I have been going to Maggie for Derma-planning and she's amazing!!! If you are looking for a place to get derma-planning or any other treatment done, Maggie is your girl! My very first time when I showed up with bunch of questions, she addressed all my concerns and made me feel comfortable. I was very happy with the procedure and the results after. Definitely go to Maggie.

Terrible experience, literally wanted to cry out of frustration. Wasted 4 hours of my time. My appointment was at 2pm, after waiting 2 hours (4pm) they FINALLY began prepping my room and setting up to draw blood and apply numbing... 30 mins later they then informed me the treatment would only include HALF of what was originally stated (I would have to make another $1500 appointment to receive the other half, which I would've happily paid BUT WHY THE 3 hour RUNAROUND?!). Mind you, I drove 45 mins to the darn office. Very disorganized staff (hence the ridiculous waiting time). Def would not recommend, save your TIME and MONEY - go somewhere else. Left without treatment and they were very nonchalant- no one followed up to even remotely attempt to make things right.

I scheduled a free consultation with Kay. She took some pictures of me and recommended $900 worth of Botox and $8000 worth of fillers for my face. I felt that her assessment was ridiculous. As a medical professional, I feel it is medically irresponsible to recommend these quantities of injectables to a 37 year old woman.
I received a phone call after my initial review from Dr. Shel's office, asking me to remove my review. I declined.
I received an email from Yelp today saying that my review had been removed.
So here it is again-and the review stands: I could not recommend someone who advises such aggressive treatment. I want to look refreshed and well-rested. I'm not interested in the plastic, fake look. I will be heading back to Dr Desai at Laser Renew.

Beautiful place excellent staff. Arrived a little late and they were very accommodating and still greeted me with a smile. I can't wait to go back for my next IV with Guadalupe she is gorgeous and super sweet

Ordered around 4200.00 worth of stuff (a lot of vitamins and supplements, tests, and bundles) they sent all nearly 100 bottles through the mail in two boxes....there is no directions! Soooo many supplements ie GABA, DIM, cq10, protease, progestomend, B12, vita D, CLA, adrenal support, weight support, tranquility, bergamot, CBD oil, 14 day detox (pills and powders), 6 giant protein powders, three diff types of liposomal vitamins,curcumin, digest, probiotic, glutathione...and more. Not a single instruction about how to take these things, when to take them, how often to take them, with food or not etc. 1 yr supply of 23 different pills, capsules, powders and oils. 23 things Im supposed to take DAILY! HA no. Do clue what to do with this crap. Went online and did my own research since all this stuff comes with zero info. Took hours to research everything only to find that half of the single vitamins and supplements are actually already in the BUNDLES. Super shady.... They rescheduled four times. And after all this I can't even get anyone in the phone to answer questions about this stuff. When I bought everything it seemed like a lot but bc it was for a whole year I just assumed that was why there's 6 buckets of protein powder and multiple bottles of every supplement...wasn't till they were delivered that I realized yes ..it's enough for everything to last a year...but they sold me 23 different daily supplements to take. That's insane. I just wanted to loose a little weight and feel less lethargic. Nothing is wrong with me. Anyway I came on here to write this review and noticed DR SHEL RESPONDING/REFUTING people's reviews by POSTING IMAGES OF DOCUMENTS FROM THE PATIENTS (reviewers) PRIVATE MEDICAL FILE WITH THEIR FULL NAME AND TREATMENT ON IT! Just look at the negative reviews and watch them trample over HIPAA with their replies. So sad. stay away from here....RUN AWAY ACTUALLY.

Will they try to sell you, sure. But I have no complaints. After years of suspecting I had hypothyroid Dr. Shel's office was the only one that did a full panel, treated it, and has been treating it ever since. For that I'm truly grateful. I've learned so much about my thyroid and my health it's unbelievable. I think the perk to them not taking insurance is a better standard of care. And I was skeptical about the insurance aspect. I'm happy here and consider this my regular doctor in many aspects. I recommend wellness doctors to all.

Really took the time to make sure I was satisfied with the results...

All they want is money like pushy car sales people. I went there last year for consult and ended up spending over a thousand dollars in hormone testing and still felt lousy! Not satisfied and will go elsewhere to get care! And I started having irregular bleeding and the doctor acted like she did no know what to do. Very disappointed

I just finished 7 treatments of UV light IV therapy at Shel Wellness & Aesthetic Center to help with Lyme. I believe they are only 1 of 2 places in the Houston area that offers this service with the UVLRX machine. They offer convenient evening appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays which allowed me to receive treatment without missing work. The treatments helped my brain fog tremendously. Guadalupe administered my IVs....she's one of the most caring people I've ever met. I am now receiving the UV therapy in The Woodlands which is closer to home but I miss Guadalupe a ton, she's the best!! Last but not least, a big thank you to Dr. Shel for making the UVLRX treatment available in Houston.

Disappointed!
Wanted a Saliva Hormone Test done in house instead I got a ZRT Laboratory Home Collection Hormone/Wellness Test Kit for $360. Nurse stated to take it home and on 19th day after my period to send kit with saliva via DHL. They would receive results in June but I had to pay $200+ to see her for my results or $400+ to see Dr Shell. I realized I'd probably forget to do this at home I asked for a refund. I got it . BUT then when I left the spa I looked up Amazon, found out same kit (took a picture of what I purchased) is $50-$76 dlls only....RIP OFF!!
Getting paid to basically do nothing for me to take the test and wanting me to pay extra to know MY results. RIDICULOUS! !!!!!!!!!

I was referred to Dr. Shel and initially came in for an HCG consult. While I was there I met with Kay about various aesthetic procedures. Kay gave me an ultimate plan but it was above what I wanted to pay. After thinking about it for a couple weeks I met with Kay again and we talked through my priority items and current specials. She made the process as painless as injecting needless to your face can be. She was attentive and prompt with my phone calls and questions post procedure. I was really happy with the fillers and Botox experience and the aftercare. I wouldn't hesitate to go back and try other services. The facility is beautiful and the staff is educated, friendly and truly customer oriented.
