We found ourselves in the unfortunate event of having to use Shaw-Davis, but as weird as it sounds our experience was beyond positive. We had my father's viewing at their Clintonville location and everyone was so kind and respectful, knowledgeable and sensitive to all our requests. From the transport guys to everyone we dealt with were absolutely wonderful; they took care of everything and it all went smoothly. They are a family run business and it shows, they made us feel like family. Their Clintonville location is beautiful and comfortable. Thank you, from the bottom our hearts

You never want to need the services of a funeral home, especially unexpectedly, but the kind folks at Shaw Davis made our experience a good one.

It was clear what services we needed and at what cost. The facility is very nice. They even have a room with a large TV to entertain young ones. The space can hold quite a few people for a service, and they have side rooms they can open up for even more space.

The flowers we received that were purchased directly from the funeral home were very nice and stayed fresh for several days.

The air conditioner did interfere with the sound system a bit, but it was simple to turn it off temporarily and it was already nice and cool anyway.

The two staff members at the graveside were very helpful and respectful toward our needs and desires. I would absolutely recommend this funeral home and would use them again if needed.

Affordable, transparent, and stress free.

An unexpected death created the need to choose a funeral home. Who are you going to use? We were asked. Trying to think clearly during a time like this is very difficult. I had remembered when my grandparents passed away that Shaw Davis was used and I heard how great, easy to deal with and how affordable it was compared to other funeral homes in town.

We choose Shaw Davis and we could it have been happier with our decision.

The staff was very professional, polite and compassionate. They have packages that can be purchased which makes it super easy. However we had a very unique situation and they tailored a package to our needs. The total package was excellently priced.

The viewing and service went really well. The room was very spacious and allowed for a lot of people, we also used the overflow rooms. The bathrooms were very nice, clean and also had a baby changing table. There was coffee and water for the guests. There was also a large room with a tv where little ones could hang out and play.

The graveside service was perfect. There was 2 staff members that were on site to help with any needs and make sure everything was moving as planned.

Sad as our situating was, we couldn't have been happier with Shaw Davis.

I highly recommend Shaw Davis as their pricing is affordable, transparent and stress free.

I cannot say enough great things about Shaw-Davis funeral services and working with them. My father passed so unexpectedly, and we honestly did not have a plan in place, no life insurance funds, nor the financial means to pay the super high costs of every funeral home we contacted for a quote. Kip at SD was WONDERFUL to work with and his direct, 'no hidden costs', and economical pricing approach that really got us through this difficult time of not knowing what to do. My family and I highly recommend Shaw-Davis funeral home for anyone needing excellent care and compassion for a lost loved one.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! These folks are so kind and helpful, especially Alena. They are also so fair and straight forward with their pricing. They handle everything after your loved one passes once you notify them. Thanks for being so wonderful during such a terrible time.
