New music venue with that old vibe. Great from scratch kitchen menu. Southern comfort food.

Sidetracks is one of the new additions to he Huntsville Downtown Scene. If you have lived in Huntsville for a while, you might remember crossroads music hall. Sidetracks reminds me of the original Crossroads! Not only is it a great music venue, but great food as well!!
We started with the fried pickles app. The batter is amazing! It reminds you of a fish and chips batter but seasoned to perfection. The pickles are sweet and spicy and a perfect balance! I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich of the day. One word.... amazing... the bread was perfectly cooked and the pimento cheese was gooey and little kicks of heat with great cheddar cheese. The country ham slices were genius! The salty meat countered the richness of the cheese.
Local beer fan? They have it all. They also have great selections of beer for great prices. Most of the beer is $3.50-$4.50 for a can. Amazing dirty martinis as well !
Sidetracks is a great addition, and I will be back!!Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Garth N.Huntsville, AL5493241Jul 28, 2019
Brunch... everyone knows Adrian in the kitchen means you'll love the food - but the mimosa flight for $13, and the laid back atmosphere with some music outside make it where you should be on a Sunday for brunch. Mimosa flight, smoked sausage omelet, and grits that actually taste good... live music on the patio too.

Our second visit to this fine establishment as we blended in with locals both young and new. The Copeland's Band was playing on the patio where you'll find a lively yet laid back atmosphere.
We selected the pork chop bites from the menu and it is a meal in itself. We also got the grilled shrimp po-boy with my fave fantastic string French fries!
The adult beverages were well mixed and a beer special was nice when we first arrived. Stayed until after 10:30pm when inside main stage was Rob Aldridge & The Proponents a fantastic band from the shoals started a night that went long after we left.
New owner Eddie Yessick has really taken this place to a whole new level and truly represents great MusicHall experiences of the past. The setting is open and large giving people the choice of different music and different venue settings. Add to this that Eddie's wife Meredith (a local renowned chef) has taken the kitchen into a culinary journey - "you must ask for daily specials" many are simply mind-blowing goodness! Steak Wednesday Nights offer "Bo Jackson Ribeyes" a very reserved steak offered in few locations in our area - it's my next stop!
I gave a well deserved 5-Stars as all staff work to serve you quickly and keep the area free of clutter and drinks fresh! We will be back and recommend to all of our friends to try them out as well. Years of owner / management experience make this a special spot to stop!
See you there in the back porch bar soon for a drink, some food and some good music!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Christina G.The Bronx, The Bronx, NY122Aug 25, 2019

I stumbled into this musical hall hoping to hear some Beethoven after trying to purchase a side table for my wife/future ex-wife. Instead some punk named Chubs Lord was playing. Which I thought maybe he's related to Lorde? No he wasn't but it was some good tunes I tell ya what and the backdrop is freaking like amazing man I gotta tell ya. I had the steak and a few more beers. The bartenders are superb. The food is top notch. I remember taking the wife/future ex third wife to Ruth chris several times for anniversaries and other dumb crap like that. Probably wouldn't be getting a divorce if I took her here instead. Might try to patch things up with her. Thanks sidetracks you may or may not have saved my marriage.

Always a great time, always great service and the food is always great. I've been going here now for 3 years. Since Eddie bought it it's really raised the bar, no pun intended, for food and entertainment. I can't justify going anywhere else now.

My favorite place to go have a few drinks! Drinks are always good and consistent not too high priced. Very chill and always have great music! Food is amazing too, they have a grilled cheese of the week and it's always amazing!
