Came here with a group yesterday and the service was great as the food was ready quickly and we were given some chicken rolls for free. The food tasted great and was fresh and was overall a great experience.

Great food and extremely nice staff. Would not expect such great quality food coming from a truck but boy am I wrong.

You can call your order ahead of time or just show up at the food truck parked by the liquor convenience store.

Definitely one of my favorite place to eat and the food is always on point. I've pretty much been trying everything on the menu and they're all delicious.

One of my favorite places to go! Food is always delicious, and they have vegan dishes/options. Portions are perfect. Customer services is wonderful, Amanda and other staff are super sweet and it's always nice to talk to them. I have their phone number saved in my contacts so I can call them when I leave work and pick up by time I get to South Park.

I've heard of this place for a while. Finally was able to try it now living in San Diego. The best shawarma I've have had from a food truck. The food was delicious and beef and Wagyu was nice and juicy.

The Wagyu egg rolls are extremely delicious. If you visit! You have to try those!!!

I've had Shawarma Guys on my Yelp bookmarks since 2020, when they topped Yelp's list of top 100 places to eat, and I'm glad I finally found time to visit recently. They are a food truck parked outside a liquor store here in South Park - the owners of both places are friends - and you'll find an extensive menu with platters, pitas, wraps, salads, and more.

They offer not only Australian "wagyu" for their beef shawarma, but you can also choose from chicken and vegan options. The beef shawarma wrap was indeed super flavorful and came with a choice of veggies added into it. It wasn't ginormously sized in the way that, say, a missile-sized burrito would be, but it was still good value and quality given the $13 price.

Service is fast and efficient and, even though they're a food truck, they have some standing room outside for folks to eat. Even better: you can customize your drinks by heading into the adjacent liquor store - or a nearby Target - while you wait.

This is truly amazing food! I thought that the texture, flavors, everything was just superb. I got the wagyu beef + chicken plate ($17) and the falafel plate ($14). Both were delicious! I can't wait to go again.

I usually get my hair done at the South Side Salon (amazing salon) across the street from this food truck and I've always wanted to try it. Today was the day! I don't eat meat so I got the vegan shawarma and omg sooo good! The meat is a vegan chicken shawarma and was so flavorful. The whole thing was wrapped and grilled, yum! I also added a little hot sauce that they give you on the side, not too spicy and adds another level of flavor. Highly recommend!

I have heard about Shawarma Guys from so many people and we finally made the trip to South Park to give them a try. I ordered the chicken shawarma and fries and my husband had the combo plate and side of falafel. Everything was delicious, but the fries stole the show! The service was awesome the staff was courteous and thoughtful. They knew this was our first time trying their food and they included all of the sauces for us to try. Finally, ambiance is amazing they are in South Park so while you wait for your food you can explore one of the most walkable
neighborhoods in San Diego.

I don't know if I should admit this, but I think I'm addicted to Shawarma Guys.  This South Park food truck staple has some of the most delicious chicken shawarma I've ever had and their wagyu beef rolls are out of this world. All their salads are super fresh and they always get my (picky) order right. Ask about the jalapeño hummus and pick up some extra garlic sauce (not recommended for first dates). My favorite thing in the summer is to pick up some SG and take it down to the park a few blocks away for a picnic. I wouldn't recommend eating here because there are only two small high top tables and no chairs. Best healthy, delicious take out option around though!

Ok, I've had this on my Yelp San Diego list for the past 4 years, but never visited yet.  That is, until my 8 yr old son who idolizes FaZe Rug watched his YouTube video where he came to Shawarma Guys and tried their whole menu convinced me to go. We are from Chicago, and let me tell you, there is nothing close to Shawarma Guys back home! We had a great experience there- everything from the food, to the customer service.  My son was so excited and he talked to a nice lady who he recognized in the YT video.  We ordered the chicken shawarma pita,  chicken cream chop pita, and the Wagyu beef roll and fries.  Portions are huge, fries are fresh, the chicken is perfectly seasoned and tender.  But the star of the menu is definitely the Wagyu beef roll!!! I think I can eat that everyday! It is a Must try! Shawarma Guys, thank you for a delicious meal, and thank you for taking time to chat with my 8 yr old.  Please consider opening a location in Chicago!
