I first tried the lobster taquitos at a grand opening for the apartment I live at & I FELLL in love.
I've always gotten the lobster roll, but the lobster taquitos are to dieeee for. Their clam chowder is decent as well.

Fast casual location and I haven't been here in years. For the quality that it is and inflation rising, the pricing was VERY reasonable. I got the grinder, which consists of lobster, crab and shrimp combo for $17 and also came with side of fries. Very satisfying and perfectly portioned. It was scary and creamy all evenly a balanced. I didn't get any drink but can imagine it going well with any carbonated drink. My boyfriend confirmed his burrito was also good, but I do t remember his exact cost.

The customer service was amazing and the cashier rep was super sweet, calm, and had the heart of servitude. Definitely deserves a raise or promotion! We both were very satisfied with our visit here from food to service!

Unfortunately, my visit to Slapfish was disappointing, especially since I had high expectations for their food based on all the positive reviews.

First the good part, they serve Paulaner Hefeweizen on draft which was a positive thing.

The restaurant itself was nice and clean but surprisingly empty during my visit at lunchtime.

Ordered the Grilled Fish Taco Combo and their house specialty the Lobster Taquitos.

The grilled fish taco itself was a hit! It was big, tasty and cooked to perfection.
However, I didn't care about the tacos and just ate the fish by itself.
Between the deep fried and the grilled fish taco I preferred the latter.

The Lobster Taquitos were disappointing, lacking flavors and mainly tasted like flour tortillas deep-fried with no lobster present anywhere, imho.

Overall, this seems to be a nice place and the cashier/server was nice and helpful.

3.5 stars for nice atmosphere and friendly service.

I finally got around to finishing my draft, catching up with all my reviews.

I should've got the lobster roll, maybe that's where I messed up. But I decided to go with the lobster & crab melt because I was feeling cheesy that day.

The sandwich was definitely cheesy, the bread was toasted pretty nicely so it was crunchy when I bit into it. The lobster and crab in there was just okay, had kind of a fishy taste to it. It came with fries and they were decent.

Sweet and spicy cauliflower was a good complement to the sandwich, it was nicely fried and you could barely tell it's cauliflower.

I'll be back to try the lobster roll and see how fresh the lobster is.

Slapfish is the kind of restaurant that seafood lovers dream of. You'll be hooked from the first bite.

I am so glad this place is right by my job. Although sometimes they do have weird hours - just be aware of that.

They do have a good selection of things to pick from so dont worry about people not knowing what to get. I really enjoyed the sandwich that i got. It was a bit messy and extreme but overall so delicious. Parking isnt too but but there is other businesses as well that can make things a little complicated.

Definitely cant wait to come back and try out other items.

If you are in the mood for seafood, but aren't in the mood for a sit down restaurant head over here. No matter the location the food is always good! Today's menu choice...fried fish sandwich and fries, which equaled a mini food coma.

Staff was very helpful since I had no idea what to order. I think I asked, "do you recommend that?" For almost every single item. My friends and I settled for the lobster taquitos, chowder fries, fried pickles, and clobster roll and grilled cheese. I loved the taquitos and grilled cheese. I wasn't too fond of the pickles. The chowder was good but I was overwhelmed by the amount of fries. Plus I like my fries to be extra crispy and they're not at this place. Restaurant is super clean. I might come back again and order the burrito next time.

Ordered Hawaiian bowl and some shrimp were not cooked well

Rice was not much and It has 2 pieces of pineapple. Portion is too little for the price you pay.

Amazing qaulity of seafood. Fresh ideas. The lobster grinder is a great value, when it comes to seafood cost per size and taste. The surf and turf burger is a high qaulity restaurant entrée plate in a bite-sized delightful manner. They have their own website that allows for online ordering without a mark up. So order ahead and enjoy. Overall highly recommend.

Ive been here before a couple years ago and I remembered it being good so I got fish and chips and lobster taquitos.
For my fish and chips it was good quality fish but the batter it was fried in had no flavor and was super oily and thick. They set it on top of the fries so my fries got soggy in oil. The tartar sauce was ok seemed house made.
I swear I've had the lobster taquitos before and loved them but this time I did not. Something was off I don't like the red sauce they put on top and it just didn't taste good enough to get again it just didn't come together well.
