Very disappointed with Simmons-Rockwell Ford of Hallstead. I purchased a new Ford F-250. At 350 miles, the driver's side side-view mirror fell off. The service department is claiming that the mirror was hit and they will not replace the mirror. The claim it has to be replaced. It cannot be fixed. This vehicle, or any part of the vehicle, has never been hit. This is obviously a manufacturer's defect and as such, should be replaced under the terms of the warrenty. Simmons-Rockwell says I should report this to my insurance company have them replace the mirror.

Andy McGraw made are car buying experience quick & painless, never any pressure. My service experience was great. The only issue I had was the service Dept wanted to replace a light switch saying the part cost $250 and I can get it anywhere else for $75-$100. I purchased the $75 one online and did the repair myself only took 10 minutes. That?s not cool !!

100% recommend Jordan. Hes friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Being a female it's intimidating to shop for a car, but i left the dealership feeling confident and beyond happy with my purchase. They dont make you feel like a number and they have great quality vehicles. Will def buy another car from them again!

Disgraceful business practices. This dealership tries to balloon your invoice with fees and additional services that you don't need.
Secondly, the trade in offers are down right absurd. The offers are so low and treat your vehicle like it's junk and theirs is gold.
Avoid at all costs, there are so many reputable dealerships that will treat you with respect and be much more honest and transparent.
The environment of this establishment is morbid and drab. No vehicles to view inside and the staff was pretty rude and not attentive to your needs.

I went to get my car inspected in July, as they were the only ones who could do it sooner than 2 weeks out. I expected to pay a little more, as they are a dealership, but was surprised that it wasn't as much as I was expecting (still more than a local shop but not bad). When there I was told there were issues with my car, I call BS as I had multiple other shops look at my car the week prior and none of these issues came up. They ended up changing a tie rod end and front brakes (pads and rotors) and were done in a quick amount of time. The guys are all really nice in the service area and I didn't feel as ripped off as I do at other local shops. My only issue is my brakes, they changed my front rotors and pads (I had a very SLIGHT rotor rumble) and as I had upgraded brakes on the car the ones they put on SIGNIFICANTLY reduced my braking! I also have to wipe my wheels down after every time I drive due to the brake dust, it seems like someone drops a 5lb sack of it over my front wheels every time I drive.
I would recommend these guys, even though they were slightly more money. I'd probably give 3.5 if I could give halves but 4/5 works too
Side note: my wheel adjustments (for alignments) are stripped. They aligned it the best they could but not perfect. As they claim they didn't strip them, I can only assume it was the chain that I got tires at the week before, who also did an alignment (which of course they claim they didn't do it), but there isn't anyway of knowing who/how/when they got stripped. BEWARE OF SERVICE DEPARTMENT!! We stopped in to get our headlight bulb replaced as it went out. The person in the parts department quoted the price of $780!! Said it would take two hours. For a bulb replacement!? Now either they just didn't want to be bothered with such a trivial task and attached a ridiculous amount to it, or they were just trying to take advantage of us. Doesn't really matter their intent. And note we have in the past purchased over ten vehicle from this dealership even though it has changed hands several times. The actual price to replace the bulb was $5.00 at a local service station and took 10 minutes to swap them out. Much better deal than almost $800!!! BEWARE!!!

We brought in our 2015 Expedition for a major extended warranty repair along with a few other smaller repairs. The staff was friendly and helpful. They assessed the problems and ordered parts. A week later, when we brought the car in for the service. They had a loaner car ready and the car was completed as promised. We couldn't be happier with the service performed and the staff. We bought this car used at the end of 2015 after leasing a vehicle for 3 years, the sales staff took in the lease and had this car ready in no time. Our experience purchasing a vehicle at this dealership far exceeded our expectations and now the service department as well. You have a real winning team at SR of Halstead

This time the service department went over and above the norm to insure good service. There was a slight problem that occurred while they were fixing a part. They went over and above what was expected to rectify the problem. Hats off to Simmons Rockwell Ford of Hallstead for a job well done.
