A St. Croix institution with delicious Caribbean food.

I've been coming here for 25+ years and the food is always delicious.

Vegetarian food, food for the adventurous and not so adventurous.

If you're not up entrance just get this delicious stewed chicken with rice and beans absolutely amazing.

For vegetarians there are many choices, chickpeas potatoes okra spinach eggplant, all wonderful!

For the adventurous I would go for the goat, Conch, or ox tail stew.

There are also sweet fried Plaintain's and three different kinds of rice.

Some of the best Caribbean food I have ever eaten anywhere.

Pretty much anything can be had wrapped up home made bread, as a rotie, or a larger portion as a full dinner plate.

    Yum!

It was decent but I'm not sure what everyone is raving about. The reviews really overshot the product. I had the boneless chicken roti...Almost boneless chicken roti.

Super large portions of food for a good price and amazing people behind the counter. They are very customer oriented.

I'll be the first to give this place a less than stellar review. The goat roti was ok, but the curry chicken was not good. It was dry, the curry was clearly undercooked as it was yellow and not a little brown and it did not come with any gravy. What kinda bacchanal? Who does serve curry chicken with no gravy? *steups* Mind you, they have a Trini flag in this place so they should especially know better. I want to throw it out, however I do not waste and that is the only reason I will be finishing my food. Maybe this was a one time fluke, but nonetheless it was enough of a turn off for me to not eat here again when I visit St. Croix.

Oh my goodness....sublime.  The best food in St. Croix.  The chicken roti was juicy and delicious.  The goat with curried potato and chickpeas was unbelievably tasty.  So so good.  We thoroughly enjoyed it.  Thank you!

We got dinner to go here. I think we had some Johnny cakes, a boneless chicken dinner special, a chicken roti, some chicken/okra, and some rice. My wife didn't like the roti very much, and didn't like the Johnny cake either. My boneless chicken was okay but the chicken/okra side was way too mushy. I also found the Johnny cake to be lacking - it was thick, tough, and didn't have much flavor. I doubt we'd return or recommend Singh's.

Wow! Got the boneless chicken roti and it was great.  Nice stop for lunch to go.  Great food and prices. The roti is so big - it's enough for two people or split for lunch and dinner.

Sorry for lack of a specific address - its downtown on a NE intersection corner.

Found this little gem wondering around one evening looking for a place for dinner.  3-4 tables inside - looks to do a lot of take-out business. Large selection of food, great prices.  With limited choices, wish we had found this earlier in our stay (typical).

Good indian food with island twist rich menu & you get local goat curry.

Bhatooras were better than most places in NYC.
Just liked this place. Not great for dining but awesome for take out.

Unless you a hulk, you're taking home a delicious doggie bag, dawg. The portions are delicious and huge! Helpful and friendly staff. Real deal local grub. Whether you get a roti or a plate, you can't go wrong. Seriously, where else you gonna try some delicious goat, homie?!?!  Everything is good. Get the macaroni. Get the conch. It's ALL GOOOOOOOD.

I was craving some roti, and spotted this place across from the bakery, after we had eaten lunch, and vowed to come back! We did get the roti, but couldn't resist ordering a doubles, you can't get those just anywhere! We split the doubles for lunch and took the roti home for another day. Huge portions, reasonably priced and delicious! We will be coming back. And while you are there, go across the street to the bakery and grab a coconut tart, delish!

We were looking for a local experience, and boy howdy, we got it at Singhs. Inside is an ordering counter and a few tables. Everyone was taking their food to go and we did the same. The service wasn't fast, but it's the islands - we didn't expect a rushed pace. Okay, onto the food. Don't miss the sweet potato "stuffing" and Johnny Cakes. They are simple, unassuming and really good. We had the curry goat (not the best curry goat, but tasty), chicken roti (awesome flavor), and stew chicken (I didn't get a chance to try this one). After you eat, head across the street to the bakery. I don't think it even had a business sign, but the locals clearly favor the spot.

Can't go wrong with roti!!! Get whatever you want in it. Ask them to make it spicy if you like that and don't forget to get doubles!

This is the first place we tried on our visit to St. Croix. We wanted to try a place where locals actually frequent. We heard a lot of good things about Roti from Jamaicans so we decided to give it a try. My wife had the chicken roti which was composed of a mixture of boneless chicken, potatoes, and a curry sauce wrapped in a tortilla shell. I had the goat (bone-in) roti which was the same except for the meat.  We both thought our dishes were very flavorful and delicious! A word of caution, however, that if you do not have a high tolerance for spices, say NO to "peppers" when they ask. We both experience pretty serious gastrointestinal "side effects" for about 24 hours after eating it. We believe the "peppers" they referred to were with habanero or scotch bonnet. In terms of the atmosphere, the place is small and set up like a deli counter so you can see the various options. There a are a few seats inside and a few right outside the establishment. Overall, if you are looking for a quick place to eat for cheap, this place is right up your alley!

When I'm homesick, I crave the veggie double, season rice, and baked mac 'n cheese from Singh's!

Cheap quick real food. $15 for conch and shrimp dinner plate that came with rice, beans,  okra. My husband and I shared this dish and were overly stuffed. The only thing that creeped me out a little is how they store their food...all of the items are in metal containers above the large metal containers that are set in hot water. Essentially the food is at room temperature and I'm not sure for how long ; (

One of the top 3 places I have ever eaten at. Excellent West Indian food. Everything here is excellent. We love their curries, doubles, and rotis. If you come to St Croix, you have to drop by Singh's
