Shift did NOT disappoint. I entered information about selling my car on the Shift website and immediately got a call. I set up an appointment, provided the VIN and was provided a quote. I was impressed that Shift contacted me so quickly. They confirmed my appointment a few times and informed me of the documents needed to sell my car. The day of the appointment, Eddy, the Shift representative, came and did a 20 minute assessment, including cosmetic check, and took my husband along on a test drive. He was very genuine and kind. After the deductions, adding extra money for selling the car at the initial pick-up, and providing the required documents, I received the exact amount quoted. Since my car was still being financed, Shift paid the loan directly and transferred the difference to my bank account. Easy peasy. Shift's mission is to make selling a car a less stressful experience, and they delivered. I'm extremely happy with my experience and will recommend Shift to anyone who wants to sell their car.

My experience with Shift was awesome! I was casually looking for a Mercedes Benz CLS550 and a web search led me to the exact car I had enjoyed and owned in the past. Purchase a decent car looks great until you start playing with the function when you get home. My GPS is not working since day 1 and they refuse to fix it. Dealership wanted $150 for the chip that was missing and installing fee to program $400.Never again buying from this company. Terrible communication with support. I'm just going to resell or trade in the vehicle. They are unable to help they said

This was my first experience buying a vehicle from a company without visiting a dealership. I was very pleased that Shift was able to accommodate a test drive for me when I live 100 miles from the location where the vehicle was at. I needed to buy a car, but was dreading stepping foot into a dealership...too many horror stories. I found a car on Car Guru with Shift. I really wasn't sure what to expect; but I really liked the price and mileage. So, I made an appointment to see a 2017 Subaru Forester. After making the appointment; Victor called me to review and verify the time, and who I would be meeting with to take a test drive. My husband and I were greeted by Bryan our concierge; he was right on time, polite, friendly and down to earth. Not at all a car salesman! (A relief). The car was ready, he let us take our time looking at the features of the car until we were ready to test drive. The test drive was great, Bryan gave us as much time as we needed driving around and testing the features. Once we were finished, we went into the meeting room; a large spacious area with a few offices and tables. Not stuffy at all. Everything was done with Bryan; and this was the best part. No price negotiations, no pressure, no pen and paper crunching numbers and pretending to walk out because we didn't like the price. They offer a protection package and GAP, no pressure to buy. A lady from financing called us to tell us the features; but never once did she or Bryan ask us why we made our choice to purchase or not. They use the switch and bait tactic. Before I continue, I have to say that I had my car appraised by 5 different dealers before coming inquiring, which includes CarMax and Niello Car Buys - therefore I knew a baseline and had offers in hand, setting an appointment with them was just my attempt at due diligence. The initial offer was 18,900- I scheduled an appointment with that in mind. After carving time out of my busy day, they called me the day of to tell me that my car was not correct in the forms and was not a sports package but this is going against all 5 of the other appraisers as well as the model name on the back of my car. So they offered me 16,000 (by the way was well below kbb) I am not saying that this place is not an option, however - I do want to further explain to other consumers the type of strategy and tactic that was used as well as providing my "numbers" as a reference point.

Generally I don't review business but this company stands out, particularly the employees. I decided to sell my car and shift gave a more than reasonable estimate so I figured I'd give them a try. I was taken care of by two employees. Eddie and Hunter. Both of these guys were phenomenal at their jobs. They made me and my brother feel extremely welcome, offered us drinks and snacks and a comfortable place to sit while we handled our business. They were both very knowledge about cars and were just very pleasant to be around. I would absolutely go back and do business with these guys again. My first yelp review, simply because Shift deserves it. Shift offers the convenience of bringing your test drive to you. I opted out and decided to visit their hub, originally wanting to test drive two vehicles. Called in and Dante set up an appointment for me. He followed up with text and email confirmation. On the day of my appointment I was running late and had push my appointment back (twice, oops). Called in the first time and moved my appointment back an hour. Realizing I still wouldn't make it in time, I was able to push it back another hour via text. Bryan at the Commerce Hub was awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable about cars. Amazing! These guys are very stellar people who work hard and want to please the living heck out of you. They worked with me with financing, and gave me the best deal. They also found me an amazing wagon. I was super impressed that they could even find a wagon in 2018. They made the process painless. I just hopped online, clicked a few buttons and pre-filled a lot of info about myself. I was able to test drive the car. It was the most relaxing and fun experience ever. Our sales guy was hilarious. He was very laid back and very enthusiastic about helping my wife and I find the best car. I spent about 30 minutes online, 10 minutes on the phone, and 30 minutes picking up my car.
