many items not being completed for inspection. took many calls to get it resolved And completed. Now they been installed for 5-6 months, nothing but problems. They don't return calls and have been completely unresponsive for the last month after calling every number that I have and after leaving a message for a return call. The system isn't working correctly and I had to contact manufacturer directly as Solar watt solution apparently doesn't provide support for items they install. I should have gone with a different company.

We worked with Solar Watt Solutions (SWS) in the past (2015) with great results, however in our recent 2021 / 2022 project that included the installation of battery back up (BBU), the same company, now wholly owned by Cleanspark, did a very poor job. Once the equipment was received, Cleanspark / SWS scheduled a subcontractor unfamiliar with the wiring schematics and local bldg. dept. requirements. As a result, the system never worked. The second contractor disassembled and re-installed the BBU, it worked, but had to be redone due to requirements of the local bldg. authority. Finally, the third contractor came out, was familiar with the system, local bldg. requirements and the project was effectively completed. In the end, after two botched installations, lots of time taken away from my business to accommodate and impact on our home / lives, this company did a very poor job - all things considered. Sorry to say, as much as I would have liked to, I can no longer provide a glowing review or future referrals for SWS or Cleanspark.
