This place is a complete scam, I purchased a groupon for one wax and the place was 'new' and Crystal was 'getting settled' so I forgave the somewhat sketchy room she had. The wax was ok so I went back after purchasing a 3 pack for half leg wax and Brazilian for $150 plus tip.
I called several times leaving messages for Crystal and never received any calls back. A couple weeks later I received a $400 -something dollar charge on my card in Florida. So I'm guessing that's where she went after stealing loads of money and copying card numbers. Cool.

I definitely should have known, I purchased a Groupon as I saw decent reviews about this place. I called to make an appointment and I'm assuming it's her cell number, the phone was answered in an unprofessional way but that didn't bother me (though I think you should have separate numbers for business). I booked a 12PM appointment and was told to call or text back with my voucher number as I did not have service to retrieve it.
This is also a WARNING sign you should always view and redeem your voucher after your services though some companies "require" if for "security". I called back maybe 5min later and there was no answer. I texted the information to the number and left a voicemail. I did not receive a call or text back but I didn't worry to much as she stated the appointment was booked.
I went in 15min prior to my appointment and let the receptionist know I was there. She "texted" Crystal and then went for break. After a half hour I then went back and asked if they can make sure she knows I'm here. Of course when they took the time to go to her room they realized she was not there. I texted her immediately and asked if maybe she was running late and i got no reply. I actually got a message saying that the recover decided to not receive messages.
This is completely unprofessional for someone who is trying to get there business together, I support women 100% and would have recommended many people to her but this is just not good.

OK, let me preface this by saying...1) This is only about waxing services because I haven't tried anything else, yet. 2) EVERYONE DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE!

And I'm very happy I gave one to this lovely lady. Crystal is a sweetheart, although she initially upset me with a scheduling snafu. But I'm here to say that I haven't let anyone else put hot wax on me since I met her last December because she's that damned great.

I purchased a Groupon for a Brazilian and full leg wax for nada and was excited to do my legs because I never needed to (YASS). Still didn't, but the cost of both was like $55, so why not remove my peach fuzz? Moving right along...the snafu. We didn't get to have this appointment and I'm fairly busy, had moved my entire schedule around, it was just after Christmas/before NYE...I was pissed. Last-minute problem led me to a rescheduling with her ONLY because she offered the initial Groupon voucher PLUS a comp. Brazilian wax for my second visit. I don't like to dwell, or re-open old wounds...I was not happy, but decided with my laughable salary (and as a waxer of 12 years, someone who has had a bad wax tech here and there) I could give her the chance to at least do the FREE BRAZILIAN after her profuse apology. Alright, proceeding with caution.

Phew! Simmering down now. I arrived back here a week later. We went into a pretty small, but very clean room. She was quick, had a very bubbly personality, and made this very...interesting maintenance experience as pleasant as one can expect. We got through with this wax quickly and painlessly, my lady bits and legs were smooth and I didn't pay a penny for a 5-star experience. Pat myself on the back.

She uses Azulene hard wax. For those of you with sensitive skin--try this out. I never have anything unsightly after using this hard wax that Crystal has here. Stripless wax, IMPECCABLY SANITARY, zero double-dipping...all the positive waxing buzz words. Ignore the negative scheduling ones above for a second. Painless if you're seasoned, and not too painful if you're a newbie (I would imagine). She'll chat you up and you'll be out in 1-2-3!

The next time I went back and used my original Groupon voucher. It was about 4 weeks later-hello, welcome to grooming-and I had another very easy and fast wax. But for the first time in my life, I also got my armpits waxed. I wanted to completely do away with razors but was always too nervous to try hot wax in my pits...I know, go figure.

Crystal assuaged my fears, though, and we added another flawless body part to the supa smooth list.

Pro-Tip: Call and schedule an appointment...then call back the day before the appointment to confirm. Like...I'm just saying. But I'm also saying I come see her monthly...and my armpits are still catching up to my Brazilian schedule, sometimes once at the beginning and end of the month to keep these pits so fresh and so clean, clean.

I arrived at my 3pm appointment around 2:57pm and the door was locked. I waited and tried knocking at 3pm and still nothing. Called the number and got the voicemail. I guess I should have trusted the Yelp reviews. I am leaving for Mexico tomorrow, so I can't reschedule.

Update at 3:04pm: Someone just arrived. I know it's only 4 minutes, but waiting 4 minutes with the door locked is annoying and you feel like they may not show.

Update at 3:30pm: Pleasantly surprised. She was quick and mostly painless. She seemed a little cold and rude at first, but as time went by she became much friendlier. It's just a room, so I didn't undress and get settled before she came in. No ambiance. It's bare bones, but does the job. Bottom line: I would go back.

Bought a groupon for a pack of 3 , first appnt was okay she was pleasant and did a great job at the end of our session I was a little skeptical because she had redeemed my groupon and when I asked her it that was okay because I was obviously going to come back I didnt want her to think that I had used all of my 3 sessions, & she assured me that all I had to do was mention my name and the date of my first groupon session. Unfortunately I tried to make a appnt for my other 2 sessions and couldnt get in contact with crystal, she also never returned my messages.

I would give this place a five star review except for the suite where Skindolls is located. I met with Crystal. I had a 5 PM appointment and was out by 5:30 on the dot! The service she provided was efficient, skillful and thorough! Not to mention the Brazilian only costs $40.

Would never go back.. Soo soo Unprofessional, Rude, Unequipped and Unaware!

It's one of the worst facial experiences I have had. She kept walking out of the room opening the door into a public corridor while I had my eyes closed with something I assume to be cotton. I would have been ok if she was professional, did not wander out during the service and apologetic for :
1. Keeping the place closed at the time of appointment.
2. Making the customer wait.
3. Being unaware of what service one booked.

I felt scared the whole time and was regretting my decision of going ahead with the service.

I gave it two stars because so far my face is fine and has no major breakouts or marks!

Very unprofessional& rude..just like other yelpers said..she doesn't have a properly working phone line..she doesn't have a booking system..the phone number is her cell..she doesn't pick up..voicemail is full..she hangs up on people..& u could show up with an appt & no one will b there..stay away@ all cost..

I got a groupon for a full leg wax and went the next day. She was really nice, and super fast. Her manner is lovely; she puts you at ease, and answers all your questions. Highly recommend her!

Oh, and she also does several kinds of facials. (But I didn't get one of those).

This review comes a little late. Very necessary though.
I was about 15 minutes late because of train traffic and she not only accommodated me, she offered to let me come back to honor the second part of my original Groupon at a much later date.
The space is comfortable and clean. She's very kind and the process is efficient! When I'm back in the US. This is where I'm heading.
Mistakes happen in our everyday lives. She was understanding and accommodating.
