Does Shakey's have the best pizza in the world?

Silly wabbit. Of course not.

But a large sausage pizza with mojo potatoes on the side for $16 (thanks coupon) hit the spot. We had plenty of leftovers to take home.

Counter staff was friendly, in particular, the manager. Food came out quickly.

The pizza is inexpensive but it's well above average and it's a good value. The mojos are great, of course.

Tables in the room were left dirty for way too long but that's my only criticism.

Good, inexpensive pizza at good prices. I'm ok with that.

I don't know why I don't come here more often! This place is great and I think their pizzas are pretty good!

I drive by this place all the time on the way home from work but could only say that I've eaten here only a couple of times. This place kinda reminds me of the cafe or restaurant at a Boomers, except with slightly better food and without all the arcades, mini golf or go-karts.. actually the do have a tiny room with just a few arcade games for the kids.

The layout is pretty cool and they have a few TVs and a large theater projector playing the popular sport games. Great little place to watch Monday Night Football and eat some pizza! Menu is pretty easy. They've got 4 different pizza sizes from your individual pizzas all the way up to your large pizzas and any basic topping you can think of. They also have these things called mojos which are thin potato slices, battered up and deep fried. They've got other sides available like salad, fries, breadsticks and even offer special combos of all of the above.

We shared a salad bar plate and their small pizza (8 small slices) and requested that half of the pizza be pepperoni and the other half with veggie only. Pizza arrived within 10-15 minutes and it was great! I liked how the crust at the bottom had a little crisp to it and I really enjoyed the flavor of the red sauce. So good, next time I'm gonna have to order extra sauce! The salad bar was just OK - it's a small table of a few items to build your salad but at least its unlimited =). But the pizza is great so I wouldn't mind coming back again just for the pizza... with extra sauce.

First lunch buffet visit for $8.99 for adults and $4.99 for children.

Only complaint is how slow the staff was in keeping pizza available and how I had to clear my own table because of the lack of staff I observed eating on their lunch break rather assist with costumer service during the buffet hours.

I originally wanted to drop my review a star but had too much of an enjoyable lunch from the pizza to the baked chicken; I couldn't drop my review.

Few years ago I had a dinner party for my son at the same location with no issues...

Out late for dinner with my ohana..We Love the fried chicken, and my favorite pizza is the Hawaiian!! Crust is amazing..Mojos potatoes are nom nom and is addicting..and the salad bar is good..
Staffs are nice and place is huge and great for party..they have a small arcade area as well.. definitely a family favorite.

I came in about 8pm with my family, Joseph was very energetic, clever, and witty. He made sure everyone was having a good time. He performed magic tricks and provided us with entertainment with his sense of humor.

He was great and very interested in his work and make sure the food was brought out right and timely manner. He visited that table several times to insure satisfaction. We were expecting to enjoy that great tastes of shakeys but what we had in store for us was not only great food, but awesome service, and laughs. Thank you Joseph! Customer service like yours is what is needed in this industry.

My favorite pizza in Oceanside. Brings up so many memories of my childhood. The crust and sauce are just delicious. It is also a good place to have Soccer or birthday parties because there is an arcade. The restaurant is very clean.

Love Shakey's, they still have great pizza and yummy Moe Joe's. The place is always packed.

Friendly customer service, great fried chicken, the salad bar... so-so.

The TV volume is too loud for my liking.

I want to give positive reviews in San Diego BUT....A LOT OF BUSINESSES SUCK IN SAN DIEGO.

Visited this Shakeys on a Saturday around 2PM. Lordy.....what a hot mess! Order wasn't delivered correctly,I had to physicall take Silverware to counter & show Clerk the food left on fork. I do not have a Immune Syatem so I double check all flatware at each resturant.

That alone was a FAIL. That being said I Booked. Salad Bar was disgusting, not EVEN going to go onto detail on that Salad Bar.

BOTTOM LINE, this location has to be closed down. Nouf said.

Fantastic pizza, great sides and wonderful customer service.

I've ordered Shakey's through a few delivery apps and the food is always on point and delicious.

I had an issue with GrubHub not showing up to deliver my order tonight. The general manager called me and went out of her way to make it right, even though it was not her fault in the slightest.

I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone - the pizza is amazing and the potato slices are to die for.

We eat a lot of Shakey's... Love their bunch of lunch buffet. This is the best Shakey's we have ever been to and it is consistently good. Wonderful service ... delicious pizza and salad... and something that you never get anymore except here, the personal touch. They actually ask you how the food is and if you'd like anything etc.. and they actually bring it to you right away. If you are a Shakey's lover you need to come here and if you're not you need to come here and experience the best of Shakey's! You'll see Tammy, one of the managers, and Joseph one of the employees walking up and down the dining area bringing you the best Shakey's lunch experience you could have.
